"He was an idiot. A rich, powerful, clueless idiot with way too much power" Larek said, yawning. "Even so, he was dangerous. You did well to stop him." As Larek climbed into bed, a projection of Aerta appeared. It floated in the air near the bed, appearing much like Aerta herself, save for a faint blue-white glow around its edges and the fact that it was somewhat translucent.
"Oh! Sorry! I'm not disturbing anything, am I?" Most dracons would have been surprised to see a projection suddenly appear in their room, but Larek was used to it. His mother had done this before, when he was supposed to have been doing his homework as a child. He had been sent to school for only a few years, with the remainder of his studies being taught by hired teachers or by Aerta herself. He had thought all children went through this until she had explained otherwise.
"No, mother. I was just about to rest, but I can stay awake if you need to speak"
