Sounds like galawayn has little man syndrome.. but who could blame him. lol. Look man, you are the guy with the most problems.. besides i saw no line of dialog where your gnome talked down to sionnie so make your intentions clearer because you came across as an elderly gnome how seemed more concerned then angry.. on that note your concern is what made sionnie come back to you.. then she continued by teasing you.. if you want to insult sionnie make sure you do so in the dialog..

The one who has consistantly whined is you... keep in mind many of us are new so instead of judging us try goofing off with us, i am sure as a gnome wizard you could be both impressive and humorous in many of these situations. This would make your character more enjoyable and make others of us feel like following you. If your gnome wants us to follow him first he must prove himself. A leader commands respect. Sionnie does NOT respect you. Make the best of the situations you have and then no one can use them against you. ^_^

Ahh, gotcha. I thought perhaps I'd missed it somewhere.

Do we need to set one up, then? I think I see my part of the problem in that I've come from playing less structured or free roleplays where it doesn't matter so much exactly what order posts are made, etc. But this isn't one of those, so I need to tighten it up a bit.

I'm going to hazard a guess that @Natsucooldude and @VKAllen are the ones with the most experience here (correct me if I'm wrong, all) so I'd like to get their input so we can all get on track and, you know, get down to slaying some monsters :)

Hey, Natsu. Stop complaining how others play the role play... If you have a problem with that. Everyone else here is having fun and has no problem at all, but you... Stop being a whinny jerk and just go with the flow. Or you can leave.. Leaving is always an option. And honestly.. Out of all of us Sionnie has the most story depth in her character.. So yeah I would say she is a special snowflake.

At this stage, I could understand all of the character's sentiment towards one another, but that does not give characters the reason to break away from the party going to do things on their own-- in essence you might as well not fight as a party. Despite of your untrusting nature of the character, it would be good for them to understand the basics of cooperation and merc-like behaviour (I'm not doing this because we're friends or anything attitude).

If you guys break off, I maybe forced to Deus Ex Machina your butt back into the party.

Its Good Friday down under Australia and I will be out of action (Church service AND my own DND session at another place in person). Please consider this timrout as a mean to plan on rebuilding your attitudes towards the game. DND is not a Solo game, it is a party game meant for FUN. This goes for all of you. @Sionnie I am going to need you to reassess your character's actions and behaviour. Her level of distrust isn't what I'd call healthy. A healthy distrust is only if that person has technically did wrong to you or you don't know what they are going to do WITH you. My point of view sees this as blatant discrimination. Remember: your character is shy NOT anti-social.

What else are you supposed to do with a tieflings? Every race hates them... Of course they are going to act like that.. She has said numerous times that once we get to know her she won't act like that anymore. Why must you complain? It's not even worth complaining about... If you have a problem with how people are playing the role play. Leave. Simple as that.

Alright, perhaps there were some misunderstandings here. I just don't interpret tieflings as being as hated as you make them out to be. Not because they don't scare people, but because msot settings have so many worse things out there that tieflings kind of move to the background in the grand scheme of things.

to give an example, joe the peasant could waste his time on chasing a tiefling that just wants to be left alone off of his land, or he could fortify his door against the nth squa of bandits that started plagueing the countryside.
