[OOC] RWBY - Only the "Finest"

@Crimmyaside from Weiss's scar, we haven't really seen much in terms of lasting damage, but I can assume that without aura, they're just as defenseless as normal people are. Weiss did jump into that volcanic gyser with Flynt in an attempt to stop him, draining her aura in protecting her, so we can assume that people with strong auras can take damage like that better and for longer.

Though I have a question for the team as a whole, have we all been a team for a long time, or are we bunch of misgits that got clumped together in this because we're skilled enough to compete, but lacking a team. Also, who's the leader of 3/4ths of the team. I say 3/4ths because Silme bows to no one. He's his own leader and will probably fight somewhat team-wise if they've been together awhile, or go full lone wolf if we decide to go rag-tag.

He'll never openly show it, but it's there. Started off as just respecting her strength but has slowly groan to something he's not sure about and scared by, hence hesitation.

So we don't flood the OIC, I'll set up a PM so we can work out Team dynamics.

Alright so thats how the brackets are gonna work. any specifics on the fighting itself, or will it just be freeform?

So, for this RP, this is how the bracket system is going to work.

The tourney will start with every character competing in a 2v2 battle. The winners of each battle will select one person to move up into the bracket, where the next fight is a fatal four way. The winners of that round move on to the final bracket, in which it will be one on one battles.

Doesn't the Tournament start with a 4v4, then it goes 2v2, and finally 1v1? Are we just going to skip the 4v4 matches?

Really? That means that at least two characters per team will never get to show off their fighting ability. What a let down! Couldn't we go through a 4v4 round against NPC teams to show off both our own and our characters' skill and full team dynamic before we move into more focused matches?
