There is a story, a fairy tale often told to children as a bedtime story. A story about a city, a city of wealth beyond your wildest dreams and magic the likes that this world had never seen before and perhaps will never be seen again: the city of wishes, La Ciudad de Fantasia. It is said that all who enter the city will have their deepest desire granted to them, regardless of what it was. Then one day it vanished without a trace. Some say that a wish brought its destruction, but then again, nobody knows. Regardless, the legend has only been remembered simply as that, a legend. That is until an announcement shook the world.

Now it is your chance to write your name in history. Go out, embark on your adventure and seek what it is that you desire the most.

Let's get the rules out of the way first.

General rules:

1. No bigotry or anything that would offend or make anyone feel unsafe. I will not tolerate harassment. Break this rule then you're out.

2. No God-modding, that goes without saying.

3. No auto-hitting, auto-blocking, auto-dodging unless there was consent from the other person.

4. Please be active! If something comes up that tears you away from this rp for a bit, please tell me. Real life comes first after all, but if you leave without saying a thing then it'll just make things awkward for me.

5. Keep your romances pg-13 or at least time skip it. There are children on this site!

6. Powers, arcs, plot devices, and characters must be approved by me. If you want to make more than one non-npc character then you must get my permission.

7. All plot related to the canon One Piece universe doesn't apply here. So there is no One Piece, Luffy, Gold Roger, and so forth.

8. There is a three strike you're out rule. If you break any of the rules three times, I'm kicking you out of the rp.

Personality: Amelia is a lively girl who always seem to have an innocent smile on her face. Her presence illuminates the room with kindness and welcomes people into her life with open arms. Her voice is angelic and speaks in a quiet tone most of the time. She would be the last person you'd expect a fight from due to her passive attitude. That is...until she gets a drop of alcohol on her lips. Then she would have a major personality shift. The happy go-lucky girl you knew would go into a drunken frenzy, smashing tables, breaking windows, and above all, she would have a frightening appetite. She is far more aggressive and rude in her drunken state as she will literally hit on the guys she comes across. When her buzz decreases, there's a small period of time where she is in between personalities thus becoming dull and boring, not even reacting to any comical attempts to get her to blink.

History: When Amelia was a little girl, all she could remember was the tavern she grew up in. She remembers serving food, drinks, and hung out in the kitchen watching her father brew some delicious ale. She has never met her mother before, but her father would always tell her that her mother was busy advertising their tavern across the seas. In reality, her mother was an adventurous pirate. Her father kept the truth from her hoping that she wouldn't become like her mother. The time came when little Amelia was old enough to sail out on her own. She wanted to spread her family's ale across the seas and find her mother so they can meet at last. Her dreams are to become the best brewmaster in all the seas and share a drink with her mother.

Weapon(s): Not technically a weapon, but she will carry a large pressure barrel of booze on her back to become a portable bar. The alcohol she stores in this barrel is meant to give her comrades a small buzz to help during combat. This buzz will help in reducing the damage they take while at the same time enhancing their physical capabilities. The only time it becomes a weapon is when Amelia becomes drunk and tosses it at anything that goddamn moves.

Power/Skill: Drunken Combat
Description: Amelia can only fight when she is intoxicated. Her strength and speed are enhanced along with reduced pain and numbness only in this state. She will feel the full effects when she is sober.

Techniques:

Drunken Step- A technique that's always being used during her drunken state. This causes herself to become harder to read visually by 'blurring' herself with rapid movements of her body. Whenever she moves, she leaves behind a feint after image of herself that disappears no more than one second.

Drunken Fists/Kicks- A simple kick or punch infused with haki for devastating results.

Drunken Palms/Chops- An alternative she uses whenever punches do not work since it gives a wider reach.

Drunken Toss- She simply grabs her target, spins around a couple times and tosses whatever she has violently into whatever the hell she wants.

Drunken X-Chop- Possibly the only long ranged technique she knows. She positions her arms out in front to form an 'X' and swiftly slices the air to send a nicely x-shaped wind blade at her opponents.

Other: Amelia prefers not to resort to violence. She is unaware of what happens during her drunken state. Amelia was born in the East Blue. At an appropriate/later point in the rp, she will awaken her Bushoshoku/Armament Haki.

No, wait, I'm supposed to be talking about my personality, right? Gotcha! I'm pretty easygoing and I'm friendly to everyone who doesn't share my last name~. Just know that if you are a Grimwald I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU~! What else... Oh! I don't like the government because they've been after the Grimwalds for a Looooooong time. Like, probably since my great-great-great-great-great grandpa was still in diapers! Cuz of that, they're after me too and it really sucks. I repay all favors, because, you know the saying "you scratch my back, I buy ya hookers." Except the ones from that island filled with cannibals. They eat people's balls of! That's a big no-no! I like to relax by reading books. Any book will do. Give me a porn book and I'll read it in its entirety. If not reading, then I play a mean harmonica!

History: I was a kid born with a different name. See, the Grimwalds give the name Rendaz to the "best" offspring. So, they pit the kids of the next generation into a sort of tournament to see who claims the title. Fun, no~? We're a proud family, you see. The Grimwalds are the one of the most deadliest assassin families in history. We name the "best" kid Rendaz after the first Rendaz. He was the best at what he does... sewing! Oh, wait, I mean killing! The best at sewing goes to my other great-great-great-great-great grandpa. He's not important. So after the first Rendaz, it became a family tradition to earn the title of "Rendaz" after the current one dies. Why? I don't have a fuckin' clue.

Now, originally, my older sister was supposed to claim the title, but seeing as ma and pa noticed that she was weak in their eyes, they had me! I was her replacement, and yet she did not care. My sister cared for me like any sister should. And she still trained like hell just to prove that she could be the next "Rendaz". The tournament came, and in the last round, it was me against my big sis in a fight to the death. Shocker. I didn't want to fight, but she went at me with the intent to kill! Holy shit! I had to defend myself! So I did so. I dealt the fatal blow. She died in arms telling me how proud she was of me and that she was sorry that gaining the title clouded what was most important to her. The only logical thing left to do was to let out my anger by killing the people that pitted me against my sister. I got seven of 'em - that includes my dumbass dad. I was damn good, but the rest got away.

I worked as a mercenary for hire after that. Mostly took up assassination jobs. Though, to this day I still look for the other Grimwalds. I can't wait to plunge my knife into their chest.... Ohohohohoho~! I look forward to that day. So.... uuuhhh... how's that for a resume?

Weapons: I have a sword, a few knives around my belt. And a pen. It's fun to stab people on the neck with a pen. I have a pretty sharp eye, so I carry two handguns on me too.

Power/Skill: Grimwald's Assassination technique for dummies... I forget the actual name. Apparently we're skilled enough to mask our presences and use that to our advantage. Pretty basic thing. We enter this state where our sense get enhanced as well as a few things like strength, speed, and stamina. It's called the "Grim State" apparently. Yeesh, who makes up these names?

Techniques:

Shadow Sneak - With a drastic increase of speed, I head for a strike with a sword or knife so fast I look like a silhouette when I pass by.

Cross Poison - I just... dip my knives in poison and slash in an X-formation. Pretty straightforward.

Scarecrow - I stab yer feet to the ground with my knives to sit ya still and shoot ya multiple times. Fun~.

"Not the Intended Use" - I aim for your neck and stab you with my pen. They always did say the thing to be mightier than the sword. Might as well put it to use~!

Personality:
Chirashi is a smiling happy kind of person, he tends to have a care free attitude about himself. His main things in life are his cooking and his relationships with friends and family. He is determined to make the goals of the man who took him in come true. He tends to step in during arguments, normally shoving food into the faces of those that would be fighting. He has his mean streaks him, those moments he lets out the former bloodlust built in side of him... but he tries to keep those restrained and reserved.

He loves to cook and discover new foods, always fighting to make a better meal than the day before. He lives to learn so to speak and seeks out new opportunities without hesitation.

History:
Chirashi spent a large portion of his life as a slave, being used for typical fishman labor. Being stronger than the average humans had its downfalls in that case. For many years he toiled in his own little world, moving things for his masters until he was old enough to fight. Once he reached his teens, he was taken and put into fighting pits for entertainment. He fought for his life, till the day that a pirate crew came rolling through the village. They destroyed nearly everything, but the main thing that they did, was set the slaves free.

Chirashi was only fourteen at the time and had no where to go... He was given a ride to the next island and left there, unsure of what he was supposed to do at this point. Most people hated him for his looks, he was a fishman after all and they weren't well accepted on that island, or a lot of parts to be fair. But someone did take him in, a man who couldn't see a thing in this world. A blind chef, who still managed to cook using his other senses.

This man couldn't see Chirashi's race, only hear his voice. He took the young teen in and taught him the ways of normal society. He beat the brute out of the boy and beat the chef into him. He taught him the ways of cooking in and out, making him cut and de-bone hundreds of fish, chicken, pigs... cows... he did it all until he knew the inside and outs of every cut, every fillet, every meat.

Things went well, he found out the old man was once an explorer, looking to find the best dishes from around the world, but... he ended up going blind and had to cut his dream short. So, Chirashi, as he got old enough decided to take it upon himself. He would journey the world for the old man, collecting every style of cooking, every ingredient every dish and he would bring it back. They would create The Grand Cuisine, cooking from the globe!

Weapon(s): Daggers and Knives (Ignore the blades... those are for later)

-Power/Skill: He is an agile fighter, mixing in blades to his combat style. He is also a top chef!

-Description: He utilizes an agile fighting style with strong blows and swift strikes. Mixing in bladed combat with kicks and punches.

Techniques:
Sushi Roll- Chirashi leaps into the air, spinning his body around multiple times before kicking the enemy.

Butcher Knife Combo- Chirashi utilizes his knives to slice at the enemy multiple times.

Wanton Beatdown- Using his speed and agility, he leaps around the opponent, striking multiple locations.

Mutton Chop- A strong chop to the opponent.

Flank Flank- coming in from a flanking position, Chirashi smashes both fists into the opponents back.

Sashimi Sizzle- a seven hit combo utilizing his feet and knives.

Other: He has a slave brand on his back, normally he keeps it hidden.

Personality: Barbert is a young man with a passion for haircare. What matters to him most is that a person’s hair is well groomed and well cut and he literally won’t stand for any affronts to this principle, whether they appreciate it or not. Speaking of which, a person’s hair will honestly be the first thing he’ll notice about a person if it’s visible, any other traits come as a secondary thought to him. Outside his hair obsession, Barb’s a fair, hard-working, and well meaning man, if a bit absentminded. He’s willing to give anyone a chance so long as they seem worth it, and he’s willing to go to extreme lengths if it means helping people he cares about.

History: Barbert was born to a marine barber of a father and a tough hairdresser of a mother, and raised in his mother’s hair salon on an island in East Blue. Barb’s father was out to sea for most of his life, but he nonetheless admired his parents’ profession and aspired to be a hairdresser even greater than them. The greatest, even. However, a rival to this dream appeared in Barbert’s teenage years in the form of a competing hairdresser’s daughter. As the two grew and developed their skills, they would often contend over who was better between each other. Eventually, Barbert decided there was little more he could learn by staying in his home and set sail to see what else the world had to offer him.

Weapon(s): Two metal scissors, two shaving razors, and a hand mirror.

-Power/Skill: Close Quarters Shaving (CQS)
-Description: A form of swordsmanship taught exclusively to barbers, as it utilizes their tools of the trade. Typically very short ranged because most people don't need to use colossal, made-for-giants scissors or razors. It emphasizes finesse and form over brute strength. While it can be used to maim, its primary purpose is to provide a quick haircut.

Techniques

Assume that all listed techniques can cut hair unless specifically stated otherwise.

• One/Two/Three/Four Inches Off: An extra powerful scissors swipe, often signaled by Barbert holding his arm prior to striking.
• Fade: A powerful jumping uppercut that uses the razor. Using two of them would make it a Double Fade.
• Back Fade: A Fade variation. As the name implies, it’s a Fade delivered from behind.
• Blunt Cut: A rapid spinning slash that can use one or both scissors.
• Point Cut: A rapid jabbing snipping attack that can use one or both scissors.
• Reflector: Utilizes the hand mirror. Doesn’t actually reflect anything except the light into someone’s eyes. Obviously does not cut anything.

Other: His father looks like this this fine man and his mother looks like this fine lady. (Because pictures of older looking ladies are hard to find for faceclaims.) His rival left for the same reasons not long after he did, but who knows if they'll ever meet again on the seas.
