Good, but if you really wanna play the "girl in disguise" trope, then I think you should find a more "masculine" looking pic; rest is fine and dandy tho.
Name: Isabel/Robert Cartwright
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Culture: Creole
Appearance:
Normal Apparel
Disguised Apparel
Personality: Stubborn and sassy, from trying to fight her way through a mans world. She will not take no for an answer and is fully prepared to resort to violence if necessary. She will do anything to further her mission but she is very loyal to those that help her. She will try to talk her way out of situations but she will resort to violence if it is taking too long or if the risk is too great.
Backstory: Isabel was taken captive on on of the slave ships after she tried to escape from an arranged marriage to one of the Creole noblemen. This ship was attacked by pirates and she was 'rescued' from the lifetime of slavery. She worked her way onto the crew of the ship that rescued her despite them wanting to use her in other less favorable manners and became respected on the ship and was just like anyone else. After a couple of years serving she heard about the women and children of a little village being taken captive and left the crew to find a way to help.
She took on the disguise of a male pirate, called Robert, and began her search.
I guess I'll do the same.
Name: Balthier D. Sydney
Epithet: "Black Dragon" Sydney
Nickname: Sid
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Culture: Pirate
Personality:
Sid is a very easy-going guy, yet he is hard working when he has a job to do. Generaly speaking he has a good sense of humor, he can take a joke and laugh at himself but he also has a mild temper. He can be more than a little arrogant and stubborn, and he defiantly doesn't take orders very well. He is a thrill-seeker and has a lust for adventure that is without equal. He loves to live life on the edge, which can result in him diving head-first into ridiculously dangerous situations without a second thought and a smile on his face. To his enemies, he can be cruel, often show no mercy and doing whatever it takes to win, no matter how dirty or low.
Backstory: As a kid, Sid always dreamed of setting out to sea. He was a orphan, living off the streets, and fighting for survival. It was a hard life, but he thrived off of it. There was an old man who lived in the town. He never worked, but he always seemed to have enough money to keep living. This old man would often tell stories in the local tavern of his younger days as a pirate. Most scoffed at him, but Sid would hold on to every word. He and the old man grew close, and one day, the old man, who's name was Alzac, took Sid, who was ten, in. Wiether Alzac was a pirate or not, remained a mystery, but he was a good navigator and sailor. He taught Sid how to sail, and how to fight. Sid grew to love Alzac as a father, and he spent eight happy years with him. But it didn't last. Alzac fell ill, and in a day, he died. Alzac's last words to Sid were: "Cast off, my boy...the endless ocean awaits." Sid mourned him, but he decided to do as he asked and follow his dream. Sid was hired as a cabin boy on a merchant vessel. The captain of that ship was a greedy, cruel, and uncaring man, prone to beating his men with a whip he carried. Many long voyages were spent under the lash with little food and water to maximize cargo space. During a particularly bad storm, the captain drove them mercilessly, finally the crew had had enough. They snapped and Sid ended up leading a mutiny. It succeeded, and Balthier, despite his young age, became captain of what whould become, the Black Dragon Pirates. A very sucessful carrier as a pirate followed, during which he eventualy earned a bounty of 1,000,000 gold for piracy, sinking multiple Navy warships, sacking three towns, razing a Navy base, burglarizing a Navy Admaral's house, and shaving a Navy Admaral's prize showdog. But then, after four years of piracy, when he is 22, a rebellious subordinate wanted the money and fame, so he decided to lead a mutainy of his own, marooning Sid on an island, with a sword and a pistol with a single shot. Sid barely survied his three month vaction on that island, but he was lucky, a passing ship happed to land on that island, and the crew took him to land. Sid, determined to set out on the high seas again, decided to find another crew.
