Sionnie turned around to face Jethro and nodded, her eyes never wavered, and she replied with with a grim, soulless, and uncompassionate voice growling "The middle one's mine" turned around and began to sneak her way to the front from under the caravan wagons. she stopped with in ear shot of Jethro and whispered "find Jakar and have him wait in place with you. Move with quiet and haste." She imagined Galawayn would have no problem under them and signaled him to lead with i controlled flick of her sharp arrow tipped tail.

Galawayn had been reading a book when the bandits announced their presence. Like the rest of the party, he sprang to action and reached for his weapon when they announced their presence. A quick assesment was made. "Check the bushes, they've likely got people in there." He commanded, hoping his words would find purchase. He drew forth his staff, a well made and finely decorated family piece of gold and carved mahogany. He muttered a string of utterances a fellow spellcaster would recognize as the high language of magic, and a phantasm of a halfling leaping from the right side of the carriage with weapons drawn materialized. Galawayn pointed to the left exit of the carriage. His intent clear, he would follow them once they had established a beachead.

Zayga looked around, a bit confused at first. She pulled at a finely crafted Long sword and a Large shield. Zayga had a different look on her face, instead of sweet and happy. It was serious and deadly. "I could go out first with my shield, so they don't target the mage when he does his distraction."

[Sionnie]

Sionnie moved in quickly while the bandits were distracted by Galawyn's spell. She was on her toes running and and rolled in behind them. With one more sudden movement she spun around and stuck her sharp, arrow tipped tail under and inside the soft part of the fleshy middle of the soft part of his throat. Sionnie cried out "NOW!!" in the split second began to run for the safety of the caravan before the bandits realized what she had done. She needed those arrow fired in their head or she have one in her back soon enough.

As Jethro see's Galawayn muster up his magic he tosses the door open so the halfling illusion could pop out. Following the distraction Jethro rolls out of the carriage trying to land on one knee with bow and arrow drawn. (acrobatics 19*) Once the first move is made Jethro shall fire upon the first available target. (attack 14*)

Jakar knew something was wrong almost before he heard Dyllon yelling and swearing. There was no mistaking the subtle twang of arrows being released. He dropped low, cursing himself for his negligence, and nocked an arrow to his bow. Up ahead of him, a halfling burst out of the carriage and charged like a berserker towards what he assumed were their attackers. There were no halflings in their company that he had observed, so he trusted that it was a ploy of Galawayn's, a suspicion confirmed when he saw Sionnie and Jethro preparing to attack under the confusion.

Satisfied that his companions in the carriage had the situation up front under control, he quickly scanned their surroundings, trying to discern any signs of the archers hiding in the undergrowth. (Perception 14+2+1)

[Saffirra Dusk]

Zayga, leaped out of the caravan and went to the back of it, to make sure no one was going to try and sneak attack them from the back. When she reached the back she knelt down on one knee and put the shield up so most of her body was covered. (Initiative 16*) (Perception 20*)

Arthur had been resting in the carriage when the bandirs attacked.
Watching while everyone suddenly went on the counter offensive the tiefling decided it would be best if somebody stayed with the common folk. Pulling out his drum he began to lay down a steady beat, with intent to keep the people around him calm.
Of course, he also kept one hand ready to draw his blade, should the others fail.

@Bigg Slamm Jethro gracefully rolls towards the left side of the carriage. Your shot was true, and the arrow flew effortlessly into the first Bandit it finds for 4 points of Piercing Damage.

@Natsucooldude The three bandits saw the phantasm materialise and was surprised. Their attention is focused upon the illusion.

@Sionnie Your presence diminishes in the broad daylight. You carefully maneuver yourself away from the attention of the three bandits in front with the help of Galawayn's illusion into the brushes and fired an arrow to the Bandit Leader, inflicting 9 points of Piercing Damage.
(This was so as you do not have enough movement to reach within melee range)

@neogreggory The melodies and rhythm of the drums soothed the uneasy civilians in the caravan. They look upon one another and embraced themselves with great hope that they'll come out of this struggle unharmed.

Bandit Leader - His complexion shot into a wave of pain as an arrow was struck by his chest. His eyes furiously turned towards the direction in which it had travelled (20, CRITICAL!) and spotted the Albino Tiefling hidden between brushes. He uses his action to dash, engaging the Albino Tiefling into melee range.

Bandit 1 - The arrow was planted deep in his arm, causing him to cry out in pain. He looked towards the perpetrator Jethro intently and began moving his full 30 feet.

@justTypical - Your eyes scan the brushes and trees, and successfully spotted between them two ranged bandits on each side with their crossbows at the ready.

Other bandits - Dumbfounded by Galawayn's illusion, they all fired a bolt to the image (18, 3, 19, 18, 20 CRITICAL!). As soon as they saw their bolts phasing through the image, you could see them facepalm themselves.

Jethro sees the bolts pass through Galawayn's illusion from the treeline and curses under his breath. Surely the others saw that. He had bigger problem bearing down on him. Seeing the man he shot begin to move towards him Jethro rises to his feet and back pedals towards the back of the carriage. As he does so he raises a finger marking his foe with wild magic. (Hunter's Mark) Taking partial cover behind the carriage Jethro fires another shot. (12 unmodded)

Zayga looks back behind her and sees Jethro scrambling behind the carriage, but notices he got a shot off again. So instead she worried about the two guys she saw in front of her. She decided to kinda run while crouched so the shield still covered most of her body. She starts to charge the two men. When she was about 10 feet away, she stood up fully and began to do a full out sprint towards them, keeping her shield in front though. When she got to them, she went down to one knee came up with a shield bash on one of the guys chest and slashed out towards the other to keep him at bay. (17* for the shield bash).

Galawayn heard the ticking of bolts uselessly burying themselves into the sie of the carriage. It appeared his illusion had done its job admirably. But perhaps now it was time to take a more direct approach. He jumped out of the carriage and into the open, the arcane glow of magic formed on the head of his staff. He picked out the best target to fire at and a streak of frost shot through the air.

Sionnie was surprised, the bandit still stood much less that he would rush her, after an arrow through his chest. He was enraged, spitting curses at her. Swinging swift attacks continuously at her. She weaved in and out of his attacks, each strike barely missing her. Each foot hitting the ground softly, soundlessly. Sionnie, danced her way out of every blow, she could see the bandits stamina waning. Their leader was beginning to feel exhaution. She looked down in surprise at her waist, noticing a small graze on her waist, but she had felt worse. (Evasion 19*). Sionnie looks at the leader with unfazed, The bandits breathing had become heavy. She knew there were those waiting in the brushes, their attack could begin any moment. So this confrontation needed to end.

She suddenly leapt at him, straight forward going for his throat but the bandit leader leaned back enough to manage to not get his throat slashed open. Instead Sionnie's blade impaled his eye, he gasped in agony as he fell backwards, Sionnie used the momentum to jump on his chest, she slowly pulls out the blade from his eye. She then whispers in his ear, "All men must die" then in one quick movement, severed his throat. (First attack roll 20*) (Second attack roll 16*)

Sionnie made a quick scan of the surrounding area as she leaped backwards in the caravan's direction. SHe was all to aware of the bandit presence, even if she could not see them. She needed to find cover fast. (Perception roll 15*)

With smooth, practiced motion, Jakar draws back his mighty longbow and sends an arrow flying toward the closer of the two bandits in the bushes, but curses as it flies harmlessly over his head. He silently thanks the gods that his old drill sergeant wasn't around to see that.

@Bigg Slamm The arrow pierces and lodged itself through the Bandit's heart with the force of a violent whirlwind. On the tip was seen the visceral sight of a small heart penetrated directly in the middle. The bandit's body simply keeled over limp and lifeless. (Bandit 1 is dead)

@Saffirra Dusk The slash was vigorous. It was so vigorous in fact that it cleanly slices the neck away from the body. (Bandit 8 is dead)

@Natsucooldude You guide your staff hurriedly as you come to a stop from your leap. The impending strike was skewed-- striking a nearby tree as the Ray of Frost misses its target. You were also able to see the enemies hiding behind the foliage, thanks to Sionnie's assistance.

@Sionnie It is so, as the Bandit Leader falls dead to on the ground, blood splattering all over the ground creating a small mound of soil and blood. Your sights could see the enemies hiding behind foliage whose got their sights on you.

@neogreggory You hold your turn, keeping comfort amongst the citizens still inside the carriage.

Bandit 2 saw the Tiefling's mad slaughter of the Bandit Leader (4) and stows away his weapon, running frantically in fear as an attempt to escape the encounter for 60 ft to the east.

Bandit 3 who also saw the slaughter of the Bandit Leader (4) stows his weapon away and made a dashing run for it, to the west for 60 ft.

Bandit 4 was the same (7). He dashed towards the west for 60 ft.

Bandit 5 who was focused upon Jethro who recently killed one of his comrades decides to cock a Bolt and fire it towards Jethro, (8) but plants the bolt onto the carriage instead.

Bandit 6 loads another bolt onto his Crossbow and steadily aimed for Galawayn. (8) The bolt finds its way into the ground.

Bandit 7 loads another bolt onto his Crossbow and fired it towards Galawayn. (9) The bolt whizzes past and stuck itself into a tree.

Bandit 9 saw his comrade was hurt and brought forth his own scimitar-- (3) utterly missing Zayga completely.

Jethro hears the whiz of a bolt and a thump of it making contact to the carriage next to his head. Following the angle to the trees Jethro spots Bandit 5.(?) Notching an arrow Jethro takes aim marking the bandit with wild magic. (Hunter's Mark) Jethro lets loose his arrow aiming once again for another kill shot. (16 unmodded)

Zayga lunged at the bandit in front of her, she put her shield up to block the swing from the bandit. In one easy spin she slashed her blade out, targeting the bandits stomach. (Sword slash roll 1d8, rolled a 6 unmodded) (Not sure if I should do a roll for the block???)

Galawayn cursed under his breath as his frost ray went wide... he surveyed the situation around him and decided some supportive magic would be best here... He twiddled his thumbs to and fro, walked up to some of the bandits, and let loose a brilliant conflageration of rainbow colors.

[Sionnie]

Sionnie ran in galawyn's direction then came to a stop in front of him as she looked him in the eyse. Her eyes where no longer so cold as they where before as she just looked at him for a couple seconds and when she knew she had his full attention she pointed towards the two bandits that run west and said in her typical detached, unemotional tone "there getting away..." she looked back at Galawayn as if she expected him to assist and readied herself for his course of action. Her tail was waving wildly in anticipation as it fliked back and fourth.
