Star wars rp?

So, obviously, with all the hubbalo about the new starwars coming out and what not, I thought "starwars...I haven't seen that in a while" so, naturally I delve deep into starwars, going from knowing nothing about it to as much as I can. I still haven't seen the new movie, but now I'm addicted and in love with the series. So naturally, I got to making an rpg group.

So I introduce to you my new starwars rpg group. It takes place right before the very first republic. Not the new republic, not the old republic, but the just before the very first one. This means: infinate empire is gone, jedi and sith are created, and the mandolorian wars have not happened, and neither have any of the happenings of starwars just yet. More importantly, jedi are not seen very well and universe is controlled by various rulers.

I might not use this in the long run, but who knows, it seems fun. I'd love feedback, advice and to see what I'm dealing with.

Hey, don't mind me, but I was going to make a Free Star Wars RP - had written up a draft and everything, but then two things happened:

1) I got busy with my Nation RP, which has sucked my time dry.

2) I saw you'd got there first, and I didn't want to risk it looking like I was stealing your thunder.

So with all that in mind, here's what I came up with. I thought you guys might have wanted to see it, just on the off chance that it gave you a couple of ideas or whatever. It might be total trash, in which case, throw it in the bin or bury it in the garden.

The idea was based in the immediate aftermath of Order 66; a Jedi has been imprisoned, and is awaiting execution (played by one guy/gal), whilst a crack team of mercenaries (played by the rest) intend to raid the Clones' outpost and rescue them.

Anyways, whatever you end up doing, have fun and I hope it goes well!

Setting: It has been three hours since Darth Sidious issued the notorious Order 66. The Jedi Order has been laid to wast; its ranks blasted to smithereens by the very Clone Troopers that it was leading into battle across the CIS-held Outer Rim. Those of the Order who are not already dead, have either taken flight to exile, or are awaiting execution.

On the violet-tinted botanical paradise of Garqi, one such captured Jedi has been secluded in solitary confinement; they await the end with steadfast composure.

Little do they know, that a band of Force-snubbing mercenaries, paid by an unknown benefactor, is about to touch down in a commandeered LAAT/c to spring their release.

This crack team of warriors-for-hire haven't much in the way of light sabers or force powers, but they're packing plenty of blasters, grit and experience. The Clone Troopers guarding the Jedi are about to be put to the test against renowned hired-guns.

Base 97, a Republic outpost on Garqi's surface of little importance - save that it houses a captured Jedi, who is being prepared for execution. Hundreds of Clones anxiously patrol the grounds, awaiting the command to destroy their charge. A drop ship is just touching down - a routine, scheduled munitions delivery - and it's about to tear them a new one.
