@Hygswitch You're nearly there. Must say your dedication to reading all the posts is bloody admirable. I've never come across anybody in any RP who has ever done that (at least, not for a 12 page RP)

@Kho neither have I seen or done this. But It's been some time since I found an RP that intrigued my quite like this, and for most stretches it's a better read than you guys realize if you ask me.
Zephyron in his pompousness is hilarious and I totally love to hate Jvans eldritchness, or see Toun grind himself to rubble on his own aspirations. Also this RP has the great advantage of being already established. After some time you really get sick of investing a lot of thought and time and love into a new starting RP and then seeing it grind to a halt without ever having picked up sufficient inertia to keep going.

Haha, I haven't gone back and read through the entire RP, maybe skimmed through it quickly after my exams. Generally I only ever read back through an RP after it has died, and I weep at the great loss ^^' so lets hope I won't be reading back through this RP for a loong time yet! *touch wood*

And agreed, Zeph is hilarious, and I find Lif and friends' stories very good too. I think this war is really bringing everyone together ICly (it always takes a war, it's a Divinus tradition now xD) so the way things progress after this war might be far different than they have been so far. Or maybe this war is not big enough...but having an extinction level catastrophe would not have been great either ^^'

There is, on the far northern edge of the Fractal Sea, a stretch of coast still marked by the number-perfect lines of bays and estuaries where the waters first drew their border, long ago when the world was young. And on this coast there is a lagoon, which is peaceful and still, good sailing in even the smallest rafts which hain sometimes string together upon which to fish. Stories say that it was not always so. Stories say many things.

The only story likely to catch the interest of the traveller is a simple one. Upon a slab of waveworn stone at the far eastern end of the water, there is a series of faint depressions that present themselves only to a keen sense of touch. On a few scarce days every year, when the six moons align their pull, the water rises just high enough to fill these markings evenly. Using the pale reflection of their light, these etchings can be read. It is said that they always read the same words, no matter the tongue or text of the traveller, but this is something one must see for oneself.

The extract is from T.S. Eliot's work Ash Wednesday, slightly edited. The teaser is for a long-ass trashpost I've been fiddling with in bursts for more than a month now. Currently all that's left to do is write an epilogue, edit out countless major character and plot inconsistencies, summarise, and format the damn thing.
