ZAQIR! IS A Q! IS A Q!

Really, the cultures in this setting are pretty varied when you get down to it. Germanic Prometheans, Iberian/Berber Zaqiri... Ashkar has ziggurats, and I keep thinking of Mayan ziggurats, but I could be wrong. Ilitscium was distinctly Greek-like to me. The Scalethein Empire has taken a turn toward the Roman during the course of our roleplay, at least with the Legions and such... Kind'a neat to sit back and eyeball the scenery.

I'm supposed to be Mesopotamian, not Mayan, although I tried to be slightly eclectic in my influences. But I'm more Mesopotamian than anything else, that's why my women have rights.

No problem. I came because I thought the concept was interesting, and I have to say that I'm glad I did. It's interesting seeing how all the different nations develop, and not just reading a few paragraphs of history in a NS. But I'm quite excited for the beginning of the RP proper; it should be fun. :D

If we run short on players, I would also be fine recruiting one or two to take over either a human NPC or the Grogar/Regulii (assuming that was kosher with their creators). That might cut down on the NPC management we all have to do. Also, as for the Grogar, I was planning for them to occupy Bet Aybar for much of the last century, stopping it from turning it's (Persian/Byzantine, an ironic mix), seeing as we are talking about influences) might against Scalethein's bulk.

Hey SovGrave, why don't we have the Church of Ila proselytize the Feinar? I see that as a satisfactory solution to end the century.
