Great posts all, nice freakin' collabs. I like how everyone is thinking in this battle, this is a good sign. I'm currently preparing a response myself, but I do know that @Rockette has mentioned posting so I want to allow her to get a post in as well before I reply with another big development. I'm writing it in advance this time though so all I'll have to do is add a response to whatever Rockette posts and it should be complete.

Again though, I'm loving these characters.

Quick announcement: As of Saturday (March 12), I'll be gone for about two weeks to visit some of my girlfriend's relatives in Mother Russia; that means I almost certainly won't have any internet access whatsoever until I'm back (not because of Russia but because of the relative's internet situation). We'll be back on the Easter weekend but since those are national holidays here in Germany, I probably won't be able to do anything on the forum or even catch up on what I'm missing until after (think March 29).

So, assuming that the next round is commencing sometime before Friday afternoon (European time), I'll be able to get one last post in. If the fight isn't over before I leave, you, @icmasticc, can injure or plain knock Nicholas out or just have him be idle. What could I possibly miss in two weeks' time, right?

@JulienJaden - Thanks for the heads up. The fight will more than likely be over by the time you return, but this is our first major combat scenario so you shouldn't miss another one in the time you're gone. However, you might miss out on being able to reply to the dramatic conclusion of this particular fight though.

I think there's a good chance we lost a few people, but even if we lost all the people who haven't posted IC in three weeks, there's 4 of them, we'd still have 7 active characters. I dunno, getting new people to join mid-RP when we're not dying for more characters seems like more trouble than it's worth.

My two cents is all.

I did notice the people we lost and, unfortunately, that comes with the territory. As Luminosity so kindly pointed out however, we still have a pretty decent amount of active characters and I agree that we're not really hurting for new ones at the moment. It always sucks to lose people, but our situation isn't as bad as it could be considering we started out with a fairly large group. It may even flow a bit better with a couple less characters so it may not be all bad. I haven't officially kicked anyone though so if some of those people decide to return, they'll be welcome if they catch up on the IC.
