Just to clarify, I assume that the forcefield over the entrance to the base is still standing? If that is the case then we should just go in the way that the infiltration team went in and meet up with them en rout out.

The forcefield is still standing, but Devors intends to blow it open now that the turrets are disabled, and it is the quickest route.

@Ariamis, with the fact I can fire two weapons in one turn with my targeting system, could I perhaps charge up two Railgun shots at the same time?

Also, just because the elite is 'dead' doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to extract it and bring the machine with us. There might be valuable technologies that we can make use of... Also, I play D&D using gray hawk rules. If you aren't familiar with the idea, it is that anything can be looted and used.

The weapon doesn't have twin barrels, so that is impossible.

Would Paladin be able to hand over control of his targeting to Ribasu temporaily? Or Ribasu share targeting solution between the two units?

Figure the two heavy hitter's unleashing an orbital slingshot-enhanced barrage might do some damage.

Sharing is possible if Paladin gives permission and is close enough; Framewerks have shared visual feeds before, so targeting works as well.

Well...that was a cool but emotional battle...the new Mai now Maria, taking up her mother's mantle, has alot to think about now. Not just her 100% sync but now her raw feelings and keeping herself in check now.

From the losses in that battle to her past life choices to even the mind screws that battle put her through, Maria might be a bit unstable and, yet again, in a hospital bed. Being stabbed through and most of the front part of her mech being melted by Cruxi weapon fire would do that to you at 100% sync I'd imagine -_-'

But hey...she got the Cruxi sword...

@Jasonhero I mean Jason and Ariin could sync up targeting data, Ariin implant allows him to process targeting information and make corrections faster just by glancing at the image. (The joy's of technology. Of course you fry the implant and he gets brain damage.) If it's the last shot, Paladin can fire three volleys. (Six shots.) With the cooling system forced into overdrive. The barrel can fuse and he'd screwed completely if anything else shows up to fight.

On a side note the last time he fired the triple barrel it melted the barrel. Oh and Ariin's aim has been quite off today, he's missed well... A lot of shots.
