Introductions
Shah was sitting on the point of Pride Rock, remembering how Mkuu's presentation had gone. The crowds seeing their future king without a mother must have been hard to watch. He sat there thinking about the past.
Mkuu came running out the den towards his father, getting ready to pounce on him.
Shah was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts when his son pounced on his back. He chuckled. "Hey, Mkuu. What you up to, son?"
Mkuu smiled playfully. "Practicing my pouncing skills on your back." He looked in front of him, seeing the lands that would someday be his.
Meanwhile
Kikatill had been pacing back and forth, thinking how the pridelands had everything while they had nothing but a barren wasteland. And the food? The only things for them eat were dead branches and the occasional mice and lizards. It was unfair to her. She then looked over to where she could see the pridelands in the distance, giving them a low growl. All those pridelanders need to die. She thought while staring at the Pride Rock in disgust.

Cheke
A young lioness walked across the desert. She was searching for some prey to eat. Her brown fur stood out in the sunlight. She managed to find some water, no luck on prey yet though. She bent her head down before lapping up some of the water.
