Jammy nodded, "I imagine he would be. You should ask, when the family all meets up" She said, as it was clear to her that the scholar in Marx wanted to continue asking questions. "He'd enjoy it, I think"

"its going to be nice, to catch up with everyone again" Sasha said

Nyx frowned at that,, "The egg is laid, and won't be hatched for another few months, so I still eat more then usual?" She said, as she cut up some vegetables.

[Aristocles]

(Crap! I forgot about that. Got Sasha and Nyx mixed up. I'll write it in somehow.)

"Well, dang. Sorry. I-I keep thinking of you as having an egg in you. It's- It's still a new thing, being an expectant father. Still, you are a lovely mother-to-be" Larek replied, embarrassed. "Eat whatever you like."

"Indeed it will be, Sasha. How does Railing go into combat? Does he use armor? Swords? Knives? Axes?" Kos asked.

(haha, that's okay. Thats why I write down things, to keep them in order)

Nyx smiled, putting the vegetables aside until she wanted them, "it okay. it seems like its just gone so fast, it's hard to adapt" She said brightly, "and yet it sems like its going to be forever until the egg hatches, and we get to meet our child"

"Railing rights with a sword, and prefers to fight without armor" Sasha said, thinking, "he's trained in a lot of weapons though" She looked to her parents for confirmation, and got nods in return.

[Aristocles]

"Interesting. Larek and the other two fight unarmored too. Shirtless, even" Kos said, even though those three males didn't use shirts at all, even outdoors.

"Meet our child. That's a way of putting it that I didn't think of" Larek replied. "I hope he - or she - isn't a fussy child. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated" he told her.

"I think its something to do with being able to move better or something" Sasha said with a shrug, "You s hould ask him why he doesn't"

Nyx smiled, "I think its a good way of putting it. I'm sure he or she will be a good child" She thought on what her mother had taught her, "Beyond making sure the hatchling's fed, warm, safe? I don't really have much. It isn't like I saw any of my siblings as hatchlings, ,being the youngest'

[Aristocles]

"Hmm. I'll ask him. Prudence probably doesn't mind him going shirtless either" Kos noted, smiling.

"I've seen quite a few hatchlings. I'm the oldest of my siblings. Well, apart from Kos. I helped out every now and then, but helping my other was mostly left to my sisters" Larek replied.

"I see, I'll make something to help with the sickness and moods. And just keep an eye on everything when she gets closer when she's due. Caex, I'll get you a telepathy crystal made so you can contact me as well," Danae said, standing.

[Aristocles]

"Alright, thanks. Say, how did you ever get so good at this sort of magic? This... cross-breed stuff. My mother's a mage, but I never quite understood the ins and outs of this sort of thing." Caex replied.

"It's not exactly something most males mages are interested in, cherry r- er- Caex" Aura told him.

Sasha laughed, "Probably not" She said, shifting to stretch slightly, "but then, I like it when you go shirtless too"

"We'll learn" Nyx said, turning to check on the meat as it shimmered, before adding everything to it "We're going to be great parents" She said, with confidence

[Aristocles]

"Yeah. You'll forgive me if I keep my armor on in combat though" Kos replied. "Speaking of which, did I ever show you two what my armor and weapons look like?"

"I'm sure we will be. It's just that- it feels like we're going to be the first parents to ever hatch an egg in the history of the world. I know that's nonsense, but it still feels like it" Larek replied. "Maybe Kos was right: perhaps I am too emotional about things."

[GhostWing]

"I learned the spells from a nice witch and then there was a great deal with trial and error. And a great deal of mice and lizards...." Danae said, going back down to the kitchen.

[Aristocles]

"I see. Best not to share all of the details. So, this crystal, how do I used it?" Caex wondered, somewhat weirded out by the thought that someone could be made into a mouse or a lizard. A baleful polymorph indeed.

Aura smiled at her brother but said nothing. Even though he had been raised more by his mother, Caex was still squeamish when it came to matters of childbirth. For him, reproduction ended at mating, but that was just the starting point for a female.

"I don't think so" jammy said, looking to Marx, who shook his head. "No"

Nyx shook her head, smiling and turning to Larek to give him a kiss, "it isn't nonsense. I imagine everyone feels like that. We can talk with our parents, if that will make you feel better. It would be, just for simple advice"

"You say the name of whomever you wish to contact and then either speak to it or if you've gotten the hang of the magic, then you can send messages through thoughts," Danae said. "Were you going to be here for the birth?"

[Aristocles]

"Why yes, I wouldn't miss the birth of the first human child in this family" Caex replied. "I mean, this is still new to me with Auryn and all, and a human will be even newer. My father was there for my hatching, although I've never actually seen a human birth. This will be interesting."

Kos smiled. "I'll have to show you, then. Wait just a moment!" He went upstairs to get his armor and weapons, taking a couple of trips to get everything into place. He put on the armor, piece by piece, so that every part of him was covered in steel, save for his tail and feet. He had a helmet on as well which covered the top of his head.

"I've got some coverings for my tail and the top of my feet as well, but those are uncomfortable" Kos told them.

"Maybe later. We've talked to them quite a bit already, and I think we need some time alone. In a few months, it won't be just the two of us at home anymore" Larek explained.

"I imagine it instant" Jammy said, "it's naturally uncomfortable for anything one our tails-we use them more then you think to walk, maintain balance. Doesn't it get tiring wearing so much to fight with though? It must be a strain on your back after an extended period of time"

Marx settled back, knowing Jammy could easily go on, and he smiled.

"Alone time sounds wonderful" Nyx said, dishing up their food, clearly sounding happy at that thought

[Aristocles]

"It does get tiring, but only after a long while. That's why I've had to train so hard, so that it doesn't weigh me down as much or tire me out so quickly" Kos explained. Of course, I wouldn't wear this armor around the house except to show you how it works. Sasha would hate it if I went around ripping up the cushions by sitting down while fully armored, or if I made a lot of noise moving around in this. It's why I mostly put it on for practice outdoors."

"Well, after dinner, what did you have in mind?" Larek queried.

[GhostWing]

"Just be strong. Alan fainted when he saw his first son born and still gets sick when they have human children," Danae said with a laugh, going to the kitchen.

[Aristocles]

(Would any of Avera's human relatives be interested in that Lost City adventure?)

"Yeah, I guess I'll have to keep that in mind" Caex replied. "Anyway, is there anything I can do to actually help Avera when she's got this sickness from her pregnancy?"

"Whatever it is, I'll be glad to help" Aura chimed in.

(Probably not. Really though, I'm too lazy to play anymore characters right now.)

"That's what I'm fixing up right now, it'll curb the sickness so it's not as bad as this but she'll still get sick occasionally. It can be due to smells, the sight of food even or she just won't feel well," She said.
