Only sentient things with a soul will be in his order. And when more sentient creatures are being created, he will try to compose his order out of all beings. Also, so far there aren't really any monsters or people that won't die. Yet, when those things spawn (the elementals seem to be the first ones, he doesn't mind White Giants because they don't have a cycle) he may start making the Order, lead by his first hero.

@Frettzo Do you think the university will continue being able to function / your degree will still be useful to you after you graduate, in or out of your home country? Is very bad news if your education is messed up before you can complete it and put it to use finding some stability.

Don't worry about that, man. This stuff has been happening since early 2014. Everyone's pretty used to it by now and at worst, the University will suspend classes for a little while and then carry on as usual.

What's the point of heroes?

I get them narratively (that's why I have one) -- but what do they do that gods don't do better? -- I have a similar problem with avatars, too.

So here's crazy thought: God Rounds. For a week or so, all posts from people must be made in reference to life under a specific deity. Maybe for Zephyrion, someone could wrote about the Wind Elementals, someone else could wrote about some farmers toiling the soil and watching his Citadel pass over head, someone could do something with a cult or worshippers on a mountaintop dancing in a storm. Stuff like that. And each round we can see how the other writers see each God or want to explore more 'mundane' views towards thenlm.

It's an intriguing idea, but wouldn't work so well on some of the gods. What happens on Logos week? All the Galbarians wouldn't know him, though I suppose I could have Zephyrion think really hard about whether that guy deserves an invitation to his party.

On the contrary: it FORCES you to write something out of the box. I can't keep writing about Logos's Orders, Hall could do things other than Vulamera, and so forth. It let's us explore the mundane in the ways we wish, instead of writing from the perspective of gods all the time.

We've created a world. Let's start exploring it.

@Cyclone Write from the perspectives of the humans on Logos's planet. Or for Slough, write as one of the creatures in her domain. Or maybe as a Hain in the forest who spies the Ever Rotting Stag.

It's not be constricted to the mortals. Just perspectives on our gods from something than us being divine.

We can't just sit down and leave the planet as it is. Even if we chose to stay in the stone age -- we'd still want to add stuff (or at least, I do).

In terms of writing from a non-divine perspective -- that's what I was going to do anyway. Goathead Magi and Hollow Men need to be summoned by mortals, after all...

Then add anyway. You can still add make regular posts, but also slip in something for that weeks theme.

Not suggesting something mandatory. But I am trying to add a little something something for more flavor and make us breach our comfort zones.

I think @Dawnscroll is onto something. It could be an optional thing, where you can choose to participate or not. I know I'd enjoy writing from the perspective of the lesser beings. Writing from the God's point of view can be extremely boring after a while, considering they're pretty much all-powerful.

@Dawnscroll That is interesting. I don't really have a problem with that as long as we really have the choice on the matter. Some people might not want to do it while others could very well go all in while writing from the mortals perspective. I for one would try this at least once even if you hadn't made the suggestion anyway. :)

I don't think the issue is optionality. It should be about length of content. If a paragraph or two is enough, then that's easy to have while also creating stuff.

@Fabulous Knight I'm saying stick with a theme each round/week. Those who decide to partite get like, a free point or some other little trivial incentive. Let's people explore things because even if they're not hellbent on it. Jvan creeps me out; I think it would be interesting to be someone reading about her in a dusty library under candlelight, like an old Cthulhu. But it might be tricky to bring myself to step out of my usual zone.

@Legion02 Already said that. We have alot of new and amazing creatures: would love to see a day in the life. Lots of new ecosystems and terrains too.

@DawnscrollYou keep talking about stepping outside of your comfort zone -- I don't think we need an incentive-system to encourage this. We're able to do that without one.

I don't think anything more than a few paragraphs is a good idea at this stage. When we've made more -- when the world's established; yes. Then it will be good, and interesting, to play with the setting.
