Perhaps she was in a fragile state of mind, just waiting to break down? Kiiros being the one to set it off. I doubt what Kiiros said would've made Veronica enraged or extremely upset at him were she in her regular state of mind, which could explain why she felt the need to apologize for her reaction.

Maybe. But I have studied psychology. People who put up a strong front aren't just going to run away when the conversation gets emotional for them. They are more likely to act harder to hide the pain then run.

I have studied psychology for a while too and still do out of interest. What you say is true, as Kiiros for example is what I make out to be a strong individual, not easily upset but obviously during the sensitive subject with Jen about friends, he was on the verge of tears. Albeit he shook it off and hid it behind playfulness. When it comes to Veronica maybe she's not too good at containing or hiding her emotions like Kiiros or Wes are?

First of all: Any opinion on ones self is the most subjective opinion you can have. Two: I have explained a few times. Veronica left because she thought her instability was affecting the group in a negative way. So, thinking about the health of the group, she removed herself to prevent damage to the group. Three: The very quote you use explains perfectly how Veronica can seem so strong, but be brought down by one major thing ,at the core of her being, that is hidden by her usual Facade.

This matter had been brought up exactly one other time in her life, just after she returned from it happening. Why do you keep insisting Kiiros was THE reason she left? She left because Ryouko made her realize how ridiculous she was in the situation.

Kathy wasn't on when the event occurred, it can be easy to misunderstand the situation. Characters also aren't an open book, this story hasn't gone too far, there's still lots to learn about these characters.

I am just telling you what I got from what I read. I wanted to understand why she would seek out Kiiros of all people. Even if he is not to blame she just told him what her weak point was.

Veronica is too trusting of a person. Her life has been short term, living day to day, hour by hour. She would hardly be thinking about the implications of telling Kiiros her weak points beyond gaining short term trust.

Kiiros is such a guy. I was typing something and I just had to stop for a moment and think. This is too far, beyond even seeming to be a joke. So it was scrapped. Also...that word in front of Jen and V? #TRIGGERED (lol jk not really)
