Ryland shook his head grimly. "That is why you never enter the kitchen while she's cooking unless you're helping or a child, then she just shoos you out. Otherwise, she's a very nice person."

Avera nodded. "What do you want with it?"

"Who is she, exactly?" Aura wondered. "A friend like that sounds... dangerous."

"Hmm. Some vegetables, maybe a few spices?" Caex suggested.

Sasha smiled, shrugged, "as far as inknow, most females are"

"It appears to be a interesting book" tran said

"She's Avera's friend, one of her first adventuring buddies and she can beat all of my brothers in a fight. Like I said, she's nice until you get in the way when she's in a kitchen," Ryland said.

Avera nodded and picked two vegetables, setting everything out. "Do you want to cook the chicken?"

[Aristocles]

"I see. A real pet peeve of her's" Aura replied, eager to change the subject, also not quite believing the level of skill a female would need to be that good in a fight. "How about your friends? Are they nice?" she asked Ryland.

"Sure thing" Caex said, getting ready to cook the bird.

Sasha smiled,"oh, well. I dont even try to"

"Shall we continue reading?" Tran askec

"Well, whatever you're doing, it looks really good" Kos told Sasha, smiling.

Sasha looked at him and smiled, "well, im glad then"

tran read this story, soon finishing it, "a good story"

"Sure, my friends are much less volatile than Avera's," Ryland said with a chuckle.

Avera took a knife and starting cutting up the vegetables, seasoning them once finished.

[Aristocles]

"Good to hear" Aura replied.

After a while, the food was ready. "Dinner time!" Caex announced as he finished setting up the table.

"Yeah, you look nice. I think it's the contrast between your normal skin color and your underbelly. Very nice" Kos replied.

"I like it to. Did you ever read a lot of stories growing up?" Orna asked.

Sasha had brown skin with a lighter, yellow underbelly, really quite plain. But then, she had never really known what kos had seen in her to begin with. "Its nothing special" she said

"With a teacher for a father?" Tran laughed, "we all read. That is, in between "play fighting" with Railing, chores and work"

[Aristocles]

"It's special to me" Kos explained. "I like the brown and the yellow. Like the soil and the sun."

"Heh. I hope you went easy on Railing. Or him on you" Orna added.

Sasha smiled, "I've never thought of it like that"

"He's two years older than me" tran said, "but he always made it seem like I was such a challenge" he smiled, "he always could easily beat me, but he never did. Railing.,, he has never been in anything for glory"

[Aristocles]

"Hmm. You know, they saw opposite attract. I'm the toughest one of my borthers, just as Nyx is the toughest of your sisters, yet she ended up with my 'sensitive' brother, Larek. At least, one of the 'sensitive' ones" Kos replied.

"Oh. Well, I hope you had fun with that" Orna said.

"Nyx tries very hard to be tough" Sasha said, "and yet, she was the first of us to fall in love. She is tough, but she is also...she is just pure Nyx" sasha laughed.

"We did" tran said

[Aristocles]

"Maybe her hard exterior hid something much nicer on the inside" Kos suggested. "You're nice inside and out."

"Do you both resemble your father a lot?" Orna asked.

"Nyx was determined to find Railing so she did what she had to to do so" Sasha said "but she has changed"

"We do, I suppose" tran said

"Both you and Nyx seem more relaxed, I guess" Kos answered. "What about Hermia? I haven't really spoken much with your other sister" Kos said.

"Yeah. Your father seems very fit for a teacher" Orna commented.

"Hermia has always been a nurture. She has always said running a home is a lot like running a kitchen" Sasha said, "she's...dependable"

"He's also a carpenter-or rather he essentially is. I learned how to build things from him after all tran said

"Good to hear. I'm sure you and Nyx were and are dependable as well" Kos replied.

"Sounds good" Orna replied. "So, want to keep reading the book, or are you done?"
