Amartía's mind would be a mental representation of whatever Sin he's hyped up on, so its always changing. I couldn't give you an excat idea.

Teknall's mindscape is, primarily, where he makes all his designs and inventions. His Workshop is merely an outlet. As I've hinted a few times before, he plans most of his inventions well in advance, and merely needs an opportune moment to create them.

To a visitor, the central point of the mind would be a flat floor of concrete, with work spaces and paper and filing cabinets and whatnot. This space would also contain interfaces for Goliath and Gerrik. Both would have large holographic spheres relaying what their Perception and other senses see, and Goliath's space would include control panels and an intercom.

But the most interesting part of the mindscape is not anything on this floor, but in the void surrounding it. The concrete floor has no walls or ceiling, instead opening into an expansive black void. Floating in that void is every single design Teknall ever devised, in full-scale model and annotated with floating hand-written text; from the element adamantine, to flint chisels, to the Stellar Engine and his Workshop, to nearly every technology civilisation could conceivably construct from the stone age to far into the space age, and quite a number of special projects which he may or may not ever actually create. New designs are added on a regular basis. To inspect any design, it will drift over to the central floor space, can be manipulated as though it were weightless, and expanded into an exploded model.

Perhaps Niciel's mind would be a peaceful paradise, a sprawling field of different-colored flowers, extending beyond the horizon, with a bright sun above, and just a single house in the middle of it all, complete with furniture and different rooms. I figure the house would be the place that Niciel was living when she was still a mortal, before she became Niciel. Inside the house would also be a single human female, which would be the mortal who had become Niciel.

The mortal in Niciel's mind would be rather empty, though, having a perpetual blank expression and performing the mundane tasks of a mortal housewife. Attempting to communicate with her would get you a stare, possibly a few words too, before she returns to her task.

I would write out other details, but this will suffice until a trip into Niciel's mind is actually made.

I wanted to make a post this week, but then someone made me build a GURPS character. Now I've got full time research coming up as well. Bleh, the next Toun post will have to go the way of Duke Nukem for a time.

I've since stopped adding to it, but up until I was maybe 13 I kept buying random gems and minerals to put into my rock collection. Damn I must've spent like four or five hundred dollars on it.

WERE YOUR PRETTY ROCKS WORTH THE INVESTMENT?

So my question is this: What would the inside of your character's mind look like?

Now that's a challenge since Astarte started out her life without even thinking. Over the years, she's slowly developed an actual thought process, but it's still in its early stages as of now.

Visiting her mind would once before have shown the visitor an endless void filled with random splotches of colors. Now those splotches of color show ghostly replicas of the places she's visited and the memories she's experienced, painted in an impressionist style.

It's all rather peaceful at the moment, with the people inside the paintings leading simple, fulfilling lives according to their cultures.

Some of the inhabitants are... Stranger, though. One shouldn't wander aimlessly in Astarte's mind, or the magical nature of the land will make you lose yourself in bliss... Or in torment.

For what it is worth, I always found the most child like of Sins to be Greed. Even when we are young, we develop a strong sense of 'Mine' and it doesn't matter if those things might belong to other people. The concepts of sharing and 'other people's property' have to be taught after all. Wrath is a close second, normally when the child doesn't get what they want.

So my question is this: What would the inside of your character's mind look like?

Those entering Farxus's mind will find themselves on the shore of an underground river. While there is only the light of a single, humble fire on the shore of the river itself, one can see around them as if it was a moonlit night... through the sheer size of the cavern results in the roof and anything more then fifty feet around the viewer hidden by shadow. The river itself is ever moving, but at such a slow pace that the viewer couldn't be faulted to harshly for believing that it was standing still. The waters themselves are perfectly reflective and will reflect any image that is presented to them. A sign of how deep they truly are. One cannot help but feel that diving into the waters of the river would be the last thing you would ever do; Not as a threat, but simply as a promise that you would be lost and never return.

There is a strong aura of calmness and... comfort to this place. A feeling that after traveling a long way, you are almost back home. Along the river glides a small boat, guided by a bipedal hooded figure wearing a black cloak. While it is impossible to tell who the figure is or even what it is by appearance or tone of voice, the figure presents themselves as polite and friendly, willing to hold something of a discussion with the viewer for a time... but never for long before he starts to make his way back to the unseen other side of the river. They will never tell what is on the other side of the river.
