As for inter-magical girl relationships, that is something that would have to be decided by the girls in question. You can honestly just talk about it in the OOC, if you'd like. There's no particular need for you to do it privately.

I live in a town of 120.000 people and i could not for the life of me tell you what everyone does in it. There are neighbourhoods i've never been too, streets i've never walked down, and i've lived here all my life. Danzig, as wikipedia could tell you, is a city of 366.730 citizens.

And as @PlatinumSkink has been so kind to point out, half of us don't live in this city. We've moved here on trips or travel as magical girls. It's the mother of all freak accidents that all of us ended up where we did.

True. But you probably WOULD be aware of each other if, say, you all had a mutual friend (Kyubey) and worked the same job, competing over the same prey. At least to an extent. Even with a steady population of witches, you would probably bump into one another enough that you would be familiar after a month or so.

I don't think there's a single character on out squad of flying teen witches (With the notable exception of Mary Beth) who wouldn't try to either kill or befriend another magical girl.competing for the same job as them, fighting the same battles as them and eating the same food as them.

And either way, that encounter is not going to end in a boring way. It's not going to be quiet, forgettable, or uninteresting. This would be good material for actually roleplaying, so trying to hide it or discourage it with a blanket statement like "oh, they probably already know each other" seems like a misguided move at best and actively malevolent at worst.

Regarding knowledge about magical girls; at a basis, there'd be passing knowledge in the form of rumors and such. Just word getting around, but nothing detailed or specific. Anything more than that is the responsibility of you guys to come up with. However, should you make up relationships, do so in the OOC. There's no point in using private messages instead.

I'm still figuring out what to replace Julia's powers with, since her original one was a no go. I was thinking about continuing her crushing theme with something like gravity control or telekinesis, but I have no idea if those are considered "Madoka-like" powers. I also checked up on Rebellion, and Nagisa uses shape-shifting magic there, so it shouldn't be considered weird for Julia to use that.

Edit: Oh, and there's still the ??? Despair that you rolled for me.

I don't think you understand fully. Nagisa was a witch and a magical girl at the same time. She appeared as a witch in the first place to fool the incubators. It wasn't her ability as a magical girl, but rather something she could do since she was there on behalf of magical girl jesus. Sakaya was the same, and uses her witch form like a stand.

You can go for gravity and telekinesis sure, but they don't seem to fit your character. Perhaps there's a better option for you that involves less editing.

Hmmm well, I think perhaps something to do with the idea of change rather than changing her body itself. Maybe instead of turning her body into animals, maybe creating and communicating with them. That'd be a bit more Madoka like, though it may be very close to a Witch making familiars. Could be very interesting if executed well.

Summon magic, huh? Hmmm...Julia's more of an honorable solitary fighter, so it's hard for me to imagine her relying on others to fight for her; she would consider it a cowardly move. The concept of change interpreted as outward manipulation of other beings doesn't fit her style, to be honest. Maybe something involving the change of her environment?
