"Suit your self." She realized that it sounded like mocking, given their recent history. Kiiros seemed like the kind of guy to hold a grudge, and he was attacking her when he was tackled by the security force. They may be friends eventually but Kiiros would probably not be to trusting of her anytime soon.

He narrowed his eyes at her before deciding to distract himself from boredom by watching the rain outside. It made him shudder. He's not a big fan of water, for obvious reasons. 'I hope it doesn't rain here like in Galevein.' He absolutely hated going out in the rain, just saps the heat right out of you. Unfortunately for him, it rained almost all the time in that city, with the exception of Winter. He didn't like Winter either. 'Where are we at anyway?' Just out the window in the fog of the rain he can make out a small town a good distance away beyond all the woodland. 'I doubt the people even know about this place... hell, the facility probably claims to be one strictly for scientific research, like medicine and crap. I don't think anybody would guess they're containing 'monsters' like us.' He brought his focus away from the window and decided to lay his head down in his arms on the desk. 'Maybe a little nap will make this go by faster.'

David heard what Veronica said about sunlight. "lack of sunlight gives the body a vitamen A and vitamen C diffency...its not heathy or humans to be without sun." David said looking at her. He finished the test, knowing he got most of the hard one right. He wasnt sure about the others. "Im done.." He put his hand on his computer, draining power from it. It wasnt enough that the guards would noticeot shut down any of the computers

"You in a sticky situation bird girl?" trying to withhold a giggle from his own joke about the state of her wings.

Katherin glanced over her shoulder at Kiiros. His words hurt. There was no one she was going to tell him that she was incapable of taking the test. Kiiros might be the meanest but she had little doubt that the others would pity lack of education. She wasn't like them. She couldn't blend in. She hadn't been able to go to school. She had only been able to learn things she had been able to observe. Reading wasn't one of those things. So she mostly just filled the test with random answers.

Damien rubbed his head at a few of the questions but got through the IQ test fairly well. He leant back as he listened to Kiiros and Veronica. Damien simply rolled his eyes, his energy was basically spent doing the test so he couldn't be bothered to rebuttle Kiiros. He noticed that Katherin was behind him, looking a little hurt. He tilted his head backwards, hoping Katherin would notice. He mouthed the workd "You okay?" to her, making sure that she actually was okay, and also so she knew someone else would fight her corner too.

Katherin gave Damien, or was is name Damon, a small smile. She wasn't ok. But there wasn't anything he could do to help her. Kiiro's words had hurt. But that wasn't her biggest problem. She didn't want the boy to think he needed to rush to her rescue. She had been taking care of herself all her life. She was used to doing things on her own. It would take time for her to get use to others wanting to help her. She nodded. "I am ok."

Ty was brought in the testing room towards the end of the IQ exam. Head still groggy from the recent dose of medication he was forced to take. All he could remember were fragments of memories on the subway train. He was listening to music as usual when the lights began to flicker and a man in a suit with a briefcase approached him. AT first, Ty didn't think much of it but the well dressed man had pulled out a tranquilizer gun and managed to get a dart in Ty's chest before he could react. Every memory since has been of bright over head lights and mysterious corridors of the facility he was in.

He was sat down in an open chair at the back of the room, The computer was already loaded with the exam and awaited the user. Ty's head was pounding and once he recognized what was in front of him, it only seemed to make it worse. He immediately sighed and palmed his face, slowly dragging his fingers down his face until his eyes caught the various others looking back at him. "I guess even in this twisted place, there's still no feeling like being the new guy" he thought.

Veronica heard the new guy come in and felt she had to be one of the first to greet him in. "Hello there! My name is Veronica, I manipulate the wavelengths of energy. Good to see a new face.". She had to try and establish herself before Kiiros tried to step in and try to manipulate him.

Ever since Wes came into the room and got on the computer to do the IQ test, he was contemplating if he should go along with doing it or not, half of the time he was there. Finally, Wes started on the test, having to think, which was something he was lazy about doing but did the best he could. A new person arrived, bringing his head up to see who it was and watched Veronica speak to him. Unless he was being spoken to, Wes brought his attention back to the screen to finish and wait for the next thing they were going to take part of.

"Once you are done with you test head to the door. One of the guards will take you to the lunch room. If you have an dietary restrictions it might be a good time to tell the cook. This won't be like school lunch but it isn't a restraint either. You will be offered a variety of foods." One of the scientist instructed.

Ty noticed a very attractive red headed woman walk up to him, she appeared a little older than himself and she quickly introduced herself. Clearly an extrovert. Veronica. He cleared his throat and managed to speak. "My name is Ty and I create crystals." His voice was low, his head still pounding. There was something about her though that seemed to make it better, even if only a little bit. "This place, what is it? Where am I?" he asked, asking the most obvious questions out of reflex. Upon hearing that they could eat, Ty jumped up and hoped that Veronica would lead him to wherever the chow hall might be.

Jen paled a little when she heard that they were going to be fed.
"No. No. No," she said, her voice slowly rising in volume.
She backed away from the two guards who started to approach her.
"I don't want to do it. Please don't make me do it," she pleaded as they grabbed her and forced her arms behind her back, ready to march her out of there.

"If you feed alittle at assigned times you are less likely to hurt someone. You will be fighting after lunch so you will need all the energy you can get."One of the guards told her.

Katherin looked up at the guards words as she pushed away from her computer. Fighting? She didn't know a lot about fighting. She had seen people fight. But she had never had to do it. Her wings allowed her to escape conflict before it got physical. Somehow she didn't think that the guards would allow her to do that.

"Please. No," she whispered as she was dragged out, her body limp, her head held down with defeat.

Damien stood up, waving away the guards that went to escort him as he shoved his hands in his hoodie pockets. "Lunch sounds awesome!" He exclaimed, he was very hungry, and was looking forward to the fights after. It was going to be fun, actually seeing everyone's combat potential, which is probably all the "Suits", as he now nicknames them, really care about. He noticed Jen struggling with the guards, like she didn't want to eat...

Oh yeah, that's right! She doesn't "eat". Damien walked over to try and at least let the guards let go. "Hey, can you guys at least let go of her, she hasn't done anything wrong?" He tried to ask, but one of the guards merely scowled at him.

"Shut up, shrimpy, you're not the boss around here." The guard replied.

Damien tutted. "Hardass..." He whispered. He then turned to walk backwards to face Jen, trying to get her to calm down and offer her an alternative. "Look, every time you've actually absorbed a bit of us today, nothing has gone close to wrong. You're not going to hurt anyone, I know that, you need to know that to Jen. If you want, you can feed off me, okay?" He offered. If Veronica was going to be the mama of the group, Damien wanted to be the brother to everyone too. Well, everyone and maybe Kiiros.

"You don't know what its like. Every time I feed, I'm stealing someones life away. Do you know what thats like?" She said quietly, sounding miserable, "Every single time, I know that if I hold on for too long, then they die. I just want to stop hurting people."
She let out a sob, a tear falling from her eye.

The situation with Jen would be handled by Damien, so she stuck with the New Guy. "This is some kind of facility used to contain and test mutants, there is a small town nearby but none of us know where we actually are." She said frankly. This was the most she could give in terms of information, short of just talking about what had happened before he arrived. "The others will be introduced to you later, for now, want to go eat?" Veronica said as she walked over to the guards. It pained her to not help Jen but Damien would be the only other person who could take care of the situation.

Veronica's response to his question was lacking in hard facts, something he should have seen coming. At the very least she was friendly. He accepted her invitation to get food, taking this opportunity to make a friend in a place that looked like would now be his home. He never had a stable home, in a twisted sense of security, maybe this was all for the best. "Everyone here looks so normal. And to think that anyone of them could be more dangerous than the last." he thought as he scanned the others.

One stood out though, you couldn't possibly miss her. A reheaded girl with magnificent wings. He was almost too engrossed in her figure catch what the guard had said to her. Fighting after lunch. "They are going to make us fight each other?" he asked to Veronica. Ty wasn't the type of person that enjoyed fighting, he often tried to avoid it. His imagination began to run wild at the potential opponents and he wondered, "What if whomever I'm pit against comes at me with their all and tries to kill me?" His face began to fill with fear but he tried not to show it.

This guy seems super worried about fighting. The idea of fighting did honestly not appeal to Veronica, for several reasons, but she would do what she could. She knew she would have to try and calm him as they were being escorted. "They probably won't let us kill each other, there is so much more we could be used for. But some warnings. Did you see that red haired guy who was sleeping? He is Kiiros, a major asshole that uses fire, cruel, sadistic, masochistic, and he is probably the only one who would go all out on someone." She had a brief flashback to earlier but kept moving. "And the girl who was having issues with guards? She is Jen. she is a bit shy and not super athletic...but never touch her skin. Skin to skin contact will result in your energy being absorbed into her, not instantly but it still feels weird. Plus Jen changes slightly based on the emotions of the people she absorbs from, do try and not make her more scared of worried."

"There will be no killing. We will keep a close eye on all of you. We have many ways to keep things under control. You will most likely end up hurt. But that is simply a part of the learning process. The scientist will pair you up. We will have a couple battles today. But first you will have an hour to eat. Follow the guards to the dinning room if you have finished your test." The guar told them. Katherin followed the guard toward a large room full of tables. She looked around uncertainly.
