Katherin frowned in thought. She had no problem describing a flight. But then what? That's what they didn't seem to get. She had one story to their dozen. Once everyone heard her story then what? She would be right back where she started. "I have one story V. That's it. Once I tell it I'm right back to listening. And your right Jen all your experince will help me. But what do I offer? Conversations are always going to be about things I haven't and will never experienced." she felt like she was being difficult but she didn't mean to be. She just didn't know how she vo u ld be a part of the group.

Damien shook his head, kind of smirking at the same time. "Okay, now I really do need to punch you." He playfully taunted back. Damien charged up to electric balls in each hand and then grasped them. The electricity visibly snapped and crackle up his arms and around his entire body. His eyes began to glow lightning blue. Supercharge, complete. Damien wanted to show off a little, and planned to reach top speed at some point. Damien sprinted forward, surpassing the speed of Usain Bolt with superb ease. As he sprinted, he rubbed his hands together and then held his palms out. He just turned his palms into a much more effective set of defibrillator pads, set to stun.

Jen laughed a little at that.
"You don't need to have a bunch of stories to have a conversation. You can weigh in your opinion, make a joke, anything. Can you imagine how boring a conversation would be if it was just people recounting stories?" Jen said, grinning a little, "You just need to give it a try and put yourself out there a bit."

Veronica had nothing to add. Jen's words could not have been said better or at a more appropriate time. Veronica just smiled and glanced over at the fight. Damien was moving faster than Feminist to Tumblr. "Jen, you are great at this. Could not have said it better myself." Veronica would never have the issue of lack-of-content to share, she envied not experiencing most of this world; though she would never want to give up her friends.

"You give have been sharing stories and comparing experiences all day." Katherin pointed out. She wondered if they even realized that. They could say I saw this movie, I went to this place, I have tried this. She couldn't. She had never played a game, read a book, or watched TV. She had experienced so little that sometimes she felt like an alien visiting Earth rather then someone who has been on the planet her whole life. "I will try but I don't really have any opinions or jokes to share."

"Sure we have been sharing stories all day, it is gathering information on the people we will be with. Trying to understand each other and so we can better work in the future. You will see that before long, we will be making the stories, together." This was some of the last Veronica could put in. Her thoughts had been shared and gave what she could to the best of her ability. The want for Katherin to feel accepted and part of the group was strong, but there were few ways she could imagine to accomplish this.

"But that's what makes you so interesting. You must have such a unique opinion on... well, everything. It's like we're all living in a box, and you're on the outside looking in," she said, trying to describe how special Katherin was.

Katherin suddenly felt like one of the scientist. She had spent her life watching. She was tired of watching. She wanted to participate. She wanted to belong. She looked at the other two girls uncertainly. She didn't know how she could but she didn't want to give up. These girls and the other were her first chance at friends. She was scared but she was going to do her best. "I will try." It was all she could do. "Let's go back and watch the fight."

"SCORCH HIM! And while you're at it, turn the lights back on!!" Calling out obnoxiously from the audience area, Kiiros was definitely interested to see the outcome of this specific battle. Mostly because he honestly wanted to see Damien get his ass kicked for punching him back at the obstacle course. Either way it'd be interesting to see Ryouko in battle as well, considering he doesn't know much about his mutation. Perhaps he'll see another side to his personality as well other than the boring façade he's been giving off.

This fight would probably focused entirely around abilities. "Who do you think will win? My money is on sparky." Veronica said as attention shifted more towards the fight. The combination of speed and power that Damien had would almost certainly triumph over the blood wielder. A chuckle escaped the twenty-three year old's lips as she imagined Damien running full speed and being close-lined by some blood.

Jen nodded and smiled.
"Lets," she said, turning her eyes towards the fight.
She was glad that the girl was opening up. It made her feel good.

Katherin headed back towards the group. She was trying to met the others half way. "Sparky?" She asked. She was pretty sure that no one had been named Sparky. She wasn't used to remembering a lot of names but she was sure that she would have remembered someone with such an unusual name.

Veronica followed Katherin. The thought that Katherin didn't grasp the concept of a nickname stunned her, though she didn't show it. "Damien, he uses electricity and 'sparks'. It is a nickname/joke type of thing." Trying to not sound patronizing was almost difficult, she had never had to explain something like that before.

"Yeah. Like how Veronica is Microwave," Jen said with a smile on her face.
She didn't see anything wrong with poking a bit of fun at the girl who was quickly becoming her best friend in the facility. She was sure the girl would return fire.

Wes watched on quietly at the match to study Damien's abilities.

Katherin tilted her head thoughtfully. She considered what they said. "Ok. I get Damien being Sparky but why is Veronica Microwave? What are the other names?"

Veronica was trying to think of a name for Jen. "I can microwave stuff using my power. Basically cooking without fire. And not everyone just gets a name like that. It just needs to happen." Veronica had been called many things: Mama bear, Thief, V, but never Microwave, makes sense though. Wes could be something like Rasputin, but few here would get.

"I'm sure you'll pick one up eventually," Jen said smiling, taking a moment to think of a few she had acquired over the years. Blue, Orange, so on so forth, depending on what colour her hair was.

"Who decided who gets and name and who doesn't? Katherin asked. She wanted to know the rules of this activity. Most things had rules of some type. She wasn't good at learning them. But she wanted to understand this one. She didn't think she would call Veronica microwave. She looked nothing like the machines.

Veronica couldn't help but giggle. "Usually someone comes up with a name, they say it, and it sticks if others like it and use it. Like, say, Jen could be Vampire or Siphon or something." She almost started on a story about how a girl from school got the name bubbles because a teacher said the school girl looked like a stripper called bubbles; but decided not to because it would compound the issue of inexperience.
