The idea is somthing that has been done already. It's an idea that I have always liked but never got around to playing due to wanting to create my own home brew world filled with all unique characters.
This RP idea is to explore an unexplored Marvel universe never before presented. One I made up with your help. What I mean by that is I want you guys to take on the rolls of the diffrent marvel characters but make them your own. So if for example I want to take the Spider-Man spot I could change his appearance, background, origin, gender and personality but would not be able to change or modify his powers. It would be the same with all the heroes and villains.
It will be a first come first serve style of recruitment but you only get the seat if accepted by the GM. So if two people apply for Phoenix then one will get it.
The events that make up the history of this universe are up to you.

Hmmm, think I'm at the point where I'm whittling down the bad ideas so I can get them out of my head, since my current idea is to take an obscure character and "modernize" them. In this case, Professor Gamble, and by "modernize" I mean "base him more on Peter Capaldi's Doctor than Tom Baker's". XD But I might come up with a more sensible idea later. Hopefully. ^^;

Then again I always seem to be drawn away from A-list characters when it comes to this kind of thing for some reason. Probably because I feel like there's less pressure and lower expectations if I'm using a less well-known character. XD

Yeah im thinking of doing either Spider-Man or Iron Man i have other ideas but those are my main two

Yes you can be villains.

Yes you can turn heroes into villains and villains into heroes. You can't change there powers but you can change appearance, personality, you can change the holder of the power, for example Peter parker dosent have to be Spider-Man. It could be Bob Smith, or Betsy Sue. It could be Bruce Banner that becomes Spider-Man , or better yet Harry Osborne.

I might try and see if I can get that idea to work, then. XD But I'm also going to see if there's any less obscure characters I think I could handle I guess. Since I guess we kind of need to fill out an Avengers roster really. XD

Yes and keep in mind that in this universe the avengers might include ghost rider, Iron Spider-Man, Juggernaut and ms. Marvel???? Who knows. ..
