"Alright. It's just that there's a lot on my mind" Larek said, changing the subject.

"Did I tell you I used to ride on his back as a girl?" Orna added.

Kos nuzzled her, but kept quiet.

"Normally, I'd prefer a colt, but like I said, you're family. I'd be happy to accept any horse in place of Niobe" Adykon replied. "She's a docile mare, but I haven't bred her yet. I'm not sure how she will react around a stallion."

Nyx nodded, "yeah" she said

tran shook his head, "not until now"

Sasha smiled, "I love you" she said, completely hapoy and at ease

"How about schools? Did we talk about picking a school for our child?" Larek asked, unsure if they did.

"I used to do that with Aura. Mother didn't like it, but father was okay as long as we held on tight" Orna told Tran, laughing at the happy memories. "He lost his mother many years ago and was stuck with that pet name a vampiress gave him. My father beat her and set Toby free all those years ago."

Kos was starting to relax himself, mentally as well as physically. "I love you too" he replied. "Heh, reminds me of a story I once heard."

"I see, I'll be sure to take good are of her Adykon. And Steele is a very sweet stallion, I'm sure they'll get along fine," Avera said.

"No, we haven't, not yet" nyx said, barely supressing a smiling, "he or she isn't even out the egg yet. We can talk about all this tomorrow, even make lists its late, and I'm exhausted"

Tran smiled, listening as she talked about fkying on the dragon, "well, Toby isn't such a bad name, and he sounds like a, uh nice dragon"

"Really, what story?" Sasha asked curiously

Adykon brought Niobe over to Avera, then got her reins and saddle.

Meanwhile, Caex fed some crushed grapes to Auryn. Aerta fed one of her own children as well, quite busy.

After a few minutes, she finally spoke "Sorry that we don't have much time. We had no idea our grandson would be coming over."

"It's fine, mother. Just... can we teleport a horse with the gate stone?"

"Yes, but it will take more energy. Remember, the stones have to recharge, but they do so automatically."

"How does that work, again?"

"They absorb ambient energy, such as sunlight or heat. I put limits on what kind of energy they can soak up so they can't hurt anything that's alive."

"Alright. We'll talk later" Larek said, also tired.

"He's nice, but it's very sad. He doesn't even know who he really is or what family he's from" Orna sighed.

"An old story involving a princess and a rogue. When the rogue was captured, she confessed her love to him, and all he said in reply was 'I know.' After she freed him, he finally confessed his love when they were attacked by enemy soldiers, to which she said the same thing to him" Kos said, smiling.

"Good" nyx hadn't wanted to sound like she was whining, but it had come close to tnat, she ckimbed into their bed

"Maybe one day he will be ble to find out" tran said

"I dont understand that. Why reply with I know?" Sasha wondered

Avera took Niobe's lead and looked to the house. "I didn't know hatchlings could try eating solid food a few days after hatching," She said.

[Aristocles]

"He has teeth, you know" Caex pointed out. "The food isn't very solid, either. I still have to crush the grapes and feed them to him one at a time. Anyway, did you pick out a mare?"

Larek lay down in bed and closed his eyes.

"Well, if there's time in the next few days, I'd like to got to his lair" Orna replied.

"Well, he was unsure of his feelings and unable to say them to her. She said that back to him as a joke" Kos explained.

Avera nodded. "Adykon said that Niobe was the biggest and she's a good, solid mare. Oh, when's her breeding season start?" Avera asked, turning to Adykon.

Nyx settled nd closed her eyes as well.

"We can do that" tran said, "I can have the farm sorted hy then. I want to try the new feeders I built anyway for the animals, and most of the crops are essential growing the, selfes" he laughed lightly at his own joke

[Aristocles]

"A month or so" Adykon replied. "To be honest, I'm better with goats than horses, but give her some time and she'll come into heat. I know that's a rather imprecise way of doing it."

Larek was soon fast asleep.

"Good to know" Orna replied. "Nice to see my dominant alpha male bull dragon has things under control in his territory" she said, laughing at the slightly redundant nature of all that.

"Yeah. Want some of the wine?" Kos suggested, reaching over to take a bit for himself.

Avera nodded again and smiled to Auryn. "How's he been?"

Nyx was asleep as well soon

Tran smoled, "just doing everything I can to give you a good home"

"Wine sounds good" sasha said

[Aristocles]

"He likes the grapes" Caex said, smiling. "But otherwise things have been quiet around here and Auryn's been fine."

"It certainly is a fine nest" Orna told him, giving him a little hug.

Kos passed her the bottle and a glass.

Tran held her close, "it is" he said, "our home"

Sasha accepted both, pouring herself a glass

"That's good. So I guess we'll visit my parent's home tomorrow then," She said, going over and tickling Auryn under his chin.

[Aristocles]

Auryn giggled a bit.

"Want me to hold him or do you want to take him?" Caex asked. "Then again, you'll be leading the mare in, so I'll hold him. We can still use the gate stone to take her back with us. I hope she'll take it well."

"We should test that first" Aerta said, getting up. She went outside, and, using her own magic, teleported Niobe and herself a few meters to the right, and then back. The horse was somewhat confused but calm. Aerta walked back inside. "She'll be fine."

"Most dracons would kill to have a place as nice as ours, and I mean that literally" Orna replied.

"How is it?" Kos said, tasting the red wine. It was a sweet wine made from a mix of fermented grape juice, honey, pepper, mastic, laurel, saffron, date seeds and dates.

"Well, they will have to get through me" tran said

Sasha tasted the wine, "its lovely" she said

"And I'm sure I can calm Niobe down if she spooks. You just need to be ready to get out of the way if I say," Avera said to Caex.
