"I've been calling her bird girl." he called out after hearing Damien say Katherin's nickname. Kiiros had wandered back to the group since they were taking their sweet ass time to get to the armoury, and he found the guards too boring for conversation. "You call her angel because of her wings, but I have wings too. Perhaps it's also her personality. So what does that make me? If she's the angel than am I the demon?" a toothy grin creeped across his face.

Damien rolled his eyes. "Yo! Katherin!" He called out. "That's you. Get over here!" He said, smiling. He then turned to Kiiros. Damn right he was no Angel, none of them were, but a Demon is purely evil, and Damien couldn't work out if Kiiros was in fact pure evil. However, he did notice the smile. "I feel like you would enjoy being called a Demon way too much. Right now, I've settled for psychopath." He commented. Damien waited for Katherin before he begun his journey to the armoury.

Her? Damien wanted to talk to her? She was angel? That made no sense. How had he come up with that? She frowned. It's wasn't that she didn't want to talk to him. It wasnt sure what they could talk about. She stepped aside so that she wouldn't be in the others way. "Are you sure it's me you want to talk to?"

Damien laughed. "Of course I am Kath! C'mon, we got one more test." He said as he walked beside her. "You've seemed... distant lately. Is something bothering you? I thought I heard you talking to the girls about something. What's up?"

He only grinned even more at the statement, admiring how observant Damien was. Yes he would thoroughly enjoy being called demon, but not for being 'evil'. "Though such a nickname would be lovely, I'm not a bad guy at all." he put a hand do his chest in a feminine manner. "I'm actually a very nice guy. I could even consider myself better than the average human." hands slipping into his pockets, his grin changing to a light smirk. "The only difference I see is that..." his eyes narrowed, a glint of unknown intent streaking across them like fire. "...I'm not held down by morality." he seemed to give off a vibe of uncertain danger, one could never truly tell what he was thinking when he's like this. "And I think that's a good thing."

"This should be fun," Jen said wryly, "You do realise I'm not actually that good. I know how to work one and stuff like that, but I'm not an amazing shot."
Sure, she could aim with some accuracy, but she could barely classify herself as 'good'.

Katherin shrugged as Damien walked beside her. She knew that no one could understand how she felt. She wasn't sure if she wanted to explain it again. "I can really be part of the group. Listening to all 9f you talk about things I will never and can never experince has only shown me how out of the world I am. I have nothing to offer."

"I think I'd rather break my legs than lack a sense of morality." Damien commented to Kiiros. Morality is what makes you human. He then turned around in curiosity of what Katherin said. She's got wings! That's something to offer. Although, Damien doubted that's what she meant. "What makes you say that, Angel? I mean, I get wings make it a bit harder to walk about town, but you can still experience things. I'm sure." Damien was hit by an idea. "Wait, what about music?"

Katherin shook her head. "That's the hard thing no one gets. I have had to avoid everyone. I haven't been to school. I've never watched TV or seen a movie. I've never played a game. I've barely talked to another person. I have never done any of the things you guys have done. I have nothing to share. I've heard a little music but only bits and pieces as I flew."

Damien nodded his head. "Yeah, I get it." He commented. Damien then clapped his hands together. [color]"Right! Katherin, I am going to educate you on how the world works. I don't know if I could ever get you close enough to the real thing for a couple of stuff, but I'm going to try my hardest!"[/color] He declared. Damien walked in front of Katherin and turned around so he was facing her and walking backwards. "Whaddya say?" He smiled.

Damien was handling Katherin, there was little more she could provide to help Katherin any more for the time being. Instead she focused on Jen. "Doesn't matter how 'good' you are, still better than me in any and every way." Jen's ability to point and hold a gun properly was leaps and bounds greater than Veronica would know. The only thing she would be even remotely good with is knives, and she hardly knows how to actually fight with those, mostly hand-to-hand with a pointy thing at the end of one or more of those hands.

Kiiros was just casually following them to the armoury. Katherin's whole 'I'm worthless and never experienced anything' attitude was really irritating him. "Are you seriously this down on yourself?" he directed to Katherin. "Do you have any idea how many people would feel so jealous that you have wings and can fly? It's always a human's number one dream. They've been trying to do it for ages!" the way he spoke of humans as 'them' and 'they' really gave away that he didn't seem to count himself among them.

Jen took a glance at Katherin and Damien, glad that someone else was talking to the girl.
"I'm surprised honestly. A lot of people on the streets I knew were carrying guns. I would have thought Mama Bear would have some extra protection, besides her pretty face," Jen said.
Admittedly, most of the people who carried guns usually ended dying at the barrel of one as well.

Veronica smiled at the last remark. "While I did think about getting a gun for protection on multiple occasions, I never did for a few reasons. One being that they and their ammo are expensive, and we rarely had any funds whatsoever. Another is that they are loud, a suppresser is to costly and the sound of the gun would attract attention. And the other big one is that getting involved with people who would give them to us cheap would be way to risky to deal with, and law enforcement would inevitably end up on our door step...or entrance area as the case usually was." Guns, in reality, were always just too impractical. No benefit would out way any negative.

"Flying is great. Except that it has kept me from everythinh. And no. I'm usually not this down. But being here with all of you has shown me just how much I've missed. There are so many things I will never experience. And yes Kiiros I know I sound pitiful I don't need you to point that out." Katherin flapped her wongs. She was glad the halls were wide enough to allow her to spread her wings. She flew off towards the amory.

"I know all about the sort of people that you'd buy them from. A few of them were my customers," Jen remarked jokingly, "But yeah, I can understand."
She paused for a moment, curious.
"Where did you live, V? I don't think you've ever actually said," She asked, curious about the girls past.

"Yo! Kath! Wait up!" Damien called out. Dang. Damien shot a glare at Kiiros. Trust him to get Katherin to fly off again because he opened his big mouth. "Guess you really don't have much morality do ya Kiiros?" He asked, crossing his arms. "Can't say one thing without pissing someone off can you!?"

Veronica had been vague about her previous location. It was part of her instinct to hide the people she protected. "We lived in a few places, depending on how safe it was from gang activity and sheltered from public eye; but the longest we stayed at one place was under a bridge near the outskirts of town some nature and few other roads made the place nice and remote. I found them in a side alley that they had been in for a few years. Jennifer was trustworthy enough to be told; and as for the others? They couldn't find them easily.

"It's a gift." he looked up longingly as if thanking the creation of his very existence in that moment. He honestly had no intention to offend, he just speaks his mind all too often. Finally they reached the armoury, he was so excited to see what they had in store.

Katherin landed on the far side of the armory. She found a ledge it sit and watch. Once again she would have nothing to offer. She knew nothing about weapons. She folded her wings behind her. Kiiros was right she was being pathic. But it was hard not to be. They had experince and done so much. She hadnt. That had rarely bothered her before today. Now she had people like her and yet they were so different.
