We did name the roommate, her name is Sarah and she always forgets her keys. And yes, you may mess the eye up, but what makes you think it's a him? XD

So I went with the blood bond for mortals drinking vampire blood from 'tru blood' (or something slightly similar) and something slightly akin to Tremere thamaturgy from VTM

No, sorry I don't. And he didn't recommend I watch it because I didn't deal with 'monsters' very well so I just didn't watch and haven't felt compelled to do so since.

So what vampire movies/shows have you seen?

Ultra Violet. Most of what I know about vampires is from research I've done via books and internet so I'm more familiar with the old lore and the new stuff.

Alright, I can tone down the vamp magic then, if you want a more realistic thing. Or can go the full blown -change into a bat- type vampire?

I usually base my vampires loosely off the rpg 'vampire the masquerade' where there are different clans with different abilities but they all work off spending blood.

P.S! You need to watch some vamp shows, start with 'interview with the vampire' then follow up with 'queen of the damned' ;)

XD Changing into a bat is considered a classic trait so yes, if you'd like him to turn into a bat, he can. And the magic is fine, just keep me in the loop.
