I think I'm giving about giving Ravenia a new technique called Glide.
Basically she can glide when jumping from heights when she's wearing her cape.

Since it's seems like the cape is also a part of her bird physiology, or is at least manipulated in such a way, You could go flying squirrel style and have the bottoms of the cape connect to the backs of her heels and make a parachute to hold air in with while she falls, or a more batman Arkham style, where the cape actually acts like wings.

Kind of, yes!!
If you look at my first post you'll see how it actually happens.

Her cape consumes her and folds in to herself, it explodes in a rain of feathers and she flies out as a raven.
When she turns back, the wings wrap around herself and explodes again and the feathers multiply. Basically it becomes larger and larger and she falls out of the fearhers.
