Moeasha smiled at the warmth, even more amazed by the rare bottle. She drifted to sleep, exhaustion easily pulling her under. Her dreamscape was filled with rolling waves and playful laughter, shiny objects sinking to the depths of the ocean only to be retrieved by beautiful maidens and set upon sea stone shelves.

In the morning, Moeasha arose, yawning and stretching the kinks from her body. Half-awake and bleary eyed, she absentmindedly uncorked her pouch and began to rub water on her skin. Once the morning ritual was complete, she stood and watched Azerus lying like a cat in the sun. She was hesitant to wake him yet, the night had been eventful and tiring. Letting him rest for a little longer, Moeasha decided to find them something to eat. Forty minutes later she was lightly shaking Azerus awake, the scent of a warm meal drifting in the air.

At first Azerus resisted the call of day and Moeasha, while the smell made him unflatteringly drool upon himself, it wasn't enough to raise him from slumber. Then a certain amount of logic and realisation slipped into his subconscious.
Suddenly startled and surprised Azerus shot up from his makeshift bed.

Poised and ready for a fight his wide eyes darted around, finally coming to fall on Moeasha. A wave of relief took him as the past night came flooding back to him. Crossing his legs he took a seat before her.

"Coulda been more gentle." he mumbles, trying to find place to lay the blame of his unduly reaction as he rubs the sleep from his eyes.

"What have you got there? Did you find the rations I packed?"

Moeasha blushed in embarrassment and apologized. "I am sorry, I did not mean to startle you!" She then paused with a look of shock on her face, "No! I did not go through your things....I hunted a rabbit, and after some struggle started a fire. Then roasted it. It may be bland. But now I feel my struggles were in vain if you had packed rations!" Moeahsa moved backwards and sat near the fire where a rabbit was indeed roasting above. "After our meal, we should hurry back to the guild. I want to collect my payment and find a new mission so I may make even more money! I also want to thank you for this mission, even if we got less than planned. Your power is quite impressive!"

Azerus didn't quite know how to take her actions or reply. She was, she was well different.
While his ego usually lapped up such compliments he never showed a hint of gratitude for such things so obvious, yet on this quest he felt it was her who showed a more resilient versatile display of magic.

"I know that." he mumbles in an answer-all reply with a hint of guilt as he moves closer to the food.
"the rations will hold" he simply states before digging in.

The journey back was slower and more comfortable, they stopped by a stream to stretch and rest while consuming the rations. Once again night was falling as they neared their home town.

In the distance a very angry farmer began waving around a pitchfork as he came racing and cursing at the two.

Moeasha watched as the farmer grew closer, "Let's stop and see what the man wants?" Moeasha asked Azerus, but her actions were decisive and she leapt down from the trotting horse. She took her hood down from over her head, and waited for the farmer to get closer. She was quite ready to arrive home, but she wasn't going to ignore whatever was going on. However, at the obvious anger the farmer had, Moeasha took caution and rested her hand on her pouch ready to jump into action if necessary. If anything, this mission had taught Moeasha to be more cautious and that not everyone was trustworthy.

"I kinda took his horse..."
Azerus admits as he jumps down from the splendid beast and removes his belongs before petting it seemingly for the last time.

"I think that's the guy anyway." Despite his felony Azerus was completely calm and nonchalant about the whole ordeal.

The farmer was puffing and panting by the time he reached them.
Leaning on his fork after stabbing it the ground he yaps at them between whistling breaths.

"Why ya little scum! Aye I oghta...
Tell me why I shouldn't tell the 'thorities?"

Azerus only shrugged.

"Azerus!" Moeasha scolded, but knew it wouldn't mean anything to her guild mate. He was certainly a strong-willed and stubborn man. "Sir, I am very sorry. Your horse has had no harm done to it, and I would not have let us take him had I known he was stolen!" Moeahsa told the man, trying to calm him down. "We have retuned the creature to you now, so you may rest."

After saying this, Moeasha turned to quickly hurry into town, completely ready to get her reward from the guild and then go about the rest of her day. She left Azerus to either deal with or ignore the farmer. As soon as her bare feet touched the cobblestone pathways of Magnolia, Moeahsa breathed a sigh. It was not long before Moeasha was skipping along towards Fairy Tail, her good mood returned.

When Moeasha arrived at the guild Azerus was already somehow there.
However he was not alone. Two guards cautiously were putting his hands in shackles.
Being passed around was the warrant for his arrest should he fail to pay the charges laid against him.

The charges were a dime less than Moeasha's reward money...

Moeasha was shocked, and after asking the guards her shoulders slumped in defeat. She asked them to wait there while she ran into the guild to receive her reward. Moeahsa knew she should probably just let them take Azerus, as it was his fault for breaking the law. But she also felt it was her duty to help her guild mate, and technically the reward money was also his since Azerus had been there too. Once outside, Moeasha handed over all that was owed, holding the last coin in her hand with a sad look in her eyes. Then she raised her other hand and slapped Azerus across the face. "Next time, do not break the law!!!!"

Azerus only smiled as he rubbed his cheek.
"After all this," he motions to the guild around him. "after tasting freedom and power could you ever imagine what it would be like to go back to the small field of mundane life?"

It was rhetoric and the pause was small.

"No, it wouldn't be fair..."

If she didn't understand what he was on about she soon would if she ventured into the hay filled basement where the horse was poorly hidden.

Moeasha had just purchased the guild a horse.

Moeasha wasn't sure what Azerus was speaking about, and she had no idea about the horse. However, his comment about mundane life could not be ignored. "My life before coming to Fiore, and then to Fairy Tail itself, was not mundane. I left home for the very reason to seek out a different life style. But I wouldn't desire to leave here, not ever. Fairy Tail is a better home than I've ever known, and I will treat it thusly. Even my guild mates who seem to call trouble to them." Moeasha smiled, then entered the guild hall once more, making her way to a quiet table to relax and enjoy the bustle of activity around her.

Lance took a seat and relaxed inhaling the fresh air around him, he hadn't realized that Azerus and Moeisha had returned, Lance turns around to see Azerus was in custody but only shortly as Moeisha pays for his release. "Azerus is troublesome" he says under his breath, he than smirks. Despite his troublesome behavior Azerus was always a potent mage and he thought of him as a rival. Lance waves at Azerus, "how did your mission go" Lance asked.

Azerus rolls his eyes as he walks up to the bar taking a seat, slowly he acknowledges lance and looks towards him, his eyes chastising him.
"Why do you waste your breath on such questions? This was my job not one of yours."
Azerus just couldn't pass up the opportunity to taunt and berate the lightning Mage.
He slyly chuckles as he turns away and orders a meal and drink.

Jade walked into the guild throwing the doors open as she walked over to the bar and sat down. She had just finished a long mission that had taken her two months to complete and in return the person that hired her only gave her a portion of what the reward was supposed to be leaving her in a sour mood and the man's front yard covered in rock spikes and cracks in the earth. Jade looked up from glaring at the counter when the bartender asked her what she wanted, "The usual please." Jade replied monotone giving the bartender money before she left to get her drink.

Jade turned the stool 180 degrees and looked around the rowdy guild. She peered around noticing older guild members peering at her and whispering in hushed tones. Her eyes narrowed and she gave them her cold glare causing them to look away from her and her to smirk slightly before her face once again became blank. Jade then turned around towards the bar again when she heard her drink being set down. She picked it up and took a sip of it, glaring at the wall across from her as she let her thoughts consume her.

Bishop made his way to the bar, without saying a word the bartender poured him a drink. Bishop looked around, "so loud and annoying." He thought to himself. The only reason he had even came back was because he recently ran of of missions to do and needed to look at the boards agin. He glanced to his side and saw a girl glaring at everyone. "Hmm I wonder what her problem is?" He questioned.

Jade scoffed upon hearing the words the guy said to himself and turned her head to look at him. "My problem is people like you. People talking about me, making rumors about me, pitying me, and staring at me. Why can't people mind their own damn business!" Jade said her voice laced with annoyance and anger before she turned back towards the wall and downed the rest of her drink slamming it onto the bar and receiving another.

Bishop tried to read the girls lips but she spoke too fast, he began trying to sign to her but she turned around and faced her drink. Bishop reached his arm out and tapped her on the shoulder then pointed to his ear and shook his head.

Jade turned and looked at him with a slight roll of her eyes before noticing him pointing to his ears, she instantly felt bad and frowned. "Sorry... I didn't mean to be so rude... well I kind of did but I guess rude is normal for me now." She apologized speaking slowly.

Bishop shrugged, his mouth slowly opened "uhh...don't fell baad" he murmured he know his words were almost unintelligible but he hoped the girl would understand. He begun to sign to her in hope she could understand. "Being rude is just a defense."

As he began to sign a memory of her father teaching her to sign popped into her head, then one of her and her grandmother signing to each other since her grandmother had lost hearing in both ears and sight in one eye. She then refocused on the guy in front of her before signing back to him, her signing obviously a bit rough as she hadn't used it in a while. "I guess you could say it is, or maybe it is a lifestyle for me by now."
