@Carlsberg@Ryouko Veronica listened to the two pour out their life for any to hear. She wanted to comfort them, especially Jen. "I hate to hear how bad things are for some people. I just don't understand why some people would just hurt others for no reason; or force someone into a position where their only option is to be killed. I know what it is like, having to kill someone is a terrible feeling. I have had a rough life, sure, but it has been easier than what you two had to go through." Veronica looked off at the fight.
'Neither of them understand... but at least they're trying,' she thought, glad that she was amongst friends. She too looked up at the fight happening above.
Ryouko nodded his agreement to Veronica, talking softly. "Some people have it worse than me, I'm sure..." Then, as he glanced at Jen, his eyes slightly widened. "Did he..." He trailed off, not sure how to properly ask her the question. All he knew was that if the man had done such a thing, he definitely deserved to die and die again.
Katherin wasn't as fast or as agile as she usually was. But she thought she was faster then Kiiros. After all she used her wings all the time.she didn't have to think or focus on them. Still she could just avoid him. She dove underneath him coming up fast.
Kiiros halted everything, recalling back the aura, sword and armor. Just like all previous moments of violence, his pupils looked like a snakes, and he obviously looked insane. He was slowly losing his will to hold back from doing harm little by little as he began to really enjoy fighting, but he had to stop and think. Her flying was erratic and he couldn't hit her with anything while she was up there. He can't constantly go flying after her, she'd know to tire him out. He decided to wait for her to attack him instead.
He gritted his teeth softly as he spoke, gently. "Jen, may I give you a hug?" He asked, as he turned again. He didn't want to suddenly hug her and scare her, being polite by asking. If that man was still alive...Ryouko had no doubt he would kill him himself. No woman should have to go through that, in his mind.
@Carlsberg@Ryouko She let out a shaky sigh and looked at the two of them. "I never knew my parents, was adopted into a loving house at the age of 5 and had a seemingly normal life for a few years. One night when I was 12, I was reading when I heard some one break into my house. I shrieked when I saw a man pillaging my living room, he then ran towards me. He threw something in between the door and got inside, he tackled me and covered my mouth as he took something out of his pocket. I don't remember exactly what happened after that, just that I poured my hatred into his body. My adopted parents ran in the find the man rolling in agony and I ran. I ran as far from home as possible. I found a group of homeless people that took me in. I learned later that the man died form several forms of cancer throughout his entire body. i then lived on the streets for a while, scavenged and stole, all while protecting the group that saved me. That is what I got." Veronica looked at the fight and focused on not crying.
@Carlsberg "Thanks." Veronica may have been slightly underplaying the pain of killing via giving someone a horribly painful condition, but at least she could hug people.
Ryouko pulled down his sleeves farther, making sure that his arms wouldn't brush Jen at her request. He hugged her, softly, before speaking. "No-one should ever have to go through what you did." He whispered, pulling back as he glanced at Veronica.
"...You know, I can relate to you. But even if our problems weren't there...I think I'd still like to meet you two. It's nice to know you two. You can sit, you know..."
@Carlsberg Veronica glanced down and smiled. "I won't sit normally, just going to hover in a sitting position. It is honestly more comfortable to hover then actually resting on physical material, as long as I can maintain it." She then went and hovered just above the seat. Mostly because (literally) hovering over someone is rude.
"No problem." He replied to Jen, as he nodded at Veronica's explanation and focused on the fight. "If Kiiros loses control...I think we'll have to have more than guards in here.." He began to move the small amount of blood in his hand into different shapes, practicing his control over his own blood while focusing.
@Carlsberg@Ryouko The concern from Jen was nice, given that they would be fighting each other soon. "Not enough for it to matter. Thanks for being concerned though. And Ryouko, I am also glad to have met most of these people."
Katherin was confused when Kiiros called back the armor and the sword. She bite her lip. She needeec to attack agin but her atlas sucked. Her best bet was to attack as fast as she oukd. While she oukd go as fast as she normally did she oukd o fater then he I'd, she circled around him as quickly as she oukd yielding up speed.
