"So, let me get this straight. You could have gone to anyone for help. You could have. . .paid off some Huntsman that had strayed from their righteous path..."

Wait, another RWBY roleplay? I certainly missed out on "Monty Day" (Feb 1st), but as a tribute to him, I decided to go ahead and attempt to play this one roleplay idea that's been haunting my dreams for years.
This roleplay will focus on Fallen Huntsmen, those who broke their oaths to safeguard humanity and keep the peace. Setting will be canon-based, comparable to how Marvel's Netflix series (Daredevil and Jessica Jones) acknowledges events from main MCU films, but maintain their own solid stories. So really, though we're using canon settings, we're not going to directly impact or change anything from what we've seen so far in the series, but rather introduce an idea that could be possible in Remnant.
Afterall, Adam Taurus does mention to Cinder how she could have employed the services of stray Huntsmen. Who said she never did? ;)
What's in store:
- Freedom. Sandbox? Taking after several wonderful RWBY roleplays I've seen in the past, I've learned that having the ability to build your own futures is a beautiful thing. Of course, there will be a main storyline, but unless a call to action is made, your characters can live their lives however they please. The only person you would answer to is...me.
- Speaking of storylines, this will be driven by Missions. Much like how in the world of Remnant, our own fallen Huntsmen also network through hidden Mission Boards, the ones that involve assassinations, kidnapping, terrorist attacks, and even setting up a Grimm invasions. To avoid cluster fucks, more than one mission could be taking place at the same time.
- You will be playing Huntsmen who have strayed from their righteous paths. Academy dropouts, those who see better profit by lacking a moral compass, and even the ones who think they can make the world a better place by burning everything to the ground. I'll expect mostly adults, those seasoned/experienced for combat (at least 20s). You're all essentially mercenaries. NO MORE ACADEMIES. School's out.
- This is gonna be dark. You thought losing an arm, the plight of a maiden, and getting swallowed whole by Grimm is dark? Well, I'm taking you all to the void. Question is, how deep will you go?
Questions? Comments? Concerns?
Oh, a Co-GM would be nice. Sorry, there's only OneWayOut to this.
