Name: Moritz Greiter

Bio: Prior to the invasion of Poland, Moritz was a steel worker in the Rhineland who held little interest in joining the Wehrmacht if he could avoid it. Instead, he lived a relatively peaceful and straight forward existence; working 6 til 6 in the factory during the day, and caring for his wife and daughter in the evenings. He worked hard, kept his business to himself, and turned an increasingly blind eye to the questionable shenanigans of National Socialism.

However, with the outbreak of World War Two, he was finally called up to serve the Fatherland. Unable to shirk the draft, he reported to his local muster office and was launched head first into the world of the German war machine.

He spent three months training as a tanker, and made it in time to join the invasion of France. During the battle, his unit was often found on the fleeting fringes of the Blitzkrieg advance. From one action after another, Moritz gained prestige as an abled soldier, and soon assumed the role of a Panzer III commander.

During the battle of the Waygand Line, his Panzer platoon sustained heavy casualties - including his immediate commander - and he found himself facing down two superior French tanks in an open field. Keeping his cool, he operated a daring attack against his opponents, successfully evading their fire and executing a close-range AP kill on both. For his actions, he was hailed as a hero, and elevated to the rank of Captain.

And as the scene is set for the Eastern Front, he finds himself in charge of Panzergrenadierkompanie B's Panzer platoon. Time will tell if this reluctant soldier continues to excel in the bloody business of war.

Personality: Moritz is almost always sarcastic and cynical of just about everything, and makes little effort in hiding his displeasure at being forced into the war. However, when confronted with a situation, he becomes focused and cold in a calculating kind of way. He's a soldier's leader, and mingles with his men well, but struggles to keep a front of joyful optimism when conversing with other officers.

Bio: Dimitri used to be a farmer, that was until Stalin made an agreement with those Nazi Dogs, atleast it had bought Mother Russia time to prepare for war, Stalin knew what he was getting into and was ready to attack Hitler along the western front. Dimitri was drafted into the Loyal Red Army and became a valued sniper due to his training.

Name: Karl 'The Executioner' Jager

Bio: Karl used to go to university before Hitler came into power, he was a huge supporter of the Weimar government and thought that democracy was the smartest way for his country to mover forward after their defeat in world war one. However after the Death of Friedrech Ebert he found that his country began to decline. It was only after Hitler and the Nazi party began to win seats in the reichstag that he finally saw some change coming to his country. When Hitler finally got the enabling act he was drafted into the military. His first real operation was at the Battle of Dunkirk where he and his MG34 crew killed atleast 34 british soldiers. After this battle he was transferred to Panzergrenadierkompanie B to help with the Invasion of the Soviet Union during Operation Barborossa.

Personality: calm, patriotic.

Name: Klaus Zimmermann

Appearance:

Klaus has short, blonde-brown hair, and steel grey eyes. He's somewhat average in height and weight, though he does stand slightly shorter than some of his squadmates.

Bio:

Born in Berlin in 1917, Klaus' family was quick to suffer when the Great War ended. His father had been employed in a weapons factory, and was one of the first people fired when the treaty was signed. Shortly after, lack of food and goods saw the Zimmerman family being forced out of Berlin, to a farm owned by Klaus's uncle in southern Brandenburg. It was here that Klaus was raised, going to school in a nearby small town, and working on the farm alongside his father and uncle. As he grew, his family instilled in him a sense of pride for who he was, as a citizen of Germany. This is what would drive him to join the newly formed German Military in 1935, as soon as he turned 18 years of age.

Personality:

Although a very patriotic individual, Klaus is somewhat of a coward. He will fight, though getting him to do anything daring or heroic is very difficult. He also doesn't like the idea that he may have to hurt innocents, but he does understand that war is war. He tries his best to follow orders to the letter, but has slipped up on the rare occasion.

Name: Hanz Adalhard "The Mad Fox"

Gender: Male

Nationality: German

Bio: Hanz took an interest in military from a young age, particularly the new technology of tanks. His interest came from his father, a soldier in world war one, who told him of the early tanks he'd seen before the war ended. He enlisted in the army at 18 and trained to become tank crew, which he excelled at and soon became a tank commander, much to the chagrin of some of his older colleagues. He saw little action in the invasion of Poland and was eventually transferred and given command of a Sturmgeschütz III for the push through The Ardennes. It was there that his unorthodox-but-effective tactics earned him the nickname "The Mad Fox" as well as a position of command with Panzergrenadierkompanie B.

Personality: Hanz is energetic and somewhat erratic, he can take any setback or surprise in stride and has the patience to work around them if necessary. He never loses his air of confidence though his unpredictability can work both for and against him as his enemies have a hard time foreseeing his next move but his allies may not always know everything he's up to.

Bio: Levente joined the army out of necessity during the great depression, finding no other way to support himself and his family otherwise. During his basic training he found he had a knack for marksmanship and was transferred to the sniper corps. One of his favorite exercises was a "Duel" between snipers, involving two shooters trying to locate and hit the other before their opponent did.

Levente, despite the unfavorable conditions that lead to his enlistment, was rather happy with army life and was all to glad when Hungarian forces joined in the invasion of the Soviet Union.

Personality: Levente started his Military career with a "If i must do it, I might as well enjoy it" attitude, the latter part of the sentiment only grew when he found he enjoyed military life. His Joyous and carefree demeanor only seems to grow the higher the odds are stacked against him, and reaches it's peak when he is engaged in a duel with another sniper in the field.

Bio:

Erik is a long serving member of Germany, and proud to be. At the ripe age of 18, World War One erupted, and Erik went to study at the Potsdam Kriegsschule learning infantry strategy and logistical warfare. Once graduated, Erik operated a domestic logistical command structure on the Eastern Front based in East Prussia; while in no danger, the pressure was still on to assist Austro-Hungarian forces fight Russian hordes day and night. Eventually, when the war came to a conclusion with the Treaty of Versailles, Erik was one of the few officers of the 22nd Army who wasn't relieved due to the crippling of the German economy. When Adolf Hitler ran for the Presidency of Germany, Erik was skeptical of his claims to return Germany to its former glory. However, when Hitler dominated the election and proceeded to reclaim old territories and re-mobilize the German Wehrmacht, Erik built trust for him. Now, after the Blitzkrieg of Poland, Erik is about to be launched into the fray again in the East, once again against the Russian forces, along with their many allies in the Soviet Union...

Personality:

Erik is a robust patriot for Germany who wants to see the long historical opponents of Deutschland kneel before the Fatherland. While this seems maniacal, he is also sympathetic, and believes in the policy of respecting the enemy. Take him as fair and just, but wielding an iron fist. He is also very conservative of resources, and hopes that his support will be put in efforts that will have a lasting effect, and will not take kindly to lost materials.

Bio: Born and raised in Moscow, he always showed interest in playing music, particularly the violin. Studied music from some of the older violinists in town and eventually started playing for an a small band. At age 18 he signed up for the military and was put into the reserves, guarding factories and convoys in the rear. As soon as war with Germany was announced, he and his unit were transferred to the front lines to help bolster defences for their first taste of combat despite being in the Army for a few years.

Personality: Calm under pressure, patient and cautious.

【Bio】

Joakim had always been a militaristically gifted child - playing 'shooter sticks' with his friends mimicking the soldiers of the first world war. He was never a leader - always a follower, but he followed orders to the letter and because of that was always a good boy, in and outside of school. When he was 18 he enlisted with the army for a mandatory training (as was required in Germany to circumvent the Versailles treaty). When the war began, he immediately voluntarily enlisted to become a soldier.

He was not involved in the invasion of France, he was not of important enough stature to be drafted for the 'luxury condition' of fighting the French, nor was he lucky enough to be drafted for it. Instead he spent his time in Poland. Not that it was much worse - the Polish were undermanned and underequipped, fighting them with horses at some points. What the Polish lacked in equipment they made up for with ferocity. Never the less none could stand up against the German might - and perhaps the Soviets helped a little bit too. After his service in Poland he was promoted to become a panzergrenadier, serving dutifully in the remarkably uneventful Poland. Atleast, until Operation Barbarossa started. Now he spends his time under Panzergrenadierkompanie B fighting the Russians on the east front after being designated to fight there.

【Personality】

Joakim is an avid supporter of National-Socialism, filled with love for the Fatherland. He is prepared to lay down his life for the glory of the Reich, and that is visible in his demeanor when it comes to taking action. He will generally volunteer for any action deemed dangerous, because he is brotherly and a kind man (to his fellow Germans, not anyone else) and would do a lot to protect them and take the full load and responsibility upon himself.

Officers commended him for it. Fellow soldiers berated him for it.

Joakim himself is proud to be who he is.

Furthermore he is a man that enjoys order and hierarchy - he follows orders, he follows them well, and any mistake in the orders is not the fault of others, it is simply his careless execution of the orders that is at fault. He is respectful to his superior and demands respect from his inferiors (though, given his rank, there are not many inferiors). Any order given is met with a simple 'ja, herr kommandant!' before he rushes off to do the task given to him.

Pavlov was born in a far away oblast called Nizhny Novgorod, a place that is on the Wolga just like Moscow. He lived on a farm on the outskirts of the oblast, where the province was rich with teeming wildlife and forestry industry. He lived there until he was 14 after which his father was unable to support the farm anymore and had to move to Leningrad to work there as a factory worker.

At age 18 Pavlov left his motherly home and trekked to Moscow where his father had told him he could get work easily. He hadn't been called upon for the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact based invasion of Poland, luckily for him, but once operation Barbarossa started he was, like many other factory workers, pressed into service of the army.

Currently he is employed in the defense against the German invasion, and though he has little faith in the defense of Russia, he will lay down his life for it if he must. Za Rodrinu! Za Stalina! URA!

【Personality】

Pavlov is a quiet boy, who is not yet accustomed to war. He's scared because of that, but there is little option other than to listen. Charge for the Motherland, forwards! And so he will do it but only because he must, because any step back is sentencing your fellow soldiers to death at the hands of the nazi invaders.

He is brotherly, but prefers to avoid the war if he can. Some would call him a great friend, as he is kind to his fellow soldiers if he takes a liking to them (and that is pretty much everyone, since Pavlov is not a mean person, nor is he demanding or rude.)

As for his taking to order and hierarchy, he endures it but again only because he must. The Soviet commanders are brutal in their ways and send forth wave after wave to repel the enemy Germans from their positions to no avail, and instead of changing the tactic, they simply push forward more men. Pavlov is simply awaiting his time, as certain death awaits.

Bio: Rudolf was born into a family with a long traditional family tree of successful Soldiers. When he was old enough he was sent straight to the military academy and graduated at the top of his class. Another degree course followed and finally came out of the academy ranked as an Oberleutnant (First Lieutenant). He wasn't really interested in the campaign of the National socialists. Rudolf was a Soldier at heart and fulfilled his duty accordingly.

However, when World War Two finaly broke out and with the Nazi Regime in the Reichstag, he could no longer avoid them. Now he had to follow their orders and so he was amongst the Soldiers taking part in the Blitzkrieg offensive.

Soon Rudolf got acknowledged as a competent officer and commander. No matter how bad the situations were. He always managed to win his battles while keeping his casualties to a minimum. For his achievements he didn't only get promoted to the rank of a Hauptmann (look at the more info tab), he also received the Iron Cross.

With the commencement of Operation Barbarossa Rudolf ended up as the commander of Panzergrenadierkompanie B's Mechanised Infantry Platoon A.

Personality: Rudolf is a very analytical and smart Officer of the Wehrmacht. He's as good with guns as he is with tactic and strategy. While on duty he's strict and disciplined, unless you piss him off then he can be quite temperamental.
