Actually I have a question on powers and their development. Are they like muscles? The more you use them the more powerful/control you have over them, or is it more like a static amount of power you get right when your powers awaken?

@Ghost Queen depends on the ability. If it is something like super strength you will be at your peak limit, and will basically train to improve how you use it. Something like telekinesis the player can develop over time.

Can you work with such a thing as a guy who uses CHI to do telekinesis and telepathy, and channel inner strenght, but only to a milited level? Chi goes into the realm of magics, which won't exist. I saw a character do a similar thing where he could modify his internal eletrical signals to boost performance in certain areas, which is probably a more scientific way of explaining that. Though it would depend on the character if I'd be alright with Telepathy/Telekensis on top of that.

@Sep Bullshit. Chi is not magic, it's the life force of every living thing. You are talking about Essence.

And what kind of superpower you think of? I mean there is only so many not using the ability to control your basic abilities with Chi and meditation. Super strenght, agility, intelligence and regen. Thats all. Uninteresting by default, if you don't have people that can do shit BECAUSE they can control their Chi to do morr exciting and brain heavy activities.

@6slyboy6 If you're meaning like real life Chi, as in the bodies internal electrical energy then yes as I said that's fine. Though remember using the term "Chi" does have certain spiritual connotations.

@Sep So I was thinking a character that has the ability to manipulate his bone structure, of course a required secondary power would be heightened healing factor, but only for bone marrow and the bone itself, so flesh regrows at a normal rate, what say you?

As always though, things will be made clearer once the OOC is done. I'm actually doing a little of it now as I sit and wait for what must be the slowest printer on the Earth.

@Sep There exists a character with similar abilities in some other media I don't remember, but he was able to use his spine as a whip, and I was thinking how stupid that was, even moving the spine a bit would cause incredible damage to the entire body, severing it would be instantly fatal, even with a healing factor. My character would have to be a quick fighter, as using his ability for even a bit too long would lead to insane bleeding and flesh damage, however, he could be able to harden his bone structure to do some insane shit.

Since everyone else is jumping you with Power question I'll join in as well. I was thinking of making a character with the power of supernatural conditioning (With a twist). The level of his physical conditioning would be similar to that of characters like Spiderman, Rhino, Venom etc.

Is this level of power acceptable?

@El Noche if it's tied to the supernatural (as in ghosts, ghouls, magic etc) it's not going to be possible. This is more "future based" than "fantasy". The event that gave people powers didn't bring magic into existence, it just changed people.

The nomenclature of the term supernatural conditioning is simply to illustrate that the physicality of the being in question is far above what is natural for his or her species. The term itself isn't supposed to convey how the being came to be at such a heightened state. So I didn't mean supernatural as in things involving spiritual phenomenon or magic. But I can see how you would surmise otherwise.
