"It's not your fault, Cal. It's my fault for I was expecting an adult teacher and you looked like you might be old enough.... Well, there is no harm done. You will receive the student version of these. Allie, could you please take Cal back out to where Thomas is? He can wait with the others and if you find the replacement teacher, please bring him or her inside.

I am so sorry, Cal. But even adults make mistakes." Lady Violetta spoke slightly flustered.

Dar heard the word 'fire' and spun around, now feeling heat coming from a fellow teacher, causing him to back away. Aura took up a protective position in front of him as he backed away, prepared to douse any flames that might emerge, though it appeared as if none would. Once the pair were back far enough, Dar sighed, "What a way to start my first day, huh?" he spoke to Aura. The dragon returned back to his side, though her eyes remained on the two males near them, "Perhaps it best we go find Lady Violetta and announce your arrival?" she suggested to him. Dar chuckled, "It's likely she knows already, if this place is anything like the old academy." he replied. He stroked Aura's head before deciding to head into the academy, pulling out the map he had been given after accepting the job. He figured out where the Headmistress' office was and made his way there, coming to a stop just outside the closed door, Must be busy, guess I'll wait. he thought to himself. He looked around and took a seat, Aura sitting near him and resting her head on one of his legs, allowing him to stroke her head again as she let out soft gurgling noises.

Cal looks relieved and smiles. "Its okay Miss" Hs shrugs. "We're all human and humans tend to make mistakes" Having no idea that he is half pixie, this comment is most likely interesting. He gives another smile before opening the door and holding it so that Allison can walk out before him. As he thought about it, he did look at least 20...funny how he used to be small at one point. His light honey colored eyes showing relief, excitement, and nervousness all bundled together. His energy almost radiates off of him, like he could run for days if he could. He almost was like a humanoid version of a puppy. His thoughts run rampant as he thinks of what all he would be doing here and if this really is a dream.

"Well you certainly look older than you are," Allison commented on the fact that he's only 19. She just figured he was nervous because he fell through the painting and couldn't figure out what was going on. Perhaps it was more because he was being mistaken for a teacher when he's a student. "Sure, I can do that," she told the headmistress. It really was no problem taking him to where Thomas was.

Allison picked Blaze up and walked out of the room while Cal held the door open for her. "Thanks," she said as she walked out and waited for Cal to follow. "Sorry for the confusion, but everyone makes mistakes. Thomas is probably still outside." Allison led Cal back outside to find Thomas is with another student. She walked over to him. "Thomas this is Cal. I believe he got mistaken for a teacher when he arrived here."

Now to see if the other teacher was around here. There didn't seem to be anyone else around at the moment. Either he or she hasn't arrived yet or Allison just missed them.

Cal smiles at allison and shrugs as he follows her. Totally missing the guy that was sitting right outside the office. "It's fine." He keeps pace with her easily his hand in his pockets again. "Where I am from everyone pretty much knows me so they know my age....so I guess I look older" he shrugs as he walks.

When they reach Thomas he gives a smile and a shrug in reference to the confusion. "No offense...but since I have no idea what is going on here along with just learning that magic is real....I'm fairly certain I would have been a terrible teacher" trying to make light of the situation along with calming himself down. "So...what do you both teach" curiosity in his eyes as he studies Thomas and glances at allison. He wonders what else he would find out about himself and this area. He has not noticed the other student yet.

Dar remained silent as the two people left the office, watching them walk down the hall, "Guess that's our cue." he said to Aura. She moved her head so he was able to stand, stepping forward and knocking on the door, "Excuse me, Lady Violetta? I'm sorry I'm late, I had things to finish with before I could come here." he said, opening the door. He held the door open so Aura could enter with him, the dragon looking around as they both approached the desk, "She certainly has good taste in decor, I like her already." she spoke to Dar. He simply patted her head before taking a seat, Aura sitting on the floor beside him, now looking at the woman. She wasn't sure what to make of this woman, sure, she was in a position of power, and therefore important to the overall structuring of the academy as a whole; but whether she was capable was another story. For now, Aura kept her observations and thoughts to herself, only time would tell exactly what kind of person Lady Violetta was. "My name is Dar Knight, and this is Aura, we're both honored to be part of this academy. I'm sure you know this already, but my family is adept with Water Magic, and I am no exception. Aside from that, I have dedicated most of my studies at the old academy in the area of Creatureology in hopes of one day becoming one of the foremost experts in the field. I am currently researching the Aqua Dragon species, in the hopes that I can help to provide a better understanding of these rare and magnificent creatures for everyone." he told her.

"Welcome, Dar. My name is Lady Violetta.
I had no clue as to who was going to work with us this round. Allie will be back shortly. I had mistaken that young man as a very young teacher. Now you truly look like an efficient teacher. And no, I had no clue about you at all. I did not go to Lady Rosewoode's Academy. That particular academy has been destroyed. Allison was a student there however.

I came from Earth four years ago and started this Academy. I have learned much and I have much yet to learn. I am sure that you and Allison can help me. I have a few others who were drafted in. Each one is some kind of a relative." Mystique spoke.

Dar was somewhat surprised, though he could understand why Lady Violetta had no prior knowledge of his family and their activities on Earth, being here for the last four years and such. "I see, I guess I will have to enlighten you at a later date. I suppose the most pertinent information I can offer in that regard is we were the ones who discovered Aqua Dragons, and ever since their discovery, each Knight family member has taken one as a pet. Of course, it makes sense, given our affinity towards water." he told her. He scratched under Aura's chin, the dragon gently pushing its snout into his hand, "But I digress. I cannot wait to meet Allison, I'm sure we will have quite a few stories to swap in our free time. Also, I understand how difficult it can be to find good help, so I do hope to become a more...permanent member of your staff. As for what I would like to teach, I should think Water Magic would be obvious. I would also like to teach Creatureology, provided the position is not already filled?" he asked. "Creatureology? But why would you want that position? You're not exactly the world's foremost expert in the field." Aura said, lifting her head to look at him. "While that's true, taking the teaching position will allow me to gain even more knowledge on creatures of the world, along with the best opportunity to let others learn about your species. Do you understand now?" he replied. Aura tilted her head, gurgling, "Not completely, but then again, I'm still too young to fully understand humans and their behaviours." she said before returning back to being scratched.

"I'll have to tell about what I teach at a later time. Sorry Cal, but I'm sure Lady Violetta is expecting me to return to her office. Thomas here will be able to help you out though." With that being said, Allison went back inside and headed back to the office. She hadn't seen anyone who looked like they might be a teacher, though. Then again it was possible that she might have missed him or her in the most recent mix up. She opened the door to the office and walked in. "I'm back. Cal is with Thomas now."

Dar looked over the list, immediately dismissing anything to do with fire or heat, that was the last thing he wanted to deal with. He sensed Aura was interested and lowered the paper so she could read it as well, "What's this 'Dragonology' thing listed here?" she asked him. Instead of using his telepathic link, he spoke out loud this time so that he could be corrected if he were wrong in his explanation, "Dragonology is all about the study, raising, training, and from what I see here, the riding of dragons. It appears those taking the courses offered are typically dragon owners, like myself. So if I were a student, I would be taking this course to learn how to care for you. But seeing as how I know how to do this already, there is no need for me to take the courses offered." he explained to the dragon. "I see. Would you be teaching others how to ride other female Aqua Dragons?" she asked. He chuckled, shaking his head, "No, I believe the current instructor will be doing that." he paused for a moment before looking at Lady Violetta, "Of course, if said instructor did need a hand in that regard, I would be more than happy to help out." he added. Looking back at the paper, he made his choices, "I'd like to teach all four levels of Water Magic, both levels of Creatureology, both levels of Sound Magic if it's free...and I would like to assist in the instructor on dragon riding preparations, should they welcome the help." he said, handing the paper back. Aura pushed her snout against his cheek when he mentioned Sound Magic, "You mean...?" she started. "Yes." was all he said.

"Yes, Tom. that would be the way into the Academy." Thomas smiles then turns his attention to the Cal.
"Welcome, Cal, to Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts. This is Tom. Tom this is Cal. My name is Thomas and I am the head of the Draconic Arts program here. Lt's move off to one side in case someone else happens to Fall into the Academy."


"Please have a seat, Alli. Do you happen to know Dar Knight? He is the other teacher that I was expecting. He went through Lady Rosewoode's Academy.
I have given Dar a copy of this already. It is a list of all the classes that are taught here. We need to decide who is taking what. Perhaps Dar will want to help Thomas with the Draconic Arts as well as the two subjects that he has mentioned."

Cal nods to both, having calmed down quite a lot and is almost back to his normal self. He smiles at both and finds himself bouncing lightly on his feet, standing still with no stimuli is causing him to fidget. "...so...this falling through a painting thing...why?" he asks as he walks to the side. "And uh...magic is real huh?" He continues bouncing on his feet, finding now that he is accepting this reality he is actually excited. Until he realizes he might not get to go home. That gives him conflicting feelings. Maggie and his boss would worry, probably think that something bad happened to him. However, if he is able to show up after graduating or whatever from here they would take him back with open arms. He just hopes they don't worry too much. "What types of food do you have here" He smiles as his stomach grumbles a bit, making him feel like a human sized humming bird. He rubs his neck causing him to tilt his head a bit his ears being more visible then usual.

Tom turns to Cal: "Man, I'm just as c-confused as you. First I nearly d-drown to death, then I fall into a c-castle of magic, and now I'm s-stuck hereuntil I figure out how to g-get out! Man, this is turning out t-to be the worst day ever..." He places his hand on his forehead, bringing it up and slick his hair back until he reaches his back, at which point his hair pops back into it's proper position.

He heard the door open, Aura turning her head to look at the newcomer, "Dar! It's her! You kn-" "Hush now, Aura, I sort of figured it was Allison." he said, cutting off the dragon. Aura stood and approached the woman, lightly pressing her snout against the side of her leg once she joined the other two. "It seems Aura has taken a liking to you, Allison." he said with a chuckle. He looked over at her, "I don't think we ever really interacted at the academy, but I did see you around from time to time. I'm glad to be working alongside a fellow graduate." he said, giving her a wink. He turned his attention back to the paper, looking over the courses once more, "I also wouldn't be opposed to splitting up what classes we would teach. For example, Earth Magic, one teacher could teach say...level one and three, I could teach two, and another could teach four. Or something to that effect. I think it would make it easier on all of the staff that way." he suggested. He looked between the women, "Sorry, during the break, I thought of ways to make class teaching less stressful for the teachers. And with the structure the way it is here, I figured now would be a good time to bring this idea forward." he added. Aura returned to Dar, resting her head on his leg again and closing her eyes, "Tired Aura?" he asked. A light gurgle came from her, "It'll be awhile before this is sorted out, so why don't you lie down and rest?" he suggested. The dragon moved to a corner and curled up around herself, resting her head on her tail and falling asleep, "Sorry about that, she's still young and tends to get tired quickly." he apologized. "Now, where were we?" he asked.

"Hey, guys, just calm down Everything will be explained in Orientation. I'll ask Lady Violetta to have some snacks brought in but be prepared for a pizza party. Every kind of pizza will be served for you can create your own individual pizza.
This Academy is a lot of fun actually. Now we wait for our last student. Here, I'll just pop up a few samples for the two of you to nibble on while we wait. And we can talk together as well."Thomas spoke with a smile.

"I hate to say this but we lost the last class somehow. They just disappeared. We will have 3 Level 3 students and I expect 3 Level 1 students. I hope for more but that is all that I could see. What you have is a master list list of all classes. I'll get you the actually class schedule for this session."

Allison was greeted by a dragon soon after entering the room. It seemed the dragon's name was Aura. "Well hello Aura." Of course, Blaze, Allison's firecat who was sitting in her arms at the time was unsure of Aura. Blaze being an old cat probably contributed to that. She looked over at Dar and noticed she recognized him as well, though she never really interacted with him."I remember seeing you around as well." While listening to Dar's suggestion, Allison looked at the list of classes to choose from.

"I'm not opposed to that idea. I can probably teach some Air magic as well as some Plantology." Allison was going off of the fact that between the four basic elements, air happened to be the one she was best at. Followed by fire. She wouldn't mind plantology for the simple fact that she likes being outside. "And hopefully, we don't somehow lose the class this year." Allison had no idea what to think of that little bit of news from the headmistress at the current moment.

"From the way you two talk, I can give the other staff except Thomas the time off they wanted. I suppose it would not be to hard to split the classes up. I teach the four core elements as one class, the secondary elements as one class, ect.
I have various diagrams that can be used as well as a few kits which you might recognize from when you were in school.

I normally teach the third level except for the physical education part which another teach takes." Lady Violetta spoke as she sat down with her PLTs.

Cal smiles at the mention of food and keeps bouncing a bit. "Thanks...i tend to eat a lot...not idea why...its like i have a hyper active metabolism or something" He looks over at tom and stops bouncing. "you were drowning...geez" A look of concern crosses his eyes. "What happened?" he tends to strongly dislike bullies, having seen other kids bullied but never able to do anything about it since he was small. His hand twitches some, with his amount of energy its as if he subconsciously keeps moving. He does stop occasionally, when he is sleeping, eating, or sad.

Dar looked over at Lady Violetta, "I can pretty much go with anything listed here, with the exception of Fire Magic, I had a bad experience involving fire, so I tend to keep as far away from it as possible." he told her. He tapped his chin, "In that case, I don't mind teaching the lower level Water Magic classes, and I'm sure Allison and I could work out something in regards to the other classes." he said. He turned to Allison, "How about this? I teach Water and Earth, you teach Air and Fire, and Lady Violetta can teach the level three main elements? As for the secondary, I can do Sound. Are you able to do Cold?" he asked, "If not, I can always trade you for Sound, or we can split it between us. Either way is fine with me." He then looked at Lady Violetta, "Before I forget, I'm having a large container brought in from Earth in a few days. I hope your lake is deep enough for it's contents." he said. "It's for the Creatureology lessons on Aqua Dragons." he added, just to make sure he was clear on the subject. He turned his attention back to the paper, "Allison wants Plantology, which is fine with me. Maybe she should pair that up with Light Magic as well? I could do Shadow Magic, maybe Dark Magic as well, though I think that I would have to teach the level one class in terms of Dark Magic." he admitted. He continued to look over the lists while waiting to hear what the other two thought, along with what their opinions were. He wasn't entirely surprised to hear that the last class had been lost, after all, nobody said it was easy and not dangerous at the academy.
