Sasha watched, then moved to the right

[Aristocles]

"Good!" Kos's fist didn't hit her. "Now, I'm going to swing again. I want you to duck this time. I'll go slow, as before."

Again Sasha nodded, "alright but how is this training?"

[Aristocles]

"It gives you an idea of what to do if this was a real fight" Kos explained, again swinging his fist.

[GhostWing]

"I'd really like to go riding for a little bit, you could come with me and we can let Ryland and Aura babysit the little one," Avera said.

[Aristocles]

"Sure thing. I'll explain the situation to them. Get dressed for riding and I'll meet you outside" Caex said, going to find them.

Sasha ducked, nearly falling as she did so

Avera grinned and went upstairs, dressing in riding clothes. Ryland had just finished his bath after his chores and sat in his and Aura's room, reading a page or two from a book.

[Aristocles]

"Careful there" Kos told her. "Hmm. Maybe you should do some stretches and find your balance first. I don't want you to fall."

Caex found his sister first. "Hey Aura."

"Hey. Anything new?"

"Well, there was a brief visit from mother, but, that lasted all of five minutes. Avera and I are going out riding. Could you two watch Auryn?"

"Sure thing, cherry-" he gave her a glare. "Yes, Caex. I'll watch him."

"Thanks!" Caex went to go change into his long pants while Aura went to tell Ryland, who was still reading.

"Balance will come I imagine, once I'm use to this" Sasha said

Avera made her way downstairs and smiled to Caex, excited to go for an actual ride for the first time since she'd conceived Auryn's egg.

Ryland looked up and smiled at Aura. "Hey there, what's up?" He asked, setting the book aside.

[Aristocles]

"Just get a feel for the ground and a sense of where your limbs are" Kos advised.

"How's Steele doing?" Caex asked, letting his wife take charge of the fine horse.

"Caex and Avera are going for a ride, so we have to watch Auryn for a bit" she replied.

"Right" Sasha said, "my limbs are attached to me"

[Aristocles]

Kos smiled. "No, I mean, a sense of where they are at any given time. It's not as simple as it sounds."

"It doesn't sound simple." Sasha said, "a sense? They're where I want them to be

Ryland nodded and stood, stretching. "Alright, is the little one in his cradle?" He asked

"Steele's fine and Niobe been restless so I'm thinking that she'll go into season soon," Avera said, getting Steele saddled up and then getting Niobe saddled up as well.

[Aristocles]

"It's not so simple.I think its called 'body awareness' or something like that" Kos explained. "I guess this doesn't come as easily to you as I thought it would. Naturally, you have more balance than I would. I'm top-heavy, like most adult males."

"I think he is, yes" Aura said, going to find Auryn.

Caex got on Niobe's back. "Easy, girl. Well, that's nice to know, love. Lead the way and I'll follow."

"I'm aware of my body quite well, but I don't get what you means Sasha said frowning

[Aristocles]

"Well, think of it like this: an acrobat is able to move their body in whatever way they have to in order to keep balanced" Kos replied. "The reason they can balance on a wire is not because they have special claws or anything, but because they have a great deal of control over their body and their balance."

Avera swung onto Steele and nudged him into an easy trot down one of the farm's trails.

Ryland followed after her and smiled, seeing Auryn kicking his legs. "He really is adorable," He said.
