The other day I read about a tribe of people who made armor by taking the hooves of dead horses and pounding them together into a form of plate. From then on, that's been one of my favorites.

Linothorax is also pretty wild, because the idea of it is so dumb, but it still looks really cool.

Chinese paper armor is pretty interesting, and silly in a comparative since too.



It's apparently good at resisting anything short of a flail or .45 caliber bullet.

The best armor is to wear absolutely nothing at all. It is the mark of a true warrior to have your manly parts flapping in the wind as you lay waste to your enemies!

Also makes it easier to take a pee in the middle of a fight.

The F35 is coming along pretty well, especially with the latest rounds of negotiations bringing the prices down. Plus there've been more and more positive reports from test pilots in the US and elsewhere. It's not a *total* failure.

Plot armour of course, though that's already mentioned.

In all seriousness. I feel like I'm one of the few that prefers light armour over heavy stuff. Leather/fur, maybe light chain. That kind of thing. Which also reflects in my rp's. I LARP and I've always been more of an agility fighter, dodging and parrying attacks rather than a tank that takes the hits head on.
