@Kho The president got impeached, which is understandable since she was irresponsible with the economy, but it was done in such a shady way and by even shadier people, including her vice-president. And you know, a vice-president working to get the president out is messy and bizarre.
So, vice-turned-fulltime president gets the chair... and brings in the opposition, who lost the last election.
Then he picks his ministers and the talks of "what they are going to do" start...
>Cutting down public healthcare (With the Health department now under a congressman who had his campaign paid by the largest private healthcare companies)>Public Universities with fees>Cutting down pension plans and setting up a longer time until retirement>You no longer need to have an "environmental license" to build a large-scale construction (only a year after we had a freaking large environmental disaster due to the company not following the environmental laws of the state>Almost got a creationist in the Department of Science >Then cut down the budget of the D. of Science by fusing it with telecommunications>Ended the D. of Culture and Media and the D. of Human Rights>The D. of Agriculture is now under a dude who hates Native Americans, National Parks and anti-deforestation laws, yet loves the possibility of the flexibilization of the law that defines what is considered "slave labour">No, seriously, see the quotes: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blairo_Maggi>The state-owned channel is now broadcasting religious cults>The D. of Justice is now under a guy who cracked down riots violently in his home-state>Who believes that not all rights can be absolute>Who justified the fact he was so light on his state's governor (previously part of the opposition, now part of the gov body) scandals with "They are not corrupt, the (ex)president is".>He will no longer give autonomy to the public prosecutor or the federal police, like the last, impeached, the government did. That was, by the way, the only reason why the large anti-corruption investigation called "lava jato" started.>Lava Jato is what weighted the president down since it jailed some key members of her party>Yet, fun fact, the current President and his cabinet have even more tangles with Lava Jato's discovered scandal. With 7 of then under investigationNaturally, people are not happy, except the ones who are "happy" to no longer have the left and its "vile cultural marxism" on power. Just yesterday the congressman took down the law that allowed transgender people to use their new names on documents, and that is not a crisis decision to avoid spending money, in fact, it will cost money to issue all those documents again.
