@LordofthePies
The game setting is a planet called "Other Earth", but the people there just call it "Earth" for short. The reason why it is called "Other" is that at the beginning of time, the arbitrary and irreducible rules of nature which determine what is and isn't possible made it such that things which cannot exist in the real world exist in that one, such as magic. Why does it exist? Same reason real world forces such as gravity and electromagnetism do: because the universe was created with them. At some point, the answer to any question will hit an irreducible point, or a "just because it is that way" point of explanation.
So, most (basically all) of the action in the RP takes place on a desert continent simply called "The Dracon Continent" or "Draconia" if you wish to call it that. It's basically like the Sahara desert, if that helps, although there are some fertile areas and river valleys. A bit like Egypt in some ways.
Dracons are the main species. They hatch from eggs, as you said, but there's much more to them than that. In as few words as possible, they were artificially created several thousand years ago by a cabal of dragons and mages using a mix of humanoid and dragon blood. The dracons eventually formed their own kingdoms and cities independent of the aforemention cabal, and said cabal was largely destroyed when its members fought one another.
Dracons live in a multitude of realms, both large and small. The eight largest of these realms (all eight of which are kingdoms, with the partial exception of Hekaga in the present) are focused around a major city such as Minbenthac or Hekaga. There never was a single dracon state, kingdom, or empire which encompassed all of the dracon realms. The city of Hekaga still rules over a kingdom, but its leader is a Grand Prince, as the previous king sided with an evil "god" named Dememoras, who tried to take over the dracon realms and lost.
Dracon society is a bit like a fantasy medieval one, with elements of ancient Rome and Egypt thrown in. I can link you to a lot of literature about them that I wrote over the course of several years if you want to learn more. It's a lot to put in right here. Each Dracon realm has its own way of doing things, its own laws, customs, and traditions, but they all speak the same language, follow many of the same gods (the dracon realms have thousands of gods), and all are rather warlike places.
Physically, dracons are divided heavily by gender: males are a great deal larger and stronger than females, and female dracons have a lighter skin tone on their stomachs, soles, palms, and a few other places in addition to a base skin tone (I have pictures if you want me to link them). Both genders can breathe a weak acid, females can nurse their young (part humanoid, remember), and both genders have two horns each, a tail, a snout, and the same number of fingers and toes (three fingers and a thumb on each hand, three toes and a spur on each foot).
Did you have any specific questions? Keep in mind that you don't have to play as a dracon and can make up your own rules about a species you decided to make.
