I've written most of a Character Sheet, taking the position of Vanguard Captain, but can I ask what sort of recruitment drive the Warp Skulls have? Do they use a single planet or system? Or is there no recruitment, as they are no longer strictly loyalist?

@RoosanWe haven't fallen of the deep end yet. As a fleet based chapter recruitment = whatever Imperial world is nearby after a fight, we take all their kids

Remember lads, we have not gone chaos yet and likely won't be embracing it for a good long time(or at all, all sorta depends on us) we are at the start of the fall, aside from rampant mutations and non-compliance to the codex we are still loyalists

@agentmanateeYes, I originally started writing a much more heretical character and then reread some of the info you provided and realised my mistake. That said, my character is shaping up to be something of a power hungry careerist, so perhaps he'll end up being one of the marines that push for even more deviation from the codex.

@agentmanateeNo problem, and yes, I know. The character's justification is that he'd be much more useful to the Big E as a commander, so whatever he does to raise his own rank is really just serving the God-Emperor of Mankind and therefore cannot be wrong. I'm thinking that if and when we have some encounters with the ruinous powers, he'll see an opportunity for even more power (to serve the Big E, of course) and go after it full throttle. And on and on until eventually it becomes about power for its own sake and not to make sure he can serve the Imperium better.

If he lives that long, of course...

Well fuck, I would have played the ad-mech if I'd known you wanted them around so much... I even have a ad-mech dude drawn up somewhere... He's from a different part of the galaxy, though, so I guess it might not fit...

@SarpedonNo I wouldn't say we HAVE to have them, but currently Lord Coake is the lone admech, and I feel it'd make things easier if we had a couple more admechs
