I'm glad we aren't following the Aztec example of appeasing to the gods
Eliz is planning to get away to get rid of the heat for a while and maybe to meditate on her own self a bit.
So, since Cairis is Eliz's patron goddess and also the goddess of adventures Eliz is probably going to invest in some divine blessing.
Plan thus far is: Finish raiding season, spend the harvest to do something that, well, will probably not involve helping harvesting as she is supposed to do. Dig out the dwarven ruins during the moon season and once the new year starts... go exploring.
She aims to make a map of pretty much the entire valley, or at least map as much of it as she can and be gone for a couple of seasons.

So, a few notes I'll make:
Exploration will get SERIOUSLY TOUGH in the winter seasons. Keep that in mind. You can do it, but you might get turned back, or you might get attacked by monsters more in the Moon Season, or you... etc. Problems. So, if you want to explore for a few seasons, keep that in mind.
On a similar note, right now is the Fire season. Next is Ash. Both are filled with raids. You'll right about wanting to be around to help fight against raids and to lead your own raids. This is, after all, the most raid-heavy time of the year.
Concerning exploration, you might want to consider if someone else would like to go exploring, too. Eliz has already had an adventure this year. What if Titania wakes up and says "I want to find some rad ass treasure, too?" If nobody else does, you could always set off again. The main thing to remember is that you want at least one warrior-type around to help defend the clan. (Luckily, there's... what, four of you?)
You don't know any of Cairis' blessings yet, but you can sacrifice some goods or cows to learn one. After that, you'd sacrifice again to actually use it. You might learn part of a Quest instead. Either way: it'll cost between 7-14 total goods and cows.
Finally, I'll outright say that you won't be able to map most of the valley in two seasons. Not nearly. But mapping the valley is a VERY good goal to have, and if you want to start, now is as great a time as ever. I encourage you folks to explore if you think it'll benefit you.
You better vote for poison grenades. Fragile clay containers + silverleaf tree sap=POISON GRENADES!
@Shorticus
are those rocks like a Stonehenge or something?
Oh what the hell! I am not sitting on the sidelines with the orc issue. Just because I am sick does not make my character feeble he can do this
