Cooper smiled at Marcella, proud of her friend and glad that she was helping other Metalhearts. She met her eyes wander around the room until they landed on Lila, and she saw a ring on her left ring finger. She grinned excitedly and playfully pushed Lila's shoulder to get her attention. "What's that ring all about?" she asked gleefully.

At first, Lila was confused. She raised her left hand, looking at her ring finger. "Oh...that..." she said, her face as red as a tomato. "Um...well...decoration?" she lied, beginning to sweat. She didn't want Cooper to know about her and Alice. She didn't want anyone to know yet.

Cooper took the hint and just nodded, grinning cheekily. "Sure, if you say so." she said. She wondered what Lila was hiding; who wa that special someone in her life? Little did she know that the "special someone" was the motor carriage she was being asked to fix.

Max was glad he could help his friends, even though he has to deal with Black Rose, he can still do good.

Lila let her arm dangle back at her side. Her face became slightly less red and her sweating had stopped. She then took a deep breath and went back to smiling. "Anyway, now that you're off work, would you mind checking out my carriage?" she asked politely. "It's outside of my apartment complex, on Archway Avenue. You can start heading down there. I need to talk to Max for a minute. I'll catch up." she said.

"Oh, uh, sure." Cooper said. She hopped off of the counter and started to the door. "I'll go grab my tools and take a look at it."She left the shop and went up to her apartment to grab her tools before heading to Archway Avenue.

Lila waved to Cooper as she exited the shop, then turned to Max. "Sooooo, Max...what happened go your leg?" she asked, sly smirk expanding to a pure unadulterated grin.

@Framing A Moose Max stepped close to her and said "if you want everyone else to be safe, you will not ask that question again" He then said "so go get your carriage fixed, I need to close the shop to head out for a job."

Lila raised an eyebrow as Max stepped foreword and attempted to scare her. Even with those frightful words, she couldn't seem to take him seriously. She spun around and walked towards the door. "I'll find out one way or another. If I weren't a driver, I'd be a detective." she then exited out the door. After a few moments, she opened the door again and popped her head inside. "That was a lie. I'd be a sucky detective." she then left once again. After about 15 seconds, she popped her head in yet again. "Oh, and tell me if you think of any leg puns. I've been thinking about it this whole time, and it's bugging the hell out of me." and then, she left, this time for good. She made her way to Archway Avenue, and somehow caught Cooper. She then pointed at a steaming/smoking carriage about a block away and said, "There she is."

Cooper had taken the back alley to get to Archway, which took a bit longer than the main road but she'd assumed that Lila and Max would talk for a little while. However, when she got there, Lila was just arriving at the same time from the other direction.
Lila's motor carriage wasn't the only one on the road, but it was clearly the most expensive and well-maintained. The others were rusty and, in some cases, about to fall apart.
Cooper popped the hood of Lila's carriage, which immediately erupted with steam. She fanned that away, and after rooting around in the machine for a , she looked hopefully at Lila and pulled a large wrench out of her tool belt. "The engine overheated, and the coolant hose slipped off. It looks like the hose just need reconnected and the coolant needs refilled."

A look of confusion was frozen onto Lila's face as Cooper spoke. She then whispered to Alice, "What in bloody hell is a coolant hose?" to which the machine made an odd sound that couldn't exactly be called anything. As it made this undescribable noise, more steam rose from the hood. "What the hell do you mean you don't know? It's your body!" she said, still whispering. The carriage made another sound, this one being a low humming. "Why's that?" another low humming sounded. As soon as it ended, Lila's face turned a red color. "Oh my..." was all she could say. She then turned back to Cooper. "Okay! How much would it cost for you to fix that?" she asked.

Cooper hadn't thought about payment; she'd already chalked this up to being just a favor for a friend. That said, she really did need the money... "Whatever you think is appropriate." she said humbly.

Marcella frowned as she overheard the exchange between Maxwell and Lila. His words were dark, threatening even, yet the cab driver remained unfazed as she left. The doctor crossed her arms and walked over to Max. The expression on her face was stern, reminiscent of a scolding mother. "'Just an accident', hmm?" She raised a hand to stop any further protest. "Tell me what what happened. What truly happened."

@Fubsy Max sighed and shook his head at Lila's reaction. He then heard Marcella's question. He clenched his fist and said "Let's just say I've gotten mixed up with the wrong people and they have serious power." Max looked at her and said "and this power is nothing to joke about, they could kill anyone they want and make it look like a accident." He put his hand on her shoulder and said "it's best for you not to get involved, I'm the only one they are interested in."

"Maxwell, you're my friend. If these people are threatening your safety, I'm already involved." She sighed and grasped his arm. "Please, tell me what really happened. What did you do?"

Lila shrugged. She had never needed to hire anyone to help with Alice before. This was actually her first problem she had. Lila hesitated before saying, "well, I've never actually done this before...what would you say is an appropriate price?"

Cooper thought about it for a moment. "Uhm... how does twenty marks sound?" she offered.

Lila hesitated, looking at the carriage, then back at Cooper. She knew she could cough up more than just twenty. But she decided she'd do it in a...more fun...and slightly cruel way. "That's not gonna work for me..." she paused, frowning. After a few seconds the smile crept back onto her face. "I'll give you forty marks, final deal."

Khalil finally arrived at the destination where Daniella was at, he sighed before walking out of the car and strutting his way towards the place that Daniella was in. As he finally got there, he'd ask for his client and was directed towards the dressing room. "Daniella! Your adorably friend is here. Hold your applause, kidding. But you should have seen my fabulous fashion-show. It was sooo good that you have no idea how many people went there. I was like, wow wow wow. I almost cried but I didn't, so don't worry about that. BUT ANYWAYS! I just heard your music and I -LOVE- it!" he'd say while twirling around the room with his beautiful dress.

@Fubsy Max looked at her and said "you don't understand, they need me alive." He then grabbed he arm and said "you and everyone else are the ones who are being threatened." He then walked a few feet away and said "They even threatened to kill Daniella." He turned to her and said "They swore to keep their distance from you and everyone if I build them stuff and they have kept their word."
