"Of course I am." Kili scoffed angrily, not looking at her. "But what does it matter to you? I thought you were with your new friends."

Bard looked at the mountain, then back to the she-elf. "We wouldn't. What gold is in that mountain, is cursed", the bargeman simply said to her in light grim. "We only take what was promised to us, and use it to rebuild our lives", he continued after picking up some sticks from the ground, and hands them to one of the Lakemen. "We head for Dale; we can take refuge there", Bard told the people nearest of him.

Saeril looked up in his direction, as he never looked at her. Sighing, she only moved towards him until she was about a few feet away. "New friends?", she echoed. "Who said all of them were my true friends? Only a few of them were", the she-elf answered him, but knew it was going off the point. Looking down at the ground, she thought for a moment. "I thought of you, Kili. Many times, I have, and I realized something", the she-elf paused. "I regretted it", she finally said. "Because, you're my new and true friend, amralime (my love)", Saeril spoke to him, ending with the same word in Khuzdul from before. She hoped that he would hear her out...
