Na-Tuk

Na-Tuk is one of the oldest members of the tribe, and at one time an avid hunter and tracker. His use as a hunter long past, Na-Tuk now spends most of his days imparting advice to the younger men, giving all the benefit of his years of experience. His nights are mainly spent sitting around the fire telling stories and chanting.


Rayla-Tuk

Daughter and only surviving kin of Na-Tuk, Rayla is an adventurous young girl with a sense of wonder about the world, and a curiosity that often leads her into trouble. Her father often attempts to steer her to the side of caution, but Rayla's reckless spirit tends to get the better of his teachings.

Urza, also called Urza Longfoot

The tribe discovered young Urza in a small cavern to the south of their traditional hunting grounds. Many tribesmen believed the child was touched by the spirits because she showed no fear when the band found her lair. The elder ignored these whispers and welcomed her to the tribe. The red-haired Urza grew into a lean, soft-spoken woman with a penchant for ranging ahead of the group to see what dangers lay ahead. This habit earned her the nickname "longfoot." Armed with her trusty ashwood spear, Urza was excited by the prospect of hunting the great mammoths, though her gender and physique ensured she wouldn't be overly involved. Now, in the wake of a brutal snowstorm, the tribeswoman simply hopes to survive long enough to explore the territory she finds herself in.

Thag

Appearance

Bio
Thag is not the strongest man, but he makes up for it with his ingenuity quickly learning about which rocks make better sparks for fire. He is young and has only seen a few hunts and while he is no prodigy in the art of hunting he has earned his place among their ranks. Some of the others would find him strange as he messes around with objects just staring at them. Few understand his mind, but he is content that they leave him to it. He believes in listening to the elders and loves the stories Na-Tuk tells.

Garrak

Bio: Garrak was raised by parents with the belief that the spirits gave their son the duty to protect the tribe and as such, he was raised to be a strong warrior, to be stronger than any other member of the tribe adn to protect them, however he was also taught to be without mercy towards outsiders, for they will be the ones to destroy the tribe. Now and adult, Garrak is a strong hunter and a strong warrior with a sense of duty to his fellow tribal member, however, he often advises the others to avoid contact with the people of other tribes.

Caerwyn

Bio
Caerwyn was born to strong parents, both of whom were strong hunters for the tribe. They raised him to be a fighter, a survivor. They trained him to fight and taught him the ways of their people. They instilled within him a respect for authority, one that has made him a favorite among the tribe's elders. The hunt for the mammoth was to be his first hunt, until the storm hit. His parents were both killed in the storm, and he has been left as an orphan, and one of the younger members of the tribe. He's willing to do anything to prove himself to the others that are left, and to aid them in survival.

Zarra



Bio:
She is a wild-woman. A loner. Her group was ravaged by the harsh reality that was the world and Zarra alone was left alive. She learned how to better survive on her own by watching animals. Listening to their calls she learned when predators were near and how to hide, when to fight or flee. She is a carrion hunter, living on remains of larger kills. If she can, Zarra tries to kill prey when she can, often taking the bodies with her as long as she could before another source of food could be found. She thinks of herself first and everyone else second.

Nis and Wila

Nis

A young man a few summers, Nis could (maybe) be described as a competent hunter but is most often then not found collecting stones other useful materials. This is due to one simple fact, he is unlucky. Either it was because he was born under a bad star, or the spirits just have it out for him, he seems to fall on his face (figuratively and sometimes literally). He has overcome this in his resource gathering through stubbornness alone however, and always tries to make himself useful, giving whatever task he committing to his all.

Wila

Nis's older sister by a summer. Wila focuses mainly on two things, gathering edible roots and berries, and keeping her brother from falling into a crag. She shares his stubbornness and tenacity, which when mixed with her own dislike of "annoyances", often times lead to loud arguments between the siblings. A sense of dry humor often dots any conversation with her, but she seems to be a generally likable person, at least in her opinion.
