The Trinity has vanished!

Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman have disappeared and no one knows what has happened to them. What is certain was that their absence would cause chaos for the superhuman community. Without the strength, hope, wisdom and justice that the trinity brought to the world, paranoia and the threat of super villains rose.

The hero community was in a state of disarray and the Justice League found themselves struggling to contain all of the super powered criminal activity. Without the big three to guide them they found working together to be much harder and the public perception of the Justice League became more guarded and cynical.

Without Superman’s ideals people began to fear the superhuman population and several anti metahuman groups began to rise with the hopes of purging the world of all super powered beings. As more younger people began developing powers in this hostile world the more they were at risk of being attacked and killed by anti superhuman hate groups.

It was not long after the first several incidents of violence against superhumans that a group teenage metahumans decided to form a team of young heroes in the hopes of helping bring some good and peace back into the world. They call themselves The Uncanny Teen Titans and they will have to face threats from both the world’s villains and the side of humanity that hates them.

This is a roleplay based off of the DC Comics superhero team known as the Teen Titans, this will also barrow a bit from the Marvel Comics X-Men series. Our characters will be new to this team and they will have to find a way to look past their differences and work together to help fight against evil.

Eldritch Magic: Hadrian draws his powers from extra-dimensional entities beyond human understanding and has access to several kinds of magical abilities.

Horror Tentacles: He can summon large gray alien tentacles that can attack and ensnare his opponents, this ability can also be used for defensive purposes.

Eldritch Blast: Hadrian fires off a blast of pure magical energy that hits with concussive and explosive force. The power of this ability is determined by how much magical energy he puts into it.

Nightmare Hex: He attacks his enemy's mind with psychic wave that does damage to them mentally by filling their mind with horrifying images.

Eldritch Shield: Hadrian creates a barrier of magical energy that can block enemy attacks, it's strnegth is determined by how power is put into it and too much damage done to it will break it.

Weakness: Silver is like kryptonite to him and will slowly drain him of his magical power. Even though his well of magical power is big, it is still a finite source and has to replenish over the course of a few hours so once he runs out then his powers will disappear.

Personality: Hadrian is a very cunning young man and will try to think of solutions to problems first before going on the attack. He prefers a more careful option when it comes to hero work and Hadrian tries to keep his darker side in check by fighting against his urges to give into his anger. Because his magical powers stem from extra-dimensional entities of madness, his psyche is affected by his power and he has to focus in order to not give into his madness.

History: Hadrian was born to the Lovecraft family, and great grand nephew to the famous horror author HP Lovecraft. For as long as Hadrian could remember he always had a fascination with horror and the occult. His mind swallowed up all of the cryptozoologist books and pulp magazines featuring his great grand uncle's work. For most of his childhood he was a bit on the strange side and focused more of his time in studying the occult and his writing than developing his social life.

Around the age of nine he began to have strange dreams and his little did he know his mind had formed a mental link with the entities that featured in his great grand uncle's works of fiction, maybe they weren't just fiction after all. These entities spoke through his dreams and offered him power. They told him of a time when they would arise again and bring untold chaos to the universe. Their time was coming they said and a terrible future for humanity would soon be realized. They gave him their dark power and explained that he would eventually become their herald and help bring them into this world.

These fears would become more real for Hadrian when Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman vanished and the world became a darker full of paranoia and fear of superhumans. Still new to his powers, Hadrian knew that he couldn't stop the chaos on his own and he would need help, which is why he decided that it was time to bring together a group of teenage superhumans to combat the evils in the world.

Ooze biology: His entire body is made up of a mystical slime that grants him several abilities. One of them is the ability harden his body or parts of it by increasing its density to be as hard as a rock, and being able to squeeze through incredibly tight spaces.

Natural weaponry: Eddy can shape his limbs into weapons and objects for offensive purposes, such as blades, saws and hammers.

Regeneration: When he gets parts of body blasted apart they will reform, but doing so takes up energy and it eventually he will lose this ability.

Superhuman strength: Eddy can lift up to a total of 25 tons. This doesn't improve his durability.

Weakness: chemicals that remove waste and stains can be toxic to him and weaken him. While his regeneration ability helps keep him alive, it will only work if there is enough of him left to reform so if all of him is destroyed then he will die.

Personality: Eddy is not the type of person or slime creature to just stand by and let innocent people die. Despite how normal humans view him, he still believes in the old ways of heroism and will fight to bring good into the world. Even though Eddy doesn't show it much, he is mindful of his appearance and suffers from occasional bouts of depression thanks to being unable to be human again.

History: Eddy was born to a lower middle class family and was kind of a social outcast when it came to other kids his age. He had a hard time socializing and his likes didn't match those of many other kids and so he never had really any friends. Eddy did try to come out of his shell when he got older and made a few friends, but things would go bad when his metahuman powers activated.

After the disappearance of the trinity public opinions on superhumans became worse and people began to fear the dangers of metahumans and their abilities. It wasn't too long after the big three disappeared that Eddy's powers developed and his body forever changed from a boy into a monstrous slime creature. He felt horrified by his appearance and other people shunned him for his monstrous looks. His shame at himself caused him to runaway from home and eventually he decided to go into heroics and do some good with his powers.

He was eventually found by Hadrian who was planning to bring together a team of young heroes and help combat the chaos in the world. Even though Eddy was reluctant at first he agreed to join the Teen Titans and headed for New York state to the Headquarters of the team.

Celeste stands at a short 5 foot 6 and has a skinny physique that betrays her true strength. Her skin isn't really tanned or pale, just somewhere in the middle. Her most notable features lie above her neck though, with her hair being at the top of the notable list. Her hair is long, and stretches down to about her waste. It's colour could be described as purple, though that wouldn't portray the majesty of it very well. The colour changes hue from neon pink, to deep purple every time you turn away from her. While at first glance, most of her hair would be purple, with only shades of dark pink here and there, at second glance this could change into being almost entirely pink with only small hues of purple here or there. While this may sound gaudy and unappealing, the iridescent nature of her hair is actually rather beautiful.

Sticking out from her hair are two small horns, a staple of her former race and a reminder that she is far from human. Her eyes match her hair in the nature of their colour. While most of them are an aqua blue, the bottom half of both of them fades into a sort of light green. Along with this, further adding to the alien look are here ears, which give off a sort of elf-like touch to her.

Celeste's main power is her sheer strength and durability. She is far stronger than any human, and even then most superhumans. Along with this, she can withstand the full force of a train hitting her head on and only sustain a broken arm or so. Her healing factor is increased, but not overtly so, she could heal a broken limb in about a week or so. She is also able to fly, albeit at only a minor speed faster than her running pace. Her durability factors into her lungs, and she is able to fly through space without fear of death.
Weakness:
Enough damage can kill her just like anyone else. Along with this, her naivety and lack of knowledge about earth can be her downfall, as any villain who convinces her that they are a good guy can put a deathly turn on the situation. Quicksilver also severely weakens her, and can even kill her in large enough quantities.
Personality:
If you had to describe Celeste in two words they would be 'Overtly optimistic'. Celeste refuses to see the bad in a situation, whether this be due to her naivety or something else altogether is unknown, but she never lets anything get her down. Kind and thoughtful, Celeste will often pick up on a minor thing a person has said and try to find out as much about it in order to become better friends with the person.

However, there is a downside to this overtly happy personality. She is rather bold and outgoing in what she says, and can often offend with her blatant observations. Along with this, she knows very little about earth and this lack of knowledge has been a great nuisance for her.
History:
Celeste was born on a planet far out of the milky way. It was a planet mainly filled with various faunas and forests, hardly even breaking past the pre-historic stage of its cycle. Nevertheless, do not think it's inhabitants to be cavemen, they were just as adept and smart as the modern human being, but their culture was centred extremely around tribes and whatnot.

Celeste spent a lot of her youth hunting and exploring with her siblings, tracking various birds of prey and carnivores before fighting and killing the animals to bring home for dinner that night. Everything seemed to be going well in her life, that is, until the Empire of Jahanos attacked. The Empire of Jahanos was an extremely advanced army of aliens, dedicated to mining out planets for their resources whether the inhabitants liked it or not.

This lead to the tribes forming together into one massive army, and managing to hold off Jahanos for a few weeks or so, before they began pulling out the big guns. They slaughtered entire towns without mercy, and began starving out the ones that caused the most trouble. Soon enough bombings began occurring and the tribes began having less and less chance of winning this fight.

Celeste would never discover who won the war, as she was kidnapped before it had even properly gotten into full swing. She was to be used as a bargaining chip, but fate saw other plans for her. She broke out of her jail cell using her incredible strength and managed to make it to an escape pod on the ship she was being held on. She pressed just about every button in the pod before it put her into deep sleep and sent her shooting off into space.

She slept in that vessel for 4 months or so, tumbling and spinning through space until she finally reached her stop. Earth's moon. She exited the vessel fully rested and ready to get revenge on Jahanos. Unfortunately, that revenge would have to wait. She explored the moon, finding nothing but a few rocks and craters. She leapt into the air, only to discover her ability of flight, and managed to make her way to earth before subsequently getting lost once more.

She found her way into society and adapted as well as she could. She managed to get a small job, an apartment and became inspired by heroes like Superman and Wonder Woman to start doing it herself. A few months later and there she was, joining the Teen Titans.

Personality

Xercas Xion is a upbeat, out going and a weird being that feels he's more than life. However, when angered, he will will physically attack a person that may have gotten onto his bad side.

History

Xercas Xion was born on earth, however his parentage comes from an Intner Dimensional beings that traveled through portals that connects from this reality to the other. Not much is known about these creatures, however, Xercas had moved around from Foster home to foster home, not really sure of where he came from. Sure, he may look human with the pink skin and whatever else the human race looks like, but he knows he's different from the other children. While growing up, Xercas had faced a lot of prejudiced from everyone that he stayed with or had ran into.
At the age of fifteen, he ran away from the foster home that threaten to take him to the Anti Superhuman group to have him killed. Thats when he set his foster home on fire, making him scared of himself and how he will endanger others around him. Since then, he's been homeless and doing jobs at different places to make sure that none of the Supporters of the hate group to humiliate him; like those that had been done before.

While putting up a false smile and say he's alright, he cannot control his powers properly and always thinks that he may hurt someone that he may get close too.

Powers/equipment: His robotic body. His body is made of a very solid titanium-carbon alloy. He was built to be able to survive a lot of extreme conditions. He can currently withstand extreme heat and cold. He has a great amount of strength, but it can only grow if he is upgraded. His eyes were also replaced and he has 20x telescopic vision and heat vision. His palms and feet have are equipped to give off a blast of energy. The blasts can be harnessed in three ways; propulsion, plasma blast, and energy ray. The propulsion is just a blast that voilently launches the air from his hands and feet. The plasma blast can be charged, but is harder to control as it gets larger. The energy ray is weaker than the blast, but it is contiuos. His power source is a very advanced arc reactor, or more like three that work in sync. The reactors power different aspects of his body and swap roles as more power is lost from one. The reactors could power his body for several years, but extreme use puts stress on them that requires a new set about twice a year.
Weakness: He's relatively new so quite a bit until he updates his equipment. Such as water, Electricity, EMPs, etc.
Personality: Driven, Random, Blunt. He's quick to run into battle, unless someone tells him to think. As much as he would like to just wing it, he realizes he needs to have a plan normally before going in. He tends to make light of serious situations.
History: Drake was caught in a serious accident during an anti superhuman attack. Rioters violently attacked a super genius, but he fortunately managed to escape. He found Drake in his dire situation and took the child to save him. Most of Drake's body had been burnt, crushed or separated. Several of his internal organs were in serious condition. His head fortunately hadn't sustained any serious damage. The genius spent several days operating on Drake making him who he is today. Ninety percent of his body is now mechanical. He often meets with the scientist asking for repairs and upgrades to his equipment. The genius is what he holds closest as true family.
Other: He joined the UTT soon after he also became the target of the anti superhuman agenda. It pains him to see how people can be so shortsighted and reckless in their hatred against the superhumans.

Weakness: Extreme light or someone who controls light, other weaknesses that humans have.
Personality: Quiet and thoughtful, Aria plans out her attacks. She restrains most of her emotions because her powers are influenced by them. She is quite shy and tends to be alone because she does not have much experience in social skills. But she is kind and will do all she can to help others.
History: Aria was always inspired by the superheroes and the Justice league when she was young. She was born to a human mother and a half-demon father. When the main heroes disappeared, her father was killed for being what he was. He wasn't a bad demon, despite what others thought. He raised Aria to help others and to show kindness to those who needed it. He guided her when her powers began to develop.
Now Aria wants to prove that not all people with super abilities use it for evil. She believes that she can be an example of this, due to her heritage.
Other: Her powers are influenced by her emotions. She has naturally occurring tattoos on her back and arms and tend to glow a dark purple when using her powers. She wears a dark purple, sleeveless one-piece suit, boots, and a white cloak.

Electrokinesis - Hydrokinesis ;; The main fundamentals of Jason's powerset, the teenager has been a mutant since the day he was born - giving him control over both electricity, and the water molecules within the world. His body storing both of these elements in raw amounts, Jason, along with being able to manipulate and generate water and electricity at will, has the ability to absorb both of these elements in their related spectrums, and use the absorbed elements to further bolster his powers. This makes him a very versatile hero, with much potential at becoming great, but it also makes him a bit of a wildcard. Such power at his fingertips can make burning out or losing control only a footstep away, after all.

Weakness: As is expected, Jason, if he stresses out his powers too much, can become very weakened and vulnerable. Similarly, he bears a weakness towards incredible amounts of heat, due to it drying out the water within his body, and if submerged within the earth for any prolonged period of time, it begins to dampen his electrical reserves.

Personality: Although he comes off as a bit cold and/or distant at first, that's mainly because Jason doesn't create bonds very easily. Calm and focused, he is a natural leader, if only because he is confident in his ability to save others, and he has been through quite a lot in his seventeen years of living, meaning that he can lend an empathetic ear to those under his command. Regardless of this, he is a guy that enjoys his time alone, and, as thus, gives off a bit of a lone wolf vibe. He gives no mercy to enemies, and although he doesn't outright kill people...well, they do end up incredibly injured, if not outright paralyzed - literally - at times. However, get on his good side, or slide into the little cocoon of broody-steelness he has going on, then you will have a permanent, powerful guardian on your side. Despite it all, Jason does have a fun side, and is really not as stuck-up as you might think. He has a wry, sharp-witted humor that comes out naturally whenever his brain decides that a sarcastic comment is needed.

History: A boy that grew up in an over-all rough neighborhood, Jason was never a stranger to fighting. He had to become the provider within his family, as he did not have a father, and his mother was hardly reliable when it came to food and water. He took care of her and his little brother for as long as he could, stealing and getting involved in different criminal activity because of it. His powers were realized during an armed robbery, where he had been cornered by four cops, and his mask was beginning to get pulled off. He remember yelling as he shoved the cop away, water from the nearby drainage pipe blasting through the steel, and slamming the policemen into the alleywall with enough force to knock them out.

After escaping, still reeling from unlocking his power, Jason began to train his abilities in secret, whilst using them to take care of his family. It was in his early teen years when his brother was taken into child's services, and his mom arrested for negligence. Not wanting to be locked away in a foster home, Jason fled, heart broken because of the abrupt separation. Since then, he has moved between states, training his powers and learning from different people, all in the effort to make the world a better place. Quite a few years has passed since his journey has started, and he has learned and mastered a lot, from different teachers all around the world. When he was approached with the offer of joining the Teen Titans, he accepted, if only to further his ambitions.

Appearance: Light is a 1.9 meter tall white humanoid figure with cartoonish looking features. Her head is a large spherical shape with no nose, very large black and orange eyes, short blue hair, fin like ears, and a very very skinny neck. She has a noticeable hourglass shape to her with skinny biceps with large forearms and hands with spiked fingers. She wears a white dress with blue trim and a blue tanktop, the dress having an 'M' cut pattern in the front to reveal her legs, which look normal besides the bottom leg ending at a sharp point where her foot should've been.

Powers

• 'Cartoon Regeneration': Light can regenerate from nearly any injury, including psionic and supernatural injuries, although supernatural injuries take a variable amount of time to regenerate from. When Light regenerates, she 'pops' back to normal, or normal with bandages or other things showing where she was injured last. Light has individual control over limbs if she is dismembered. Light still feels pain from any injury she is hit by, and can be knocked out if enough damage is taken.
• 'Cartoon Physics': Due to her unbound nature, physics affect Light differently than normal, with both good and bad effects.
  
  • Light's body 'stretches' when she experiences moments of rapid acceleration.
  • If Light walks off a high point, such as a cliff, but is unaware that she is walking off of an edge, she will continue to walk on air as if it was ground. When she realizes she is no longer on solid ground, she will fall like normal.
  • While falling, Light can stop when approaching the ground to readjust where she will land, before continuing to fall at the rate she was falling before she stopped.
  • Injuries affect her differently than normal. For example, being caught up in an explosive causes her to appear ash covered before possibly breaking apart into a pile of ash, or being crushed causing her to become a pancake, ext...
  • Light can't bleed or have her blood removed.
  • If Light is hit by a sharp object or a hot object on her backside, she'll be propelled away from the object, usually on fire if it was a hot object.
  • Light has trouble dealing with being tied up, as for some reason her super strength does not work when she is bound. And if her hands are bound, she can't use Pocket Space or Portable Hole.
  • For some reason, her eyeballs are far, far more durable than the rest of her body.
  • Light will ignore rules about enchanted or encoded objects if she is unaware of said rules. Locked objects like doors or chests are the exception.
  • Among other nuances I might have forgotten.
• Super Strength: Light exhibits a variable amount of Super Strength. While its been shown she can pick up a house without any encumbrance, the exact limits of her strength aren't known. It has been shown though that if she is picking up an extremely heavy object and is reminded of how heavy said object actually is, or is enlightened to how heavy it actually is, she'll drop it. This effect carries over to enchanted weapons as well, IE, she can pick up objects that others normally can't if she is unaware that she is allowed to pick them up, and the object will affect her like normal when this is pointed out and shown.
• Pocket Space: Light can pull objects out of a space inside her dress called Pocket Space. These objects are random in nature, although very obscure context sensitive items are likely. Weapons are rare. Light can only pull a few objects every couple of minutes. The cooldown on this ability is reduced if Light picks up the items she pulled out and puts them back. Light can also store 'real' objects in this pocket space equal to twice her mass at the time of storing, and objects can't exceed more than 4x her mass in total while stored in this space, although if she grows and thus has more mass and stores objects, then shrinks, she can go over her 4x mass cap.
• Portable Hole: Light can pull a malleable black circle looking wormhole from her pocket space. Upon placing and jumping into it, Light will pop out of a newly created hole that was in her line of sight or is an area that is incredibly safe that she can remember. Light can place the holes anywhere, but the exit hole has to be on a solid surface or there will be a delay before Light exits it, giving the opponent a good amount of time to react. Only Light can go through these holes.
• Reality Siphon: Light siphons the reality and energy from whatever she touches, causing the object to be unable to generate or receive energy and slowly lose its 'reality' over time, eventually fading from reality altogether. (Takes quite a bit of time.) When said object is no longer touching Light, it regains its reality rapidly and can generate energy again. Energy and Magic lose their reality extremely quickly. this power is always on and Light can't change its intensity. Exuberantly large objects are unaffected. Due to this power, Ballistics and Energy weapons have their power drastically reduced while Light is holding them.
• "You're gonna have a bad time.": Light actively warns people using this line if they start to really make her mad, with accompanying ominous lighting and physics. Continuing to make her even more mad means that Light will eventually start to fight with extreme levels of tactical thinking and fighting prowess, while not being above using cheap or unfair tactics and will actively attempt to use such tactics if they are the most effective on hand.. This way of fighting often quickly leads to the death of her opponent. You can tell when she is giving someone a bad time, as she will put on sunglasses beforehand.

Weakness:

• Takes bonus damage from Impact, Fire, and Ice type attacks, and Silver based weaponry.
• Being tied up or otherwise restrained nullifies her super strength/pocket space/portable hole abilities. Meaning she will need to think of a way out, or need to get rescued.
• While very difficult to knock off balance, Light isn't very fast and has only moderate agility.
• Can't use Ballistics or Energy based weapons without said weapon having its damage potential massively nerfed. Bombs only have a major reduction in blast radius but as still as powerful as normal.
• Light's personality makes her easy to manipulate if she doesn't know the person beforehand.
• Light tends to 'play' with her opponents instead of fight them when she wants to fight. When forced to fight she shows some reasonable competence but still plays with them. Just don't make her wanna give you a bad time, or your gonna have a bad time.

Personality: Light is intelligent, fun loving, and laid back. She is more likely to try to make friends with people than she is to fight them, which makes her come off as lazy at times. This makes it fairly easy for her to be caught in traps as she isn't careful, fully aware of her powers. Since she views the world as one big game, she has a poorer grasp on consequences than most. She values freedom highly and gets angry very quickly if she sees someone taking freedom away from someone.

History: Coming from the Void, Light quickly integrated herself with the Justice League when she figured out it would be more fun to be a hero than a villain, as it offered her more freedom and people who would be more interested in being her friend than an uncomfortable ally. Being assigned to the Teen Titans after the disappearance of the trio (None of which she had met) Light is ready to fight for the freedom of the innocent, or whatever brings her enjoyment mostly.

Other: She calls herself a 'toon' or 'cartoon', but shes actually a Void Demon. She realizes her powerset fits into the fun loving tropes of 'toons' and figures its easier for people to understand that than what a Void Demon is and how they're much different from normal demons. Plus people tend to react negatively to demons, and have no say one way or the other for toons.
Also if you wanna use her for slapstick in your post, feel free.

Kimberly

Name - Kimberly Juno

Alias - Voltic

Age - 13

Appearance - This girl.

Personality - Short-tempered and prideful, Kimberly is your typical tomboy. She is adventurous and daring, sometimes to the point of recklessness. However, she does think and act quickly during times of stress. That being said, Kimberly can be quite friendly with other people, easily striking up conversations with other people. She also displays a strong sense of justice, usually seeing issues as black-and-white.

Power/ability -
- Electrokinesis: creating and controlling electricity. Simple.
- Enhanced physical capabilities, with agility being the main focus.

Weakness -
- While she can certainly withstand attacks that a normal person her age wouldn't, she isn't much more durable than a regular human.
- Her electric attacks can be slightly redirected with metal, as well as blocked with insulators.

Conner

Name - Conner Flynigann

Alias - Synchronize

Age - 14

Appearance - This guy.

Personality - Conner isn't exactly social. He tends to just listen to others talk, although there are times he's willing to speak his mind, particularly with those he is comfortable talking to. However, he is quite intelligent, and will make the effort to learn about anything that seems or is important in some way.

Gear - Tuning fork and hammer. Nothing special about them, appearance-wise, but they serve as the items needed for him to activate his powers by continuously striking the tuning fork.

Power/ability -
- Synchronize: Conner is capable of fusing, or "synchronizing", with another person to create a more powerful being. (See Voltune for one example.)

Weakness - He lacks the means to physically fight on par by himself against most other superpowered beings, and his ability is useless without another supperpowered being to synchronize with. He is as soft and squishy as a regular human being.
-Conner requires a lot of physical contact with the other person in order to synchronize. A full-on embrace usually suffices.

Alias - Voltune

Age - Appearance-wise, 19-20.

Appearance - This woman.

Personality - Voltune displays a remarkable intelligence, and is not afraid to input her own opinions. Voltune sees herself as the proof of the bond between Kimberly and Conner, and therefore a separate entity from Kimberly and Conner, addressing them by name as well. She treasures bonds and friendship more than anything else, and will do what she can to preserve them.

Power/ability -
-Electromastery: Voltune possesses power far superior to Kimberly's, able to generate and control stronger electricity than Kimberley's.
-Greatly enhanced physical capabilities: Far superior endurance, strength, and speed than an average human, with agility and acrobatics highly emphasized.

Weakness -
- If Voltune receives an injury, both of them will have the same injury should they de-synchronize.

- The two must work together and think as one in order to stay 'synchronized'. If the two are in enough conflict, it will be impossible to form Voltune. Even minor conflicts will weaken Voltune's abilities.

History - Kimberly and Conner were neighbors and childhood friends. Kimberly quickly discovered her powers after a uncomfortable and embarrassing event involving a wooly sweater and everyone's hair sticking up. As the two met up afterwards, Conner reveals that he had been instinctively aware of his ability for as long as he could remember, although he had no idea how to use it. Kimberly began practicing her newfound ability in secret, only allowing Conner to see what she was doing.

During a session of Kimberly's secret target practice, Norvandell found a tuning fork. Upon picking it up, he suddenly felt an urge to strike it. As he did so, Kimberly found her power being amplified. They began to experiment further, seeing how far powers could be amplified, how it worked, etc. From that day on, they began to have more fun with their experimentation and training.

One day, the two were with their parents at a small shop, when a superhuman robber appeared, demanding money and supplies. Everyone within the shop was held hostage, and police quick came to surround the area. However, Kimberly and Conner rose up, using their combined powers to fight back. Unfortunately, even their efforts couldn't defeat the robber, and were held at a stalemate. Then, during another exchange of blows, Katherine was knocked back into Conner, and it was then that Conner "tuned" with Katherine, to create a new being, "Voltune". Voltune then used her powers and quickly ended the event.

Since then, the secrets were revealed, and the two were given certain freedoms regarding their powers (although kept at somewhat stricter treatment.)

Technopathy

Nikki can manipulate technology and technological constructs, computers, robots, hardware and other devices that can be termed as "technology". This allows her physical interaction with machines, or even a psychic ability that allows mental interface with computer data.

She can control the flow of intricate machinery and can allow them to assemble or disengage their programming at will. Can operate most technology just by touching or looking.

Restoration

Nikki can repair and return any broken or damaged machine to its optimal state no matter how long it has been broken or how damaged it was.

How long this takes is dependent on the size an complexity of the machine in question but she must have physical contact with her target.

Technopathic Perception

Nikki can read electronic signals, sort of like mind reading for machines. Can be used to "talk" to computers or interrogate them (Hack) for information

Sentience Inducement

Nikki's ability can accidently grant complex machinery the ability to feel, perceive, or be conscious, or to have subjective experiences.

These machines must have some form of electronics within them and can range from High tech military equipment to electronic appliances.

The chance that her contact with them causes sentience is increased by the complexity of the device, machine or computer.

Once the machine has sentience Niki must negotiate with it rather than command. The effect is temporary in most cases but on extremely rare occasions can be permanent such as is the case of Teddy; the bear can talk and carry on conversations.

Energy field

This power allows Niki to power any device she is within 15 feet of whether the device, machine or computer runs on fossil fuel, electricity or other type of source except biological.

, this gives Niki the ability to remember anything she sees or reads with the clarity of an advanced computer

Teddy

Teddy is a large white Teddy Bear designed by Niki's parents to be Companion and Tutor for their daughter. Packed with computer hardware usually only found on large military installations Teddy was the only prototype of his kind ever built. Heat and sound sensors allow Teddy to monitor anyone who holds him physically and even judge their moods.
He was programed with the most life like personality Nicole's father ever designed and was brought to Sentience by CG due to prolonged exposure to her abilities making Teddy the most powerful minicomputer in existence.

Stungun

using both electrical an kinetic force this weapon is powered by Niki's own power field and operates using gauss tech to accelerate soft and hard rubber balls at speeds calibrated by a smart sensor that judges the target's resistance and the need. Some of the balls contain a small but powerful capacitors that also release a preprogramed taser charge on impact.

CG Armor

This armor is powered by Niki's Energy field an cannot be powered in any other way.
Equipped with sensor that would be the envy of any military machine CG can see in the dark using infrared, ultraviolet and low light enhancers.
Due to it's precision construction down to the molecular level the protection abilities possessed by the armor can shrug off up to .50 caliber rounds. It also protects Niki from heat, cold, radiation and gases as well as vacuum.

Weakness: Primary weakness is that outside of her CG armor Niki is as fragile as a normal girl.
Her power doesn't function on biologicals
She requires three times the calories of a normal girl her age and if her access to that amount is curtailed or taken to basic normal for three days Niki loses it and requires 7 days at three times normal to recover.

Personality: Niki seems to be the quiet type of studious girl commonly called a nerd or geek but it is a facade used to insulate her from the curious. Inside she is a hyperactive personality who is only at rest when she sleeps.

History: Nikki was born 16 years ago an only child to Frank an Joyce Milinaire.
Her parents were both in their late forties and Professors at Erskine Technical Institute her father teaching programing and her mother robotics.

Nikki grew up in a house where it wasn't uncommon to have military officers or world renowned scientists drop by for anything from a Barbecue to a closed meeting while federal officers put the house under watch. She attended several launches of space vehicles before she was 9 and even watched her mom go into space once to repair a satellite she'd designed when she was 10.

Then one day it happened that her father while working on a project to program nanites for use in some unknown project and was killed in an unexplained explosion in his lab, Nikki was only 12 years old.

Her mother was so distraught that she had a complete nervous breakdown and had to be committed to an institution. Because of her high security clearance Nikki's mother was kept in a special place reserved for others like herself and restricts visitation.

When she turned 13 her guardian Uncle Blinky took to see a lawyer who said he was executing a living will written out by her mother. In the will Nikki found herself the owner of her family home, her father's

At 14 she was accepted by Erskine Tech where she began work in earning two degrees one in Physics an the others in mechanical engineering.
