I finally got time coming! I'm gonna be off for about 40 minutes, then I'll finally be able to write. Gah, today has been crazy.

Of course it doesn't help that I've been waiting on replies for people for a few days, and they all decide to reply at once. I think they're conspiring against me. My list of replies just jumped up to 5. (Of course you're still #1, don't worry about that)

Alas, I'm not much of a DC girl. I liked Year One, and fuck yeah Static Shock, but I never followed any titles. I was going to jump aboard when New 52 started, but just couldn't get into it.

I do enjoy DC shows--Flash has won my cold, butter heart--and I'm thinking of checking out Legends, but I'll always be a filthy casual in DC.

Haha! My best friend feels the same way. He's gutted by my ambivalence. I'm thinking of picking up some Black Canary, if only for Annie Wu's delightful art. I love her use of line and facial expressions, and ahhhh, her colour palettes are always fucking incredible.

Best Friend Dean (as he is always introduced and referred to as) pretty much has the best geek taste ever. He's cosplaying as Blackwall in my Dragon Age group and even got my husband into Patrick Rothfuss. Husbandito like, never read books before meeting my bestie haha!
We've been best bros for 6 years now! He's already been assigned as the Godfather to mine and husbanditos eventual spawn, and with any luck we can get him to move back to Washington. He's like...the ultimate Hufflepuff. Good people.

But your friend sounds awesome. I'd love to have someone like that near me. All my friends are still in another state. I moved away and abandoned them. Which they never let me forget. Of course all my friends kind of joined me in Slytherin... Yeah. That's us. Lol.
