@DrewVonAwesome Also Drew, I noticed your request in Darren's bio. I can't have William beat him up, as that goes against the guys natural aversion to physical violence, but he could have given him a emphatic whammy. Say 'Biggie D' starts getting uppity, being a jerk, calling everyone else at the school freaks, well then Outsider walks up to him, looks him straight in the eye, and then makes him so terrified of his own shadow that for the next six hours he pisses himself in terror every time he glimpses it, or so attracted to real-oak furnishings that he spends the rest of the day rubbing himself up against the stairwell banisters of the X-mansion, crazy stuff like that. (Bad examples, I know, but it's early goddammit, and I haven't had my coffee.)

@Garden Gnome As I believe Hillan mentioned, it is alright for characters to have similar powers as some X-men had similar powers. You go with what you wanna go with. Heck your similar powers could be beneficial for you RP-wise

Completely agree with this. Just because our powers are similar doesn't make it a bad thing. But if you really want something telekinetic without it being telekinesis per se, u could always go for powers that can stimulate telekinetic like effects such as wind manipulation or gravity manipulation. Magnetism too. Or just straight up telekinesis since Ishaal stimulates telekinetic like effects with her sprites. Keep what u had if it will make u happy. @Garden Gnome

Those are whole new powers on their own. I would have to have to rework my entire concept as my is almost similar to yours just without the sprites in the telekinetic fashion. And it just wouldn't be ideal to have two people with powers too similar.

@Garden Gnome If you are sure and are reworking, remember that Wraith and Hillan said that we should be a team of well-rounded characters, if it seems like we got the telekinetic aspect down, go for something else to better round off the team.

But they did say that similar abilities are not a big deal. If you really want to have telekinesis, then I say go ahead, but this is of course up to you.

Actually, I think it could be pretty ideal. I imagine, depending on who is the stronger with their telekinesis, would help the other learn how to use their power better. Bond over the similarity in their power. But hey, if similarity is your achilles heel, then thats ur choice to change it. LOL I'm just saying. Don't change what you know u want for someone else. Especially not little old me. :P

No more than telekinesis, telepathy, shape-shifting, density control, the ability to fire optic blasts etc. Every power has the oppurtunity to be exploited into being overpowered. The key is the limitations and drawbacks you, as the player, place upon your character.

I dont think so. Gravity is a solid power. And anyways, the GMs want more offensive powers. So Gravity is very versatile, but also offensive.
