In other news concerning Jvan, she has just been bitten by an ant. This is a great display of mercy from the ant, because it could have chosen to sting Jvan. That would not have ended well at all.

It would have been very painful for the poor flesh :| (The site is a bit random, I think they're religion bashers or something, but the info is interesting)


Animal:Sweat bee

Description: Light, ephemeral, almost fruity. A tiny spark has singed a single hair on your arm.

Animal: Fire ant

Description: Sharp, sudden, mildly alarming. Like walking across a shag carpet and reaching for the light switch.

Description: A rare, piercing, elevated sort of pain. Someone has fired a staple into your cheek.

Animal: Bald-faced hornet

Description: Rich, hearty, slightly crunchy. Similar to getting your hand mashed in a revolving door.

Description: Hot and smoky, almost irreverent. Imagine W. C. Fields extinguishing a cigar on your tongue.

Animal: Honey bee and European hornet

Description: Like a matchhead that flips off and burns on your skin.

Animal: Red harvester ant

Description: Bold and unrelenting. Somebody is using a drill to excavate your ingrown toenail.

Animal: Paper wasp

Description: Caustic and burning. Distinctly bitter aftertaste. Like spilling a beaker of hydrochloric acid on a paper cut.

Description: Blinding, fierce, shockingly electric. A running hair drier has been dropped into your bubble bath.

Animal: Bullet ant

Description: Pure, intense, brilliant pain. Like fire-walking over flaming charcoal with a 3-inch rusty nail grinding into your heel.

xDD enjoyed interacting with them very much, would have gone into greater depth were it not for time constraints :\

And xDD I knew it was far too close, but there was no other wind-related word which closely rhymes with 'sear' and 'dear', so it had to be 'Zephyr'.
Not sure to what extent I have control over Zephyr (do we control elementals like any other sentient species?), seeing as he's a powerful djinni, so I tried not to mess around too much with him.

Sheer rhymes perfectly, if you truly want to edit. It also makes sense given that you can say 'a sheer wind', the elemental's vaporous form was sheer, his cage was upon a drop most sheer...

How fitting. Out of the sheer niceness within me, I'll also say you can have full control over the guy. You portrayed the air elemental as well as I could've.

Being trapped whistling inside of some cage wouldn't have done him many favors over the countless years; however, while I've avoided any steadfast rules, usually if the elemental gets referred to as a djinn then it's pretty powerful. This one has displayed the ability to pick up Toby and take on a humanoid form, so it could reasonably be compared to Atmus, our windy bastard who died in my last post after receiving only part of one line
