[Aristocles]

"Oh yeah, I did. Auryn did too. I think the grapes I fed him gave him gas. I burped him and he's feeling better now. Nice to see you two."

Caex smiled and so did his son. Auryn squirmed a bit and let out some happy chirps upon seeing his Ryland and Aura.

"I guess Avera's outside" Aura replied.

"Yeah, she's got a mare for Steele" Caex said.

"So... you will dote on them?" Orna asked, slightly confused.

"We'll see Railing and Prudence tomorrow then" Kos replied.

"I will" tran said, nodding

"Great!" Sasha aid happily. She hadn't seen her eldest brother, and his wife in months, and she often worried how he was doing. So seeing them would be good for Sasha

[Aristocles]

"Hmm. Every girl needs to have a good relation with her father. I mean, the mother is a girl's main role model, but her father is her protector" Orna said.

"It would be nice to see my... brother-in-law. I can't believe I have in-laws now. Still" Kos replied.

"Yes, and how can I do that job well if I dont know, dont dote on our children" tran said

"It is jard to ger your head around it. I mean, one day no in-laws then the next we have several" sasha said

"That's good, Steele won't be so lonely anymore," Ryland said and smiled at Auryn's chirps.

Avera gave both horses fresh water and feed before going inside. "Alright, Niobe is settled," She said.

[Aristocles]

"Well..." Orna scratched her left foot with her right claws "... I suppose it's going to be a phase. I'm a bit embarrassed at how much attention I wanted from my father."

"Yeah, and more relatives when our siblings start having children. It's gonna redraw our family tree" Kos added.

"Want to hold him?" Caex asked Aura.

"Sure" she replied, gently taking her nephew. Auryn smiled a laughed a bit. "He has your horns, cher- er- brother" Aura said, playing with Auryn for a moment before handing him back.

Thinking of the new mare, she turned to Ryland. "Well, are you any good with horses?" she asked him.

"You shouldnt be" tran said, "I think its natural for a child to want a parents attention"

"Thats what happens when familkes come together" sasha pointed out

[Aristocles]

"Well, to a point. I was trying to get his attention all the time for a few months" Orna explained, embarrassed.

"It's going to be confusing. Imagine keeping track of all those names" Kos said.

Tram frowmed, "and he didnt notice?"

Sasha laughed, "maybe we should write them dowm"

Ryland nodded. "I grew up around them, my siblings and I have trained and raised several horses, Avera's probably the best at it though," Ryland said. "What about you? Did you do a lot of riding?"

[Aristocles]

"He noticed, but he didn't give in. Good thing, too. Had he given me more attention than my other siblings, I would have wanted even more" Orna explained.

"Good idea" Kos replied.

"A little bit" Aura explained. "I was never really into horses, but Orna and I loved to ride a dragon when he came over." She laughed a bit. "My mother would be so scared at that, but it all turned out fine."

Caex set Auryn down on a cushion, making sure the hatchling was comfortable and positioned safely.

"Right" tran said, he had grown up differently, when he wanted or needed his parents they were there. "I guess that somewhat makes sense"

"Maybe I can make a family tree out of fabric. That might be interesting" sasha said thoughtfully

"Maybe we can go for a ride soon," Ryland said.

Avera went and sat next to Auryn, smiling down at him.

[Aristocles]

"Sounds like a plan, now that we have two horses" Aura said.

"How's Niobe getting along with Steele? They just met, but I think first impressions are important, even for a horse" Caex said.

"My father was always there for me when I needed him, but he never doted on me like my mother did" Orna told Tran.

"I hope you have a lot of fabric" Kos said, laughing.

Tran nodded, "I was use to botj my parents "doting" on me I guess"

Sasha smiled, "thats the beauty about fabric. It csn be never ending if you want it tombe"

[Aristocles]

"Given how many siblings I have, it would be hard for them to do that" Orna replied.

"I guess that would be nice" Kos replied. "What sort of fabric would you like?"

"Fine so far, I'll put them out in the pasture tomorrow," Avera said.

[Aristocles]

Aura sat down next to Avera and Auryn. "I just noticed that the little guy's name is a lot like mine. Where does his name come from, anyway?" she asked Avera.

"Well,'yes that's true," tran agreed

"Hm. Something that lasts, but it easy to use" Sasha said

"It's a name I thought of while pregnant, I'm not sure what it means," Avera said.
