Since no one wants it, I'm planning on writing a post now and going ahead with my idea. I also have a long-term plan for it, so this might just prove useful xP

@Skyrte Since metallurgy is really close to BBeast's, and I want to expand on the diversity we have, do you reckon you have anything else in mind?
If you are really stumped and aren't interested in anything else, I guess you can go for it, but if you can think up something that we're missing, that would be great.
And yes, a god and a demigod can have the same Portfolio, but upon ascension there will be a clash and they will have to fight for their territory.

I can rework it to be a Demi of Metalworking and Woodworking.

For Metalworking, he would have the skills for being a Smith, Jeweler, and Founder. In Woodworking he'd be able to do Carpentry, Carving, uh... Furniture. That sort of stuff.
So he'd be production of things, but he'd still need to go out and get the materials the old fashioned way. Sound good? I'd like to keep it in the same vein as making things.

@Cyclone I don't recommend Zeph interfering, particularly considering his lack of MP or FP. Besides, he wouldn't really avert the disaster he'd just change the scale.

There are plenty of deities, Belru included, who can stop it and some of them actually have motivation to do so. It would be better for the narrative to leave it to one of them.

As far as I can tell, that would be two Portfolios and no Domain. The Domain is an umbrella which the portfolio comes under, so it'd be something like Crafting (Carpentry) or Crafting (Smithing).

Essentially, you want to be a demigod of the Crafting domain _{(welp, there goes my monopoly)}, desired portfolio of Metallurgy/Smithing/Metalworking (they're all basically the same thing). Kho is saying that this choice (basically, anything in the Crafting Domain) has very strong overlap with Teknall (who is a Crafting (Masonry) god, planning to expand into (Carpentry/Woodworking) and (Metallurgy/Smithing/Metal Working), and more).

If your heart is really set on Crafting (Metallurgy), then you can. If you take that portfolio, Teknall shall be your demigod's father (who else would it be?), and he will take you as his apprentice. We just need to figure out a mother.

I'm actually set on Crafting (Smithing), I'm not as big on Metallurgy. So I'll be making a Demi of Smithing.
But yeah, I know that it's under Teknall's thing, so I figured as much that Teknall would be the dad. No idea who the mother will be, though.
