@Prince of SeraphsIs it normal for a blacksmith and some other civvies/untrained militia to stand ground against an orc charge and for the said blacksmith taking 15 of them out. Cause my idea of an Orc is a massive pile of muscle with thick skin who can easily rip a man's limb off without any real effort.

If that's not the case, I guess I'll have to make some edits.

Obviously not all orcs look like that, you do get some skimmpy ones and such but any orc that would be participating in an orc charge would look something like this:


Not something I'd stand my ground against but that's just me. Would altogether depend on what the civvies were protecting. If their homes and families were at stake I could see them standing their ground. Fifteen kills seems like a bit much but she could be exaggerating.

I am an actual blacksmith so you all know. Most blacksmith hammers don't go above 5 lbs and that's still heavy for the craft. She uses an 8 lbs hammer on a regular basis for her craft, and has and uses hammers that go up to 12 lbs. She is strong. It's not as heavy as most maces, and if she's fighting, I'd imagine her using something heavier. But when I say she can fuck shit up if she had to I mean it.

I was thinking the Orcs were human like kinda like Skyrim, not that impressive so no I didn't add it. Seeing what they are, yeah I would have. @Prince of Seraphs plus I never saw anything about how they fought. Plus I did say she has kill many orcs.

There are orcs of most shapes and sizes but those that would be in an Orc charge would be the giant orcs. Think Scottish highlanders vs normal English soldier. You wanna run for that.

Killed many orcs is a very different thing from surviving multiple or charges and racking up a kill count. I figured she may have gone toe to toe with small raiding parties or single orcs. Not entire armies.

Evidently I've been too vague about a number of things that I should have made more explicit. I figured concepts like elves, orcs and dwarves would be fairly standardized. Clearly I was wrong. I'll spend this weekend updating the original post with the various towns and regions of Valeria as well as a more detailed depiction of the various races.

Would a number between five and ten be fair, the actual number unclear because of the chaos, and the only reason anyone in the refugee group survived that first charge is because a group of Stormbringers arrived and rescued them?

@Saint Girralo if a couple were on the smaller side. The issue isn't how many orcs she's killed but that she killed them all at once. An intervention would make it more plausible. Long as they were trained Stormbrungers from Servant's Hill as opposed to the kind we have in the bar.

The size of an Orc charge would vary from charge to charge. I'd say for every three people of they're target town one Orc, so at bear minimum around thirty.

I believe I said this early but Veiron had a population of around 150,000 and if that two to three hundred escaped. Less than 0.2% Survival.

This is a pretty vast world and while our characters should be interacting the probability of 6/8 ending up in the same bar seems rather low especially considering we all carry the mark of the demons and those that actually survived Veiron were maybe two hundred of a city that housed almost a hundred fifty thousand.

With all that raw strength I would assume they would. I would expect it to be on cavalry charge type of threat.

Ok, she's thinking about some of the battles against some of the smaller orcs, she's still managed to kill a couple of the big guys, but that's once she settled in Vi'Zur where they could dig in and actually have some sort of defensive line.

Unless that defensive line suffered some major losses, I'm pretty sure that means that your character simply bullshitted quite a bit.
