Funny enough but I was considering running a similar version of Deadpool to the one I ran in Gowi's last attempt...though I dunno if he'd be part of the Suicide Squad like he was there...or if the suggestion of someone playing Deadpool is going to get me chased out of here by an angry mob XD

Wade is possibly the only character where

"What do you bring to the squad?"

"Nothing, but the players wanted me here."

would work as a valid justification for him being part of the squad.

Depending on the form of persuasion you might be able to, but I doubt it. It's not like his head exploding would work into his day that much.

I'm just thinking about what characters I want to play, but most of them hinge on someone else's choice in character, such as The Flash or Suicide Squad, per the rules.

True, but it was one of Gowi's requests when I signed up as him. No amount of physical coercion would've possibly justified it so I had him sticking around because he felt like it since an ex-girlfriend he still liked was part of the Squad but even then he was almost definitely just going to break out. That, and he wanted an excuse to punch Nazis.

Yeah, I would not be keen on having Deadpool in the Suicide Squad.

I'm not keen on Deadpool altogether but I can't see this game's version of Amanda Waller humouring that at all.

Hmmm. The people want a Flash, eh? Although, while I agree that the JLA should have actual JLA members, I also worry that we're going to have a lot of PC Leaguers and comparatively few Avengers (whenever they arise) at this rate.

A mixture of Marvel/DC on both would be great.

Here's my rough idea: at some point Lex is uncovered as a fraud and/or something goes wrong and somebody (we'll work that out) dies, forcing Superman's hand into starting a team of his own - The Avengers. In all likelihood it'll be a short term thing until the League is "reclaimed" from Luthor and then we'll have an expanded JLA rather than two teams awkwardly coexisting.
