"And so they are there! Three suitcases, five boxes of books, my baby doll and clothes, pictures, and my inheritance are in these last five boxes. I don't know what is in them so just put them in my room and I'll go through them. Oh look, loan! My box of board games and my science stuff. My orrey would be in there! As far as I can remember this is all that I have left of my past life. Not much but each box means something to me."

[Anarchy]

Sebastian just pulled his flask out and drank from it. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention. I think it's time to go see the troops. I'll return later, I hope." And with that he left.

@Aisling Ioan looked at the boxes. "I think it's pretty much."

"Really? Perhaps you feel like I was spoiled? Being the only one who did not have after school activities and I had to keep out of trouble and to stay inside meant that while the other three had their special events to go to, I had to stay home. These were my friends from the time I was 6 until I was in college. Even the people we stayed with had after school events that I did not get to go to because it cost too much money. I was not allowed to even get a job.
Perhaps I should just find a way home where I understand things better." Mystique spoke softly as she picked up two of her suitcases and headed up the stairs.

@Aisling "I didn't mean it like that..." Ioan said. "It's not much, compared to what others have. But I had to live with nothing for two centuries... that's why it looks so much to mee."

[Aisling]

"I guess what it comes down to is that to understand another person, you have to live their life. Yet I can't understand my sisters at all and I lived with them for all of those years. I am sorry that you had so little for so long but why didn't you try to do something with your sorcery? Or is it still impossible to turn something into gold in alchemy?"

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "Because I didn't need more," Ioan answered. "Just give me some astronomy stuff and I'll be happy. Plus, witches and wizards were hunted back then... we are still being hunted in some countries."

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

Mystique placed her suitcases in her room and came back for more.
"Why? Just because you can do something that others can't do or understand?"

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "Because of the Bible," Ioan answered. "Exodus 22,18: 'Do not let a sorceress live.' This one verse is why they locked me in for months, tortured me and burned me alive."

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"I have read that and never thought much about it. That is horrible of people. I can understand if you were in the league with Satan and no I don't know how one would know that but if you don't harm others why should someone be allowed to harm you?" Mystique asked softly.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling Ioan looked at her, and if looks could kill, Mystique would be dead by now. "You aren't on that whole 'pact with the devil' thing, are you?"

[Aisling]

@CountDracula
"Isn't there a devil? I was taught that there was and if I offended you, I am truely sorry." Mystique turned and ran to her room and closed the door. There was no need to try to lock it because loan could come in her room whenever he wanted to. She simply buried her face into her pillow.

@Aisling Ioan took a deep breath. "It's okay... it's just that this whole 'pact with the devil' belief is why they murdered 50,000 of us back then... I don't believe that there is a devil... and I don't believe that there is a god either..." He smiled a bit. "If there's one, he's pretty good at hiding from my telescope."

[Aisling]

@CountDracula
"loan, I just can't change overnight what I have learned all of my life. It will take a lot of time and reconsidering what life is and isn't. I just am not sure who I am even!" Mystique spoke mentally.

[CountDracula]

@Aisling "It's okay if it takes time to learn something," Ioan said. "What counts is that you are willing to learn. That makes you a lot different from all the idiots out there."

[Aisling]

Hurt feelings hurt me if you understand. Just let me rest a few minutes then I'll be down.

@Aisling Ioan let her rest.

Soon Mystique was walking downstairs with her hair brushed again.
"Thanks for letting me have some time to get myself back under control. I'll take the rest of the stuff up."

@Aisling "Really, I didn't mean to hurt you," Ioan said and made the stuff levitate to Mystique's room.

[Aisling]

@CountDracula

"It's ok, loan. We really don't know each other very well. Thanks for taking my stuff upstairs." Mystique spoke softly.
"It just takes some time."
