[CountDracula]

@Aisling "I know..." Ioan said. "I never thought you were spoiled... the spoiled act a whole lot different." He grinned and made sure that Dracula would hear this conversation. "Right, Vlad?" Dracula laughed. "Yeah, sure! You are the one who gets wheelchairs and all such things!"

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"I am glad that you don't think that I am spoiled. I do like a few things and the only thing that I haven't been allowed to have is a kitten. Shall we head back to the hospital?"

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "Yeah," Ioan answered and teleported them back to the hospital. "I'm getting a headache..."

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"I'm sorry to hear that you have a headache, loan. Thanks for the help." she spoke then sat down quietly in a chair.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "You're welcome," Ioan said. Suddenly, they heard a whip crack from afar. Dracula cringed and began to shiver. His father carefully pet his hair.

[Aisling]

Mystique shivered and cringed.
"Who in the their right mind uses a whip on anything......"
She stood up and looked at Dracula then to loan. It was not a pretty sight.
"Both were .....?" Mystique asked Dracula's father.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "It's for horses," Ioan explained. "You make it crack in the air to give them a sign to go faster. Coach drivers use it."

"Who are you?" Dracula asked Mystique in fear. He did not seem to recognize anyone but his family and Ioan, making him afraid of anyone else. "Please, don't hurt me!"

[Aisling]

"Count Dracula, please do not be afraid of me. I wouldn't hurt you or anyone. Perhaps it is best if I just leave....." Mystique picked up her stuff and went out of the door very much sadden. She felt all alone again. She absent mindedly rubbed her arm as she thought about the situation. She doubted that the Count could ever change. He didn't have it in him to change. Only the very young can change.

@AIsling "Don't feel offended..." the father said via telepathy, still petting Dracula's hair. "He's having a flashback... those make him think he's in Turkey again... he won't recognize anyone despite his family and Ioan... not his friends... not his students... not even his secretary."

I am very glad that I don't have any flashbacks where I can't remember who is who. It's bad enough remembering such things like that. Remember when I spoke of not being allowed out of the house, loan? There was a reason for that but you didn't ask why.
The reason is that I got home from school before anyone else and I heard someone whipping a poor dog. The poor thing was yelping in pain from a whip. Being six and just starting school gives you a feeling of being just as big as an adult.
I went over and happened to grab the whip in such a way that it wrapped around my arm, cutting deeply into the arm and breaking it while the end wrapped around my chest. I pulled the man toward the dog who was bleeding to lecture him about hurting the dog.
Fortunately for me, Dermot happened to see me and came running to rescue me. My aunt and uncle were more scared of being found out about their selkies tendencies than about my bleeding arm and chest. Dermot took care of me while they basically began to pack their belongings. Unknown to me they had found a new home.

@Aisling "Overprotectiveness isn't good at all," Ioan said. "The truth about live is that you can get hurt anywhere. But if you lock someone in, he'll never learn how to deal with it... being protective is good, yes. But not being overprotective. Not locking someone in because he's been hurt once. That is more of a cause for damage than a protection from it."

Well, I was a bit of a spontaneous type person and I have gone to help a person many times when I thought that they were the underdog. I was wrong about people a lot and should have known better by college. I was not taught how to react to such situations.
I am very curious in nature so I ask too many questions which probably drove them nuts. But once I was able to run a computer, I was allowed to learn at my own pace with computer programs. By the time I was 15, I could fix computers and improve them.
I did pass the National testing like CAT and SAT with ease and with a high score. I rarely listened classes unless there was something like a movie or video. I prefer to use books or computer. Maybe it was better that I learned at my own pace.

@Aisling "Why not unschool, then?" Mihnea asked. "Like we do it with Toma... he asks a lot of questions as well usually, but we never mind that. Only once, it was... funny. He was about a year old, then, and saw my dagger. He asked, 'What's that?' And without thinking, I answered that it was a dagger. 'Okay,' Toma said. 'And what do you do with it?'"

[Aisling]

Mystique chuckled 'that was cute.' I will be asking a lot of questions about being a vampire that is for sure. But anytime I hear anything like a whip cracking, I might react negatively. Not as bad as I was when I was younger yet I do have that impulse.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "I'd be jealous on you..." Dracula, who had calmed down, said. "Being whipped only once in my life... that'd be a nice dream to me."

I am glad that you sound better. I wish that there was something to get rid of those memories for you. I am sure that you have tried hypnosis but is there any drugs that makes you forget things? I mean like a mind altering drug. Or perhaps some kind of a magical spell, loan?

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "Getting rid of memories is not a good solution," Dracula explained. "You can never get fully rid of them - not even with hypnosis. They'll just be suppressed, and that means that they'll come back. And if they come back, they'll be even stronger... it's better to learn to live with it. To go to a therapy. Yes, there are drugs that make people forget... it's called alcohol. I'm a sober alcoholic."

[Aisling]

While I have drank alcohol sometimes, it is rare and I have yet to get drunk. Probably because I don't drink more than a glass of wine...... do you mean as a vampire, you drank?

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "Not as a vampire," Dracula answered. "As a human. To me, it's pretty good that alcohol won't work with vampires... I don't want to know what my liver looks like."

[Aisling]

So what happens if I ate or drank something that is not blood?
